I just started. I love nox mages so I went summoner/poison. Was doing floor 3 or 4 dungeons within a day or two, had my poison aspect in 4 days?

I wanted to like outlands, I really did. It’s just not uo for me.

I don't get all the crying . Higher damage and HP pools affect everyone not just the backstabbers... with introduction of redline and other skills that were buffed ( wah Focus) the power creep was real and adjustments had to be made. With higher gold, drops and exp from the balanced mobs makes me feel like I don't have to farm level 3 or 4 of a dungeon to make decent progress. More viable mobs for everyone! Keeping older content from going obsolete is good to news to me. We can adapt or die.

I was checking out your website, and it's pretty awesome. I know what would REALLY drive traffic to it, would be if there were a compendium of aesthetic items you can buy/wear (maybe show the prices, etc), for each server. It's a real drag trying to look up cosmetic items in Outlands, for instance.

Playing the original Ultima online was one of the most defining experiences for me in gaming. I'll never forget the excitement the fear in the buzz of running into a PK murderer outside of the cities, I remember they were flagged red and I remember getting owned by someone called mad hobo. I remember Still Standing There is a ghost helplessly watching and unable to do s*** as he looted all my gear. It really raised the stakes for survival. This will always be one of my most treasured gaming experiences. For me the only thing that came close was the first time I played quake using 3dfx hardware and the glide drivers. Pure eye candy nothing else even came close. I would give anything to be able to experience uo like that again. But my account would now be 27 years old so I'm sure it's all gone and dead. I only have 8 big notes and 5 small notes available, no where near as many as you. how do i unlock the rest of the notes?

As opposed to what game that isnt just farming monsters, loot hunting, and open world pvp. People are so dumb. Outlands offers so much more than your average mmo. Tradeskills and housing systems offer more than most right there. Theres so much to do, so much customization, so much theory crafting, its hard to keep up with it all.
