I highly recommend using Timestamp when it doesn’t have picture and send pictures!! I still leave everything at door and send Timestamp pictures before complete in message. I had customer falsely report missing order last wk but I had Timestamp pic prove delivered it so covered myself.

This episode gave me flashbacks and triggered my app-shopping PTSD. I've been avoiding any shop orders with more than 10 items, and even then problems arise, and that inner clock is nagging on me, ticking away. I should probably work on my patience, but time is money. :)
I def think patience is key for the shopping apps. I really think the best strategy with them when selecting an order is.. can I finish this order in x amount of time, and if you honestly think you can and that works in line with what your $hr goal is.. then you take it.. but yea, patience is key for sure.

The main difference between seltzer and sparkling water comes down to where the carbonation comes from. If the carbonation is artificial, it's probably seltzer or club soda and regulated like a soda. If the bubbles are naturally occurring, straight from the source, it's sparkling water.
In Canada, Cornershop lets you add items that are more expensive. Also, you get a contract violation from DD by being 9 mins late. They say 10 but lots of people have noticed 9 mins gets them a violation. Sparkling water is naturally carbonated but seltzer is artificially carbonated.
FYI - If you are already in a Target or a Shaw's (Albertsons, it is possible to do Uber, Instacart, Doordash, and Shipt at one time. Doordash is fine with it - key is to only advance to delivery once you are ready to drive with your car loaded.
I love shopping for customers on instacart I typical do it 5 to 6 days a wk!!! I prefer just shop all day and don’t do food apps much anymore. I do live in California so get prop 22 so guarantee 20 a hour plus, 30 cents a Miles, plus tips and 1275 in health insurance every 3 months if I average 25 hours a wk.
What part jn California? And how much can you make a week? Do you do full time because I started to do shipt I also live in California but don’t get too many orders where I live
Well if that is true in California that is really great. It's just like having a union fighting for you to set up basic wages and parameters so you can't be taken advantage of. That's why here in New York I'm glad they set up the $15 an hour minimum also in other blue States forcing these companies to finally pay more even though everyone said they were going to go out of business or out of New York or all Democratic states. Anyway I hope that's true because that would be great
I have this app on my phone. It’s called Time Stamp Camera. When the apps don’t prompt me to take a picture I just take a picture and send it through the message. It has the address, time , date all that on the picture I send.
There is an issue with those chicken packages. I had the same thing happen to me when shopping for someone at Target. You were right, that was what she wanted even though the description isn't correct.

My customer yesterday had ordered meat and only put a quarter pound but the smallest amount they had was almost 2 lbs. I asked her if that was okay and she said yeah because she meant to adjust the weight and didn’t. It wouldn’t let me get it because it said it was “more than the customer was expecting to pay” so I tried refunding and adding new item but it wouldn’t let me do that either because the item was correct and it said I had to update the original one but I couldn’t because it weighed too much 🤦🏻♀️
If this happens in the future still refund the original, add item manually and change the way you word the item. That way the system doesn’t recognize it as already in the cart. So instead of chicken thighs name it C hi Ken Thighs. Hope this helps!
@@christiangranich5842 really I think it’s the combination of both.. but when you can bang out say a $20 shopping order in 30 minutes that’s huge because you will not often get $20 worth of delivery orders done in 30 minutes
@@TheLongIslandDashExperience do that with both meet at door and leave at door.. some people try to scam shoppers by saying items was incorrect or damaged so I take a picture in the message and at leave at door I take a picture..
My circumstances have changed as well, I’m paying for my daughters new car and adding Spark into the mix it has been great. I squirrel away all my earnings after the car expense for investing and retirement, emergency fund. I have no debt besides my mortgage and car. Love your channel, isn’t it funny how we kinda avoided shopping and now we all want them now!!??

