The guy asked if you got your GoPros for free because he misheard you when you said you got three. Sounds alike.
Now you know why I like Walmart shopping orders and why I choose Walmart when I order delivery for myself (I have a regular sized Walmart I deliver from and the supercenter is farther away which I order from). I also like how substitutions are automated on Walmart on Spark; so the decision is made when you are right in front of the product.
Mary always has that look of relief when Lou says the correct date.... lol

I know that dreaded feeling of “can we get all this in the car?” Look at my short (#7 if u start with the most recent short. It was a Costco order for one of my regular clients!

That was a large order I love how Walmart have the organization far as finding the products and the communication of the customer can't wait to see part two.
There is a way you can skip ahead and drop it off first. Just snap a picture and send it through the chat to the customer and then when you’re done with the second order call support and tell them you’re done.
Damn. Insane order. Big IC orders are friggin exhausting. That's a young man's game for sure! The most # of items I'll accept is 25. That is my breaking point. I literally start to see double and get dizzy. Lol.
I honestly hate to do Instacart orders. There was a batch from broadhollow road Costco $24 for 10 items only 6 miles to Bethpage. From start to finish did that for less than an hour. I even waited about 10 mins for a fresh chicken just for this customer. I found out that she gave me 1 start for no reason. Now my rating from 4.91down to 4.81. Thanks to her. Not gonna lie there were a lot of ungrateful people in oceanside and Farmingdale, NY areas.
OMG! That was such a massive order. Like dang lady, you're practically buying the whole store at this point. 😂 I'm totally looking forward to part 2. The anticipation is getting to me already, and you just uploaded this video. You 2 did a good job though. *hand claps*

Craaaazy! I just REALLY hope that you guys ended up dropping that order off first, since the refrigerated stuff was pulled at 1:03PM. All the refrigerated stuff & meat would have gone bad before arrival had you not delivered first. That stuff had already been non-refrigerated for over 20 minutes by the time you left the store. So for that reason alone, I am so glad it took up the majority of the space you had left in your vehicle.
That’s insane that you can’t drop off those items first. I imagine the dairy and meat could spoil easily in the summer time, what the heck instacart! Excited to see the second part!!

You guys did great. I'm not on Instacart but I do Spark. Spark allows you to enter the size of your vehicle to match with batch sizes in the app. I have a SUV similar to you guys and I doubt they would have allowed that batch size of those two orders on Spark. And yes Lou, I have climbed up to the top of an aisle to get an item. Looking forward to part 2. Love you guys ❤

I start out by sending a message saying let me know if you have any issues with substitutions I make. They can always reject it. I will always communicate if there are no obvious subs but if it’s one brand over another for the exact same thing or one kind of white bread because there is no round top. Just do it and if they don’t like it they can always reject it.
Big orders will take forever if you communicate about every little thing.

I deliver also and these would really help in my videos on my channel. because I only have one GoPro.😄I have found that the size of the orders depend mainly the size of your area, I dash in a small area so my orders are nothing like some of these other's do. And how do you record the app while you are shopping to add to your main video? Amazing camera work... Thank You

I’ve been getting LOP orders a lot lately if you get can in it will change your dashing for sure. Lunch time during the week is when I dash though. Some are very early dinner too.
Something about March 5th for the both of us!! WE GOT A $102 our biggest order ever on the same day!! Fortunately for us it wasn’t 100 items🤣 we have a video on our channel about it if your interested is seeing it❤️

You've discovered why people like doing Spark Shop and Deliver orders. It's super easy to find almost anything. Sadly, I recently moved to an area with very few Walmarts and very quiet Spark so don't get the great orders anymore.
Make sure you put part 2 to the largest order. Also when you have 66 units always get 2 of thefull Carts plus a hand held One for the meat and produce So they won't get damaged in the process Of you Guys shopping. When you go to the stores always get empty boxes. For when you are shopping as well Just in case you can't get a lot of bags for the shopping trip. The boxes will save your life. Can't wait for part two

