- In today's video, we do a good amount of math and I explain how Nahida's constellations work. I provide my usual slime ratings as well as a breakdown of how much you can expect your Nahida to improve through her constellations. I also showcase refinements to her signature weapon, A Thousand Floating Dreams.

Importnat note: if you DONT have yae's c6 or raidens c2 nahdias c2 will massively increase both of their dmg, the "low" dmg gain is only due to defence shred already being present, so if oyu cant afford a c6 yae nahidas c2 will still make her much much stronger
This also applies to basically any quicken/aggravate character. My Cyno’s slaps are over 20k now and I don’t even have the best artifacts (no good electro goblet).
Edit: To note, this without the swirl debuff. I was using Venti in a different team and only have one good VV set.

I have both yae c6 and nahida c6
TBH i don't notice a huge difference in my Yae's damage with nahida c2. I tested it... maybe 10%ish.
It's 17.6% dps increase without raiden c2 or yae c6, and 9.3% dps increase with it.
Keep in mind, even a 10% TEAM dps increase is a cracked constellation
I love how solid each of her early constellations are and also the fact that she doesn't need them at all to be incredible.
tbh this has been a trend for most 5* where their C1/C2 are the biggest QoL changes e.g Hu tao's C1, Eula's C2, Shenhe's C1, Yelan's C2 and Raiden's C2 (there's WAY more). This is moreso to incentivizes the low spenders to spend a bit more for the big damage boost

@@SilencePandaa I agree but then there are guys who're lucky af, I got C2 Nahida in 50 pulls. 1st one was a guaranteed soft pity, 2nd one was 8 pulls later and the last one was 28 pulls later. Each one them was a 10 pull so it was 50 pulls in total. I could've saved a bit more pulls had I gone one by one but tbh had no expectations on getting any constellations and was gonna go ahead and build pity for Wanderer
@@Salty_Gacha_Gamer honestly probably should have gotten the wanderer/Dehya after watching this it kinda seems like constellations for Nahida aren’t big enough to really matter. That’s what I’m doing anyways, got Mona 2 pulls after getting nahida and I’ve been battling my addiction demon ever since.

Might of been because most would assume c1 meant either 0 or plus 2.
Still a stopping point that leaves stuff to be desired(c2), but a nice bonus that can actually be used.

@@johnd7760 Honestly ? Its not that great lol. If u dont have any electro party members in the team its good for the tkp interval reduction but otherwise its not. Nahida has so much dmg% to the point that the extra dmg% u get from the c1 effect with no pyro active is considerably small and the hydro portion is mostly irrelevant since nahida already has very good burst uptime even at c0. Plus, half of the time u use nahida u do have an electro and a hydro on the team so the c1 is even more irrelevant. Its pretty much like raidens c1 tbh. Not great but nice to have.
@@deltaspecies1697 Do u have it? cause i do and the difference isn't that small. Indeed, Raidens is more of a QoL upgrade like Nahida's, but for hers, in case u run no burgeon, having no pyro means no pyro buff, where c1 solves that problem. And if run one like bennett just for heal and buff, u get the max buff. I didnt say she wasn't already great, just that this upgrade is not something that trivial as some make it seem.
I agree for the burst uptime buff thats not rl needed, though.
It is worth noting that her c4 does free up some build options because it allows for you to build a little less em in favor of other useful stats, so you could have like 800-900 on your nahida and with your c4 and other buffs you can still hit the golden number of 1000 em
i would bump that down to maybe 600ish em needed, depending on team build as nahida burst provides 150-250 em depending as well when on field and some team mate also give em
tbh depending on the build you don't even need like 800 Raw em. My nahida's at 562 raw em and gets to 1k with her usual buffs, C4 would only lower that more

