  • With the latest firmware update came Quick transfer, this feature you are able to store and process materials on your mobile devices without linking with the remote controller. Mavic 3 will be able to transmit materials from the drone to the mobile device more quickly through the Wi-Fi 6 protocol that would support download speeds of up to 80MB/s. In addition, Mavic 3 will also automatically select the fastest transmission mode based on the wireless environment without switching to Wi-Fi mode manually. In this video, we show you the speed difference between quick transfer and standard transfer and show you how to use it!

    Great vdo! If we download the files straight to our phone album in normal transfer or quick transfer, the video which gets downloaded is the low res preview version or the original file gets downloaded??

    Thank you so much. Cool feature. From what I understand it doesn’t allow 5.1k files to transfer at full resolution. That leads me to my stupid question..maybe I should just shoot in 4K all the time. If I shoot something with higher resolution than 4K, for example 5.1 K, and then output that in 4K, would that be higher quality than just shooting in 4K originally? I hope that makes sense .

      Agreed! This is something I discovered after. I hope that is at least added later.

    Great video :)
    Just One question… it’s one thing I’ve been wondering with this drone whether or not it’s like the Mini 2, are 4K 30 FPS video files chopped to 5 minutes 27 seconds each maximum, much like with the Mini 2 I’ve noticed, Or are they longer, OR are they as long as however long you’re filming in it for?

    • @HelpCloud
      @HelpCloud  Год назад +1

      All DJI drones seem to chop them around 6 minutes. Even my Mavic 3 does the same thing.

    Hey, quick question: when you are recording a video or take a picture while your drone is in the air, it obviously saves the original complete file to the drones SD card, but it saves a lower quality "cached" copy to your phone/RC Pro Remote. Is there a way to save an identical copy with the same file size and quality to your RC Pro remote while you're flying, or even when your drone is on the table next to you? My RC Pro has an SD card in it and so does my Mavic 3. Basically, what I'm trying to do is when I have video footage or photos on my drone, I want to be able to transfer them directly to my RC pro remote and I can then use Internet access to upload them to Instagram directly from my remote instead of having to land, take out the SD card, put it on my computer, transfer the original, high quality, files, edit, and then post to social media. Please help!

      If you head into the album, you can select the photo to download, this will download the full file resolution. This can be done while flying but the download is limited to 5-6MB/s.

      You can, follow this video. Drone can NOT be flying in order to use quick transfer, also some areas have the 5ghz band blocked so you are limited to 2.4ghz.
