How much does this moped cost? And how fast does it go? Also what would you suggest in security such as a GPS locator in case it gets stolen and where would you put it / hide it? I was looking at new mopeds and they run like $2,500. They have liquid cooling and other stuff but I don't know if I need all that. The last time I own a moped was 20 years ago and it was about $800. So not sure if inflation has gone up a lot. What brands should I look for and which ones to stay away from? Also should I look for a moped that's only one to two years old?
I would recommend you stay away from Chinese scooter. Honda, Peugeot, SYM and other brands are well known for the reliability. His scooter is 55cc i believe, and 50cc usually go around 30-35 MPH. If you can go for 125cc, trust me its much better and they both are similarly priced. For security i use Oxford boss chain for back wheel and disc lock for front wheel. If your bike isn't too flashy or you dont live in "high crime area" there is no need for GPS tracker. To hide gps tracker it all depends on the bike really. Edit: here in uk 50cc by law is have to be limited to 30MPH, but in other countries or unrestricted they may be able to hit 40MPH.
@@I-love-you-tina the max here is 50cc and 30 miles per hour, but I think I can get away with 40-45moh as long as it's 50cc and I get pulled over. I just need to get one that I don't have to have a license for.
How do you make these Chinese scooters run like Honda?
So will regular maintenance and parts, servicing keep my 49cc running good?
Err should do yeah lol
Bro..... thank you
Great video, thx bro!

@@FLOODOFSINS lucky! Here in uk you need licence for 50cc. The cheapest insurance for me for 50cc is about £300.
@@I-love-you-tina we have to register ours but we don't have to get a title or insurance in the states

Sounds like it yes, check filters when changing oil as well. Cheers 🍻
