- proof of concept of me downgrading a jasper rgh from dash 17559 to 9199 this console was also initally rghed on much after 9199, also works with Blades dashboard

the old dashboard looks more nicer than the metro dashboard
This is huge. No idea how this gets around e-fuses. Hopefully in the future we will find a way to downgrade to blades on newer consoles

I dont understand why microsoft wouldn't let you just choose the dashboard you want to use. but no instead you have to either stay on an old firmware or use downgrading tools. and risk not being able to use the online or some games will force an update. wow
I know. The older menus had something called "character", and it's severely lacking in modern menus.
theres efuees that burn each time you update if you were to downgrade it would mess up a fuse and your entire console would stop working unless its rgh ofc
I may be late, but to do this, just dump current nand, load nand and cd key on jrunner, and on xebuild section set kernel version and nand type thing to what you want, I set mine to 6717 with glitch2(I left CB as is), you may have something different, but just set it to whatever your console uses/has. Create XeBuild Image, and flash it using xell or nand flasher program/tool.

for anyone who wants, this is the list of kernel versions and nands:
6717 - blades (note: for a lot of fats this is the earliest you get)
9199 - nxe (note: for trinity slims this is the earliest you get)
17489 - earlier build of metro
17559 - latest build of metro
If a system has already been RGH modded and downgraded, can the NXE dashboard access games it normally can’t without updates for the Metro dashboard?
nope, you need those updates to be able to play those specific games

It'd be nice if you could connect to Xbox Live without having to update back to the Metro dash
@isa same man i feel you i want to downgrade dashboard since i hate new dashboard its also most ugly and most boring dashboard i have seen i remeber old dashboard used to be full of games on home screen with nice things like when new game came out dashboard showed now all i see is gold with games and full of my games my games list everywhere

No, I believe y you have to have the ones that actually had it before and is compatible
USE THIS SOFTWARE AT YOUR OWN RISK, if you're not familiar with jrunner or flashing or xbox kernels, do not use
9199 works on slim and phat, blades works on only phat
if I was smarter I would use it to download the kinect dash

bro i have an xbox 360 slim on dash 9199. how could i mod it to play old games and install dlc without updating to a new dash version? this is for offline use only
you have a pretty rare console right there, what you could do it send it to someone who has a RGH service for them to rgh it for you, then you can do all of that stuff
Honestly dashboard doesn't matter in 2020 as the RGH can be done on any dashboard. If a slim on 9199 is a rarity to you then i suggest buying one on a newer dashboard(trinity motherboard), then find someone you can send it into to do the mod for you. I know reliable sellers(I can show proof) who have been doing this since 2010, I can send you a link to their shop if you want.
As modded xboxes are blocked from live, you shouldn't worry about updating it. If you do pay someone to do it for you, they should automatically update it to the latest dashboard.

Rob yeah i collect xbox consoles. the purpose would to have the slim on 9199 modded to play old games. sort of my personal xbox nostalgia time machine. reminds me of the early days of 360 gaming. only offline use of that time period is my goal for the slim.
@@Gscoops ah, I thought you meant as in rgh-ing a console that's on 9199. Sure you can keep it on 9199 when its modded, but i don't think most games made after 2010 will run, also the modded apps like Aurora won't run eiither, so you'll have to use outdated programs. So if you do it, just play games from 2011 and before and you should be good, but things like xexmenu will run on 9199
Rob that’s exactly my plan. games from that time period like bo1 mw2, left 4 dead, halo 3 halo reach. stuff like that. the goal would be install xm360 and download the games on the computer then unlock them on the xbox and just have fun

Hi, It's been 2 years already? So yeah hypothesis was correct he is using a freeboot nand with the files from J-Runner like the description said. at the time I didn't know this method worked for RGH as I was the first person on RUclips to make this exact video but with a Jtag and not a RGH.