Keep in mind if you play nahida on field you only need 800 em for max passive buffs
Extra notes for those that just looked at the chart:
- The chart only really addresses DPS and specifically for Tri Karma and Blooms
- c1 isn't the largest of boosts, but it does allow for greater team flexibility while allowing you to use all the buffs from Nahida's burst. As mentioned by IWTL himself, this DPS number is at the lowest, only seeming to cover the 1 Pyro worth of buff, not even taking into account the fact that the 1 Electro increases how often it hits (DPS increase) and the 1 Hydro makes rotations easier for a QoL upgrade.
- c4 while isn't the biggest buff to DPS (with one enemy), it seemingly was ignored that it allows you to have an easier time on your artifact build. Nahida in the video is using a party member to get her passive's full EM buff, but this only affects Nahida if she's on field to get the EM. This is important if you're paying attention to her EM to Crit Stat conversion passive. Of which she needs 1k EM for that too. So while yes, which ever party member has the highest EM (up to 1k) is used for determining Nahida's EM Buff, she herself needs 1k on herself for her Tri Karma EM to Crit Stat conversion buff. Okay, I rambled here, but this essentially means you need only 900 EM instead if hitting one enemy, instead of 1k for the max buffs of both effects.
- c6 had it mentioned in the video, but the chart itself shows it as 0% because it doesn't affect her Tri Karma or blooms, but it is a significant DPS burst of damage, doubling her own damage for 6 hits after using her burst. This is suuuper nice. Only down side being it has standard ICD, as it is her AA's, not her E or Tri Karma's that have no ICD.
Honestly, the only bad con is her c5. Which should only be gotten if you're aiming for c6.
c5 is a quality of life upgrade (not everyone can roll amazing artifacts) while still giving some more DPS (more if there are multiple enemies of course).
c1 is nice, but c2 is the goal for anyone that's getting constellations.
c4 can be ignored, but is a nice QoL upgrade for allowing more flexibility in your artifact builds for those that get it.
I mean I want C1 more than most of those. I want to use her in a burning comp but I need her electro interval increase and electro doesn't go well in Burning. Same with Burgeon. Strangely(?) Diluc Burgeon is actually really good since he still vapes and does similar damage. He'll also do good Burning damage to targets he's not actively hitting, (like his Burst igniting far away foes).
That C1 fact which gives a type count even if you have no one with that element in the team, makes a whole difference. Wasn't really aware of it, and makes me want to take guaranteed pull to her C1.
is it really worth an entire future 5 star character though
It’s pretty great for nilou teams - especially quick swap ones or any where nahida is on field driving - in either of these teams she has max hydro boost but is on field to burst off of cool down anyway so it’s wasted unless you build her with less energy recharge in mind knowing you have longer before you need to reactivate it.
I feel like Nahida is probably the strongest C6 R5 in the game, and a lotta ppl kinda look past her power. The fact that her karmic oblivion ticks hit everyone marked with the skill is insane, and the fact you're gaining an incredible buffer and support along the way! i definitely don't regret mine :3
I beg to differ but Yelan is the strongest c6 r5 character.
@@jhndoa5590nope, c6 furina destroys everything with 1-4 normal attacks. Her kits has their own heal, can walk on water, you can literally stand and watch the minions destroy enemies unlike yelan. So no, furina’s c6 is the most exceptional at the moment.

c1 is phenomenal, yeap! i was literally struggling to make tig catch up with her dmge output (she has her bis, tig doesn't) 😂.
And my yae c0 suddenly becoming c2 with that enormous em buff, shes rl awsome. Sad no real challenging content to enjoy her more

@@hardy83 Due to her A4 already giving her loads of DMG %, A1 doesn't increase her E damage by a very large margin, it's mainly great in teambuilding, especially in Nilou and Cyno teams
I don't think it makes her more flexible. She's just as flexible, but better on all the teams she's part of. No team exist just because of C1.
And about the pyro bonus DMG, if you have no pyro on your team, it's only 14.8%, that's like 1/4th of a goblet. On a character that already has a lot of bonus DMG, it turns out to be a lot less overal buff than it's intuitive.
For the current banner constellations aren't worth it but for future consideration I appreciate this

Could we get a showcase on Nahida as an off fielder? like, what her best builds/teams are as an off field subdps? I think a lot of people use her that way.
I would say the best off-field build would be 4 pc deep wood with all em. Any em weapon should do fine

Literally every team ud use dendro mc as off field and every team that lacks main dps/driver. i dont think its that hard to figure it out.
It's pretty simple, just put on gilded dreams with full EM, or a crit circlet if you have terrible rolls. If you aren't using deepwood on another character, then use deep wood on nahida
Lol no luck in GD/DW domain so I just slapped sucrose's em artifacts, so my nahida got 15% anemo dmg bonus
I've never gone for constelations on a limited banner before outisde of reruns for c1 huta and c1 eula. I spent 62k primos i had saved to get Nahida c2 and i don't regret it one bit. Considering there is no end game content in Genshin I basically just throw wishes at units i REALLY like now, and i heckin love Nahida.

