I can't believe people are still playing this game. This game was my life from like 1998-2004. Insane that it still has an audience.
Ultima Outlands is what Ultima Online always should have been.
You should honestly jump on! It's still just as great as ever! I have an insane rig that cost me almost 6 grand and I could play
any top tier title with ultra settings and guess what I do instead? I play UO Outlands every single day! Because no game in the
history of PC gaming has ever came close to matching the overall enjoyment one can get from UO, aside from RUST.

I don't know if it's because I play the game, or also that I have nostalgia for it, but the mechanics in this game are so exciting. I love hearing the stories people have about things that have happened to them. I love dying in a dungeon, losing all my stuff, and then going back the next day and the same thing happen except this time someone is there to help me get back to my corpse. It's the stuff like that that make this game the greatest MMO ever made. No game will surpass this timeless classic. Ultima Online [Outlands]. 🎉
You can use a sort agent in Razor to pull items from a trapped box, no need to untrap or blow yourself up. It's super handy.

Could you expand on how to do this? I'm trying with a trapped pouch but it still sets it off. Does it only work with tinker trapped boxes?
My first MMO experience was WoW and I love vanilla WoW to death. I've tried EQ P99 to see where my favorite genre and game came from, where the roots lie, and I had such a blast.
This video just popped up in my recommendations, so looks like it's time to try one of the other "big" oldschool MMOs.. very interested to see what UO is all about, cheers mate

Grinded yesterday all evening and saved up for 2 air aspect distillations to level up my aspect for the forst time. Went to anchors bay amd bought two. Before i got to the moongate they dissapeared. Dude comes up to me and tells me that the other guy stole them and he know cause he was trying to steal them too..... Im new to this game I didnt even know they could do that shit :))))) anyways 30k gone but a good lesson learned. Love this game

I use a trapped box to avoid theives. You don't need to blow the box up or lockpick it every time, that would take forever and be dull.
Use organiser agents to move stuff out of the box without opening.

Not gonna lie...Bomb boxes dropped on corpses from my trouble maker has become my recent favorite pasttime.
Ty for the video. Hopefully some of these tips will help. I'm at the point deciding whether or not to keep playing because every single encounter I've had on this server in game has been negative. I'm all for player killing, but this server seems like it is 90% bad wannabe "pvp" players only going after new players/miners. Maybe some of these will help out. I love the server and I love pvp but not when it is only people looking to get an easy kill.
Join a decent guild. It changed my game experience for the better significantly
1) join a guild, they can help you out in a tight spot.
2) learn to avoid griefers and reds better. We all fall for scams and tricks on occasion, but treat each encounter as a learning experience and you'll soon spot how to avoid the aholes.
Hang in there buddy. Early on its def best to find a guild and farm in a group if possible.

I have never played this game, I want too, is there a way to change the UI? It’s weird that like 25% of the screen is the game then the rest is black with random stuff. Am I missing stuff?

I don't even play and I feel the grief
I went and reviewed some threads about PK's on the server and it was real discouraging to see Owen say "just get resist and wrestle in your skills" - which does not make for a good PVM experience. Why do reds take so much join in the unfair fight of their PVP templates vs a defenseless PVM farmer? It can't be a thrilling challenging kill for them, kinda sad that adults can take joy in something as cruel as depriving others of their entertainment.
Resist now adds damage, and wrestling now adds mana refund and can be used as a weapon skill.
So ends up working out well for pvm now.
Why would a grey loot-thief wait for me to attack him? Me attacking him prevents giving him a murder?

Because If I am setup for PVP and you are setup for PVM, chances are if you attack me I'm going to win. Then I am just going to loot everything I want.
I’m more likely troll my grey looter then attack him ;)