Exactly I have no debt I bought A $3000 bidder that gets 35 miles to the gallon I started out with my V8 grand Cherokee But I bought that car in one month I'm glad I did when I bought that Gas was cheaper but now it's very expensive
My DoorDash driver messaged us tonight telling us he had to wait an additional 5 minutes for our food and if we could compensate him extra for waiting the 5 minutes. I already had given him a really high tip and was thrown off by his request. I had a driver message me last week telling me that DoorDash steals all of her tips and she is a single mom and asked me for more money too. Have you heard of drivers doing this? I have always had a pretty decent experience, but lately it’s just getting out of control with these additional requests and guilt trips.
Wow!! That is really awful of them! Im def mentioning this in the next video we record.. I will def have a rant ready! Disgusting behavior by those drivers IMO.

hey guys!!!!!! You guys kill it with the shopping orders lol. Im like you Lou but I dont have my fiance helping me ever lmfao. Major struggle. I did pretty well today though. Did a 126 amazon flex route 4.5 hour that I finished in 3.5 hour and then I did like 3 spark delvieries totaling like 60 bucks and a uber eats for 9 and Door Dash Meijer Shopping order for 24 bucks like 20 items. It wasnt too bad I guess but damn they stress me out lol. So did like a little over 200 bucks in about 7 hours. Ill def take it.

Uber has been denying me compensation for orders canceled on location for about a month now. Had a $20 McDonald's order that was canceled while I was at the window waiting. It was a huge order that I went kinda far for. Not a fan of fast food, so I ate one burger & gave the rest to some homeless ppl.
Haha I felt that with scanning the 12 pack soda box. When I used to work at Walgreens scanning those sucked so much especially bc people usually kept them in the carts and had to lift them in the right direction for me to scan them lol. Was always a game of acrobatics. Love these videos with lots of shopping!

Mary and I make a great team, when she gets frazzled I’m there to calm her down and the same for when I get fixated on something she pulls me back in. We both get emotional in our own ways when things don’t turn out how we planned.
I'm so glad someone finally said it! I always see all of these "Mary is such a shopping superstar" and I just don't get it! She can't do any produce, she gets "frazzled" over something in every order, and she always looks quick says the item isn't there, tells the customer it's not there and then finds it (or Lou usually finds it) She never finds the actual tag to verify it's not in stock. Also on another note, it's frustrating how she insists on driving but gets just as easily frazzled doing that. Something is wrong with the parking lot, or this other driver is doing this or that, and if she's going in the wrong direction and has to turn around it's basically the end of the world. LOL
I’ve had the same situation with the 1lb of chicken on Shipt. Luckily I had a very responsive customer and she told me the app didn’t prompt her to pick how many lbs she wanted but she definitely wanted more to be 1lb. It’s clearly a Shipt Glitch that needs to be fixed.
busted my but July 4th instacarting and alot of items where where empty so these people didn't apriciate my efforts and got a few low ratings. which I expected from these knuckle heads, they have 5 cars in driveway go get your own Tai kitchen noodles!% Peter Luger steak sauce😂
You guys should start turning on dd and UE when you almost done with a instacart order… you never know when you get an order on the way to the instacart drop offf… i did a 25 instacart order then turned on dd and found a food order that was $15 for 8 miles. It was on the way to the instacart order… try it and see how it works

Those false orders only happened to me in the ghetto areas. I learned my lesson and stick to hood areas never had a problem after that.

That is infuriating.. I really wish these companies would make apps that worked right in all situations. I can imagine how frustrated you were.

It is against TOS, so definitely do it at your own risk. While it’s unlikely you will be reported since most people won’t care the risk is there.
We once delivered earlier and got in trouble because they weren’t home - they said that’s why they put that time so there food wouldn’t spoil 😮

When we are together we use our two phones. When I’m by myself I also use two phones.. one for the apps and one just dedicated to navigation

Yes, that is correct.. If you do it, understand the risk involved.
You can if you’re both approved instacart shoppers that have had background checks. But you must both be able to accept batches