I personally think Nahida might be the best character alongside Kazuha (especially at C0)!
Just like Kazuha, she is a very versatile and flexible unit who fits many teams.
Also unlike many other 5 star characters we got she does not require any constellations to feel complete!

Put Raiden on that list. She is one of the best supports in the game, along with being a solid DPS (and one of the best DPS if you have her C2).

@@noxinabox3506 Raiden at C0 is more a support than a dps though, I don't think she's exceptional at C0 like Kazuha, Nahida, and Zhongli.
Also Ganyu is pretty baller at C0, only really getting anything out of C1 and C6

I love this, I got Nahida mostly for my bountiful core Nilou team, but also because she's an Archon and the Archon's are progressively getting more powerful... can't wait for the last 3 Archons that are actually straight up DPS in most cases
Thanks a lot man. I was just finding this video to remove all my doubts about Nahida's cons. And also I was thinking of making her c2 to get better value out of my raiden but now I changed my mind after seeing this.
Her C1 is around 8% increase, he should've used an example without a pyro character since Hyperbloom, Bloom and Quicken do not use a Pyro character
if her C3 is 4 stars, then her C4 is 4 stars too. That extra EM comes very juicy specially if you don't have her weapon OR you are playing Deepwood. If you use her on-field 40% of her Personal DMG is her Spreads with N4 combo making it a really good constellation. If you have her C6 her C4 becomes even better.

I was a little worried that you wouldn't compare having no pyro, hydro or electro on c0 vs c1 because that's really what makes this constellation extremely good (And I've seen other people forgetting about that). Probably even one of the best c1 in the game. Having one pyro for example gives 25% bonus damage on talent lvl 9 and two gives ~ 38%, so the biggest gain is having none vs having one on the team. Same goes obviously for the other elements.
As for her c2, the 30% def shred is in my opinion also more valuable than for example Raiden's c2, because Nahida's c2 is universal and the whole team benefits from it no matter the source of damage (similar to Lisa and Razor iirc), whereas only Raiden alone benefits from her c2 though the value itself is higher. Also, even though both constellations combined (same for Yae c6) aren't additive, the damage increase is still decent I'd say, especially if you consider it as a side benefit from having the whole team damage increased.
She might be the first character whose first two constellations are worth as much :D

Well, you can use similar reasoning to come to the conclusion that she's one of few characters worth rolling to make even better. I don't think F2P players should ever roll above C1 unless they aim to play the same main team forever, but as soon as you put money in, priorities change a lot

Tysm for clearing c2 shred I told this one c2 player in co op that my nahida deal better damage because he didn’t have deep wood and my talent was one level higher and he had widsith which doesn’t in co op. But said I’m was crazy I do 42-50k he was doing 32-40k.
You need bloom on the team to get most out of your c2 or else a high talent and better deepwood stat can outdps or have the same dps on aggravate spread as a c1
I started in 3.0 and as a F2P I'm so happy I saved my guarantee and primos for her, I got lucky and pulled her weapon as well, my first limited weapon. I'm definitely gonna try to pull for more of her constellation when she comes back, cause now I'm broke asf lol.
C4 i think is a bit underrated! it removes the need to build AS much EM on her freeing you up to focus on crit or ER more. i give it 3-1/2 stars
I got c1 on a random pull today and I got so dissapointed at first cuz my primos are always so limited. But after watching this vid I feel like thats not the worst pull for me cuz I really want to play Nahida and her c1 really gives her more flexibility as well as upgrade of her ult. Thanks for clearing things out for her c1 man!
05:01 minor error, nahida c2's def reduce not only effect electro dmg, so physical dps that use superconduct can actually benefit by it.

I got c2 nahida and her r1 weapon in about 220 pulls and I'm very happy with it. It's not a massive gain for the team I like (Including Raiden) but I also wanted to use her in other comps eventually so things worked out lol.

Lol just read her talents, or watch a video on someone reading her talents and skills, I kinda had the same problem, but what I learned is she might be the most versatile character cause it really doesn’t matter how you build her as long as it’s not attack% nahida.

