- When I was getting into photography and Pentax in general, I loved watching overview videos that details the controls of the camera. I felt that this help train and orientate myself to the camera before I even bought it.
Here is our take with a PentaxTips Asahiflex IIA overview training video!
00:00 Basics
01:55 Front of the Camera
03:31 Back/Bottom of the Camera

Thanks for watching!
CORRECTIONS:
The frame counter automatically advances as you rotate the film advance knob. However, the counter freely moves and care needs to be taken not to accidently move the counter while advancing the film. However, there is no automatic reset on the frame counter and setting the counter back to zero is a manual process.

I just got a IIB with the 58mm,50mm and 135mm. Still finishing my test roll. Great job with the video. These cameras are so well built it's crazy, I threw mine on my shutter speed tester and it was less than 4% out of spec, and from the looks of it, it's never been serviced. Finding good info on these cameras in English is quite difficult to come across, so I'm sure this will help a lot of people. Cheers.
I have the 58mm. I'm so sad about the limited selection and an wondering if I can instead create a M39 or M42 to M27 to perhaps enjoy my m42 lenses on my tower 24 model.
A pioneering manufacturer that sets itself in history just like Leica , and rightly so.
Nice video as always. Keep up the good work!
Love the easter egg at the of the video
pretty little camera
I’ve wound the knobs but the shutter won’t click
