I've been playing Outlands on and off for a couple years and I didn't know about three of these things. That's a big quality of life improvement for me going forward. Also I found one of the most important settings playing a mugger archer is to turn auras on for warmode. The build would be literally unplayable without that setting.

I typically recommend sticking to one weapon type/skill at a time. The reason being is that you're capped at 700 skill points (on UO Outlands). So, if you decide to commit to multiple types of weapons (that require different skills), you'll be limited in what you choose for other skills. Not to say you can't, there will just be trade-offs :)
It can really depend! UO Outlands is very different (IMO in a good way) from the official servers. Think of them as just different "flavors" of the game. Some unofficial servers try to mimic how the game used to feel back in the day, while others try to just improve upon the base game. Regarding PVE, I the official servers only have PvP in very specific areas.
@@larathian That's sort of true even though you are ignoring all the similarities, enough that the video above could be made applicable to both. But by the same reasoning you could argue that Ultima Online is not Ultima Online. Like if you brought a UO player from 1999 to play official UO shard today he would find that all the systems are different and that it's a different game.
thank you for helping. please show more game and less of you narrating. less filler is better in a tutorial video it shouldnt take 10 minutes to explain 5 simple things unless you are padding your time
If you do All Mobiles instead of All Names it will still show the debuffs and leave out a lot of unnecessary clutter as well.

Outlands is not Ultima Online. They made their own mmorpg :D all systems everything is different