Interesting, but it will not make me spend money to roll for anything more, than c0. Sadly had to skip Nilou to have 100% getting Nahida (even if I lose 50/50), but since their both banners were crap not much lost and I hope Nilou rerun banner will feature 4stars I need.

i got C2 nahida and R2 Floating Dream, i was thought to save some primos to build raiden C0 to C2 to max the damage, but after i saw this video, i know i can save it for others. (For example, my raiden can still at C0 but i can aim her engulfing lighning R1 only)

I saved to C2 this character if they made it really good, because I had a feeling they'd make her the mother of all supports. Now she's future proof! I can comfortably NEVER worry about metas or suffering difficult content again, I will just simply ride out genshin's life cycle with my little blade of grass

Got c1 in same pull and id say its alr enough to be future proof and universal. C2 just makes her even more, running her with random chars and still be great.

For me id replace yelan with Klee (23% Defense reduct.) And Place yelans a tier below the best grouped with Itto (Basically infinite burst) Ayaka (Extra slashes on burst) etc.

@@Badkhela C2 Ayaka is Really strong but id have to say c2 Nahida is way too valuable and much more of a game changer. Double bloom and burn damage or defense reduction for Quicken/Aggravte all in one is insane!
As someone with c2 nahida, they both are huge and big helpers.
As a C0 with the ability to get C2 they do not matter that much. Much rather get Xinluc-Mk2 or Fallout 4’s the Wanderer.

Was absolutely floored when I won three 50/50's in a row and actually got a C2 Nahida. Then I did one ten pull out of sheer elation and got a C2 Qiqi, so now I have my next character guaranteed.
U could have gotten 2 other characters other than nahida andddd had a guaranteed for a third one though but congrats dude

@@LadyHermes difference between meta players and fun players. I rather have 3 different units to play with then one cracked one. Btw..nahida at c0 and c6 can both clear spiral abyss and even 36 star it so it doesn't matter now does it. And not talking out of my ass, I did it with c0 nahida hyperbloom team of only her and 4 stars

I think unless people have money/wishes to burn, i would rather put that towards new characters. Even though it is a massive DPS increase from c0 to c6, in actual gameplay you probably are shaving at most 20 secs from a hard abyss run since she is already so strong at c0. But each to their own, i personally stopped at c2 which i got extremely lucky with.
I really thought about spending like 200 wishes to get her cons because I love her sm but then I realized why in the world would I do that when I was already able to fully clear abyss with her barely levelled...
To full clear abyss even faster…….. fuck mihoyo, please add more end game content
Same. I clear perfectly with DMC. She shove off some seconds that didnt matter.Probably the only use I see for her C2 is if you want to use her with some 'bad" chars like Nahida + Lisa or something.
Tfw I used her lvl 60 with 70/70 crit ratio in Ayaka melt team and beaten 12-3-1 in mere 17 seconds, despite that my frozen team variant beats it in 14 seconds lol
I was already clearing stuff easily with Dendro MC. C0 Nahida makes it even easier. Why get even stronger? The combat no longer becomes fun if they die instantly. All I care about is the gameplay she provides as she is more fun to use than DMC.

Personally I would just pull for a new character, despite the DPS increase, since there's no need for that much dmg in this game anyway. And given the 4* on this banner (I have c6 for all of them), I wouldn't want to touch it if it wasn't for Nahida. Of course, this is still a great video for those who are thinking about getting her constellations - as long as you are spending your money wisely there's nothing wrong with that.
While I love that new fireworks feeling with dendro and the many damage numbers, it remains a pain in my lower part that why life does not react with soil?! No dendro geo reaction is just wrong in so many ways..
The fact her c1 works even when 0 stacks of certain elements is just amazing, tbh if her c2 wasnt already really good too I wouldnt complain if her c1 was her c2 lol

After playing since launch, the sheer amount of my unluckyness is finally over with nahidas blessing lol... Won 7 straight 5050s, 5 in character and 2 with weapon. Won yelan, kazuha, and nahida to c2 EZ CLAP

Did you played diffrently when you were unlucky? Or did you took a break in your unlucky phase?
A lot of copers downplaying the value of her c2. We get it. You wasted your pulls for Cyno and his weapon, and he still doesn't outperform your Keqing, so now you can't get c2 Nahida; hence you cope. The fact that the Dendro archon was coming in 3.2 was leaked forever ago, you had the time to save and you knew MHY won't allow archons to be bad or their cons after Raiden sales. Its fine to be a "big boy" with c0 magic guide or prefer more characters over cons. But don't be disingenuous about the reality of Nahida's cons just because of you couldn't save for it and you have to cope with your regret.