Your timer is calculated based on your own shopping speed. If I’m right, that means your total shopping speed at the time of that shop was around 113 seconds per item. A lot of people feel a sense of accomplishment when they beat the clock, and it certainly lowers your overall shopping speed, but what it doesn’t mean is that you shopped any faster than other shoppers.
Every individual is going to have different shopping speeds based on the type of orders they accept, the type of shopper they are when it comes to refunds vs. replacements, business of the stores, etc, etc, etc… please don’t ever judge yourself as a shopper (not you two specifically, just generally speaking) if your shopping speed is slower than the ones you see on social media with 50-60seconds per item. They may be hustling and efficient, and they may also provide lousy service while doing so. (Not all of them!)
If your timer is red, it just means this shop had more factors at play to make it take more time… it won’t negatively impact you in any way. It will raise your average total shopping speed, but then you might have another shop that you will sail right through and bring it back down.

I had a $70 instacart order for Costco once and I was only driving a tiny Nisan Versa. The order total alone was $700. people were wondering how i was going to fit it in my car. I managed, but no bags etc. Got a $10 cash tip on top when I was hauling it to the door lol
I do delivery in the Boston area and i have seen the same thing Uber eats orders are way better than door dash. My thought is doordash puts a lot of money into recruiting new dashers so the dasher ratios are over saturated
I don't use door dash because they billed me monthly for 6 months then without my permission charged me annually 6 times. It took me months to get my bank account corrected. I will NEVER use them again.

The same thing happened to me last week when the customer added what they wanted. I had to refund and add it myself. I would scan it and it wouldn't take the scan it just stayed there, it didn't kick me off like you guys.
I heard Mary say “We didn’t know we had water.” After Lou says “next time we need to get water first”. Did the customer add the water during the shop?? If not, then why did you not know?? That is one of my best tips, that I think really helps shoppers, is before you even walk into the store, you always go over the list of items that you are getting. That way you can plan for the larger heavier things to be on the bottom & kind of have a plan of attack once you get in the store. Also, I always shop with insulated bags with ice packs in the bottom, so my cold and frozen items stay cold and frozen even though I pick them up last, still makes me feel better! they stay cold throughout the shop, checkout, delivery. When I check out and I bag the cold items together, then those cold bags go right back into the insulated bags. Most times yes it’s an Instacart order. I will actually be going over the list of items while I’m driving to the store. You know…at stoplights! 😉

Commenting as soon as you said comment below lol so I didn't see any spoilers. The only thing I don't like about high paying orders is because even if you did a great job and they are just rude/bad at getting back to you, they can give you a great tip for an incentive to get you to take the trip and actually reduce the tip after delivery. It sucks when it happens. Hopefully this didn't happen to you guys!
Best advice when it comes to Instacart and tough orders like that utilize the employees. Excuse me, would you mind showing me where there is a few things I’m looking for, nine times out of 10 they will help.
I live in Florida and we get the plastic bags at Walmart. Can I recycle them to you? 😂

I swear are usually don’t have this many comments on one video lol but I keep seeing things that I want to ask about! So now you are at check out, and what is the deal with no bags? Is that a thing in your state? They don’t give you bags in Walmart or any store? I’m so confused! I love shopping the warehouse stores like Sam’s and Costco but that’s one thing that always bugs me is no bags! I would hate that if it was all stores! So fill me in!

In florida the base pay with instacart is horrible....I had a 72 dollar order which was 7 batch pay and 65 tip....plus 20 cash...just curious why base pay so much better than here in FL

As a customer that'd drive me bonkers having my items left in a car while another shop was being done. 30 items has to be at least 20 to 30 min and there is no amount of cold bags that's going to keep that dairy/meat/etc fresh. Saving grace is it's looks cold there . Those should have been split. Shame on IC for not caring about food safety. Sorry - having been a kitchen mgr and serv safe certified I gets nuts with food safety . Great shop tho!