I find C1 extreme nice already if i would lose 2 times my 50/50.

I got her C1 early so I really wanted to know if that's how it functioned, but no one seemed to be mentioning it. (I'm guessing a lot of people just don't realize that's how it works yet)

ive been saving since Yelan and won't pull until Dehya so I've skipped every banner, including Nahidas. By the time I actually pull id have been saving for around 9 months and tbh its surprisingly easy to not care to pull, for me at least.

i started genshin when nahida’s first banner came out and i lost the 50/50 to the dendro fox boy (we don’t talk about that) soo nahida was my first 5 star and she’s level 90 with a level 90 weapon and triple crowned. i love her so much omg. she’s actually so cracked. i’m thinking of pulling for c2.. but i’m not sure if i’ll be able to make it there. wish me luck 😭
c6 is a bit overkill cause u want to use her with other char in fun team comps, c6 she solo everything, and everything doesnt have much HP in genshin so its not satisfiying after some time playing.
I agree. I think unless people have money/wishes to burn, i would rather put that towards new characters. Even though it is a massive DPS increase from c0 to c6, in actual gameplay you probably are shaving at most 20 secs from a hard abyss run since she is already so strong at c0. But each to their own, i personally stopped at c2 which i got extremely lucky with.

@@tomislavkvasina5854 yes I agree. That’s why I dont recommend people go higher esp if they are F2P. Especially since some of her strongest teams don’t require her to be on-field for a long time. She is easily one of the easiest characters to build artifact wise.

C1 is really great if you’re mainly focusing on specific dendro reactions. It allows you the flexibility to add other elements, such as VV user, or Zhongli shield.
I would wanna get her C1 on her rerun since I’m currently saving for Scara, Alhaitham, and Kaveh 🥲

What is the best C6R5 on field Nahida Team? I want to say maybe Hyperbloom with Yae, Kiku, xq but I need some suggestions please.
C6R5 on field can be Raiden/Yae C0 ok + Yelan C0 ok + Free slot. (I use Barbara with R5 Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers)
Yelan can be replace with Xingqiu.
C6R5 Nahida is super flexible, I test her too many times in abyss 12-3 but Dendro + Pyro team still gave me a meh.

Why wouldn’t you give gilded to Kuki and deepwood to nahida? That would heavily buff Kuki’s damage while not impacting nahida’s at all.
Nahida, Raiden, Kazuha and Yelan have the best C2 in the game. Surprisingly they are also the most highly rated 5-star characters in the game who are great at C0.
Because at c0 they are the best characters in the game due to their kits. I would say raiden and nahida are slightly weaker than kazuha and yelan because if you are skilled enough you can easily manage energy recharge so raiden's passive become useless. Nahida is great but dendro is just not as good as hydro and anemo as an element(the difference can be seen at level of c6 characters and its huge. Vape, Melt, Swirl are 3 best reactions).
@@312gamemaster Lol in that scenario, u have to be skilled to not have issues as well with Yelan and deal damage, and not trash favonius and poop dmge..

I'm a little confused why you didn't show the total crit values and EM she was getting in the intro or C0 portions, but I THINK I got it from your artifacts and passives for anyone interested (if I didn't mess anything up):
EM: 1,027 -> 627 + 250 from A1 passive when on field + 150 from Gilded Dreams 4-piece bonus
Crit Damage: 154.5
Crit Rate: 83 -> 59 + 24.0 from her A4 passive
No idea on Attack, that's too much work lol

I have her at c2 r1 and I cleared abyss faster than even my hyper raiden team. Just insane! Shes incredible!!! Shes in my top 4 best characters with hutao, raiden, yelan.
Shes definitely worth the investment if you wanna buy a welkin to save up for her and top up too.
Unlike Yae who I also spent money on I am going to play nahida ALOT. I do regret spending on yae...shouldve just kept her at c0 instead of going c2 😭
We all have regrets. I regret getting c1 Hu Tao and a c0 Xiao since I dont like playing them. I even got their signature weapons with refinement. I semi regret getting Ayaka since I've noticed I dont use her much and I got her weapon too...
