Edit 10/13/24: Having used Xilonen for a few days, I will add that her healing works in the perfectly awkward way enough to make C2 Furina notably more valuable. Its a case of Xilonen's healing often being in the perfect middle ground of not healing quite enough or healing in just slow enough ticks that it can be really awkward to maximize dmg bonus with Furina C0/C1 and Xilonen. Before Xilonen, imo the only use cases it had was things like Prototype Amber. Some people may say Furina C2 is great for Bennett being the team healer in the same vein as Xilonen, but Benny heals more in faster ticks and you dont lose as much moving him to a Maidens Build to maximize his healing for a Furina C0/C1. Its easy to make use of Benny as a healer for Furina without her C2, but Xilonen in comparison suffers with her 1.5s tick rate and NOT being able to be switched to Maidens because losing the 40% dmg bonus from the Natlan artifact set would be bad. There was no other unit who was a very compelling near universal healing to pair with Furina that made getting dmg bonus with Furina C0/C1 awkward enough that it would be inconsistent. Basically, Xilonen is the healer in the game that I feel gains the most from having Furina C2. Enough so that I could confidently say its probably the best archon C2 to go for. But my point in the video still stands, which was ultimately that I do not think people should go for constellations if they don't meaningfully engage with the combat nuances in Genshin and understand the specific reason they may want her C2 even after understanding they have other routes to success (like by putting 4pc Maidens on Bennett). My brother ended up getting Furina C2 last year, and despite definitely having the capability to, he basically never bothers clearing abyss. And that's fine, he just doesnt care about the combat that much--theres plenty of ways to enjoy Genshin--but because he doesnt care about it he shouldnt have gone for Furina C2 because its really only something that has relevance within the nuances of combat. I made this video for players like my brother as a reminder that for many, it is unnecessary. Its still my favorite constellation in the game, but think through why you really want it. Xilonen's existence now as of version 5.1 is just another potential reason to get Furina C2 is all. TL;DW: Furina C2 is weirdly variable in its value, to an extent wherein I think many players will not get much value from it. Hence "probably." It's a weird constellation, one of my favorite ones, even. But not necessarily to an extent that is worthwhile. Always evaluate the value of a constellation relative to what you would lose by deciding to go for it. Gotta be smart with those primos to play this game healthily, imo.
C2 is a must for me the only way to max fanfare with a single target healer is through c2, also you gain extra hp so that it allows you to switch from Hp goblet to Hydro Goblet with more room for dmg substats with her aftifacts.
Same lmao, although C2 is one of the most busted cons in the game not to mention he didn’t even reach true full fanfare as there’s FOUR thresholds for her fanfare animation. Last one is a big circle flash and I don’t think i say that pop off at all lol.
also the extra dmg for her makes things like sayu furinational viable (also if you've never tried sayu furinational please try it it's genuinely the most fun team ive played)
@anhao2237 a team consisting of sayu, furina, bennett and xiangling. sayu is used as the on fielder to swirl hydro and pyro so that both xiangling and furina do massive damage, she also provides healing for furina and also does pretty decent damage herself if you're like me and you build her with crit. also the fact she's so fast allows u to spin around the enemy, so that xiangling's pyronado hits way more often in single target situations
Even Neuvillette with Prototype Amber is great enough for healing! I regularly used Neuvillette + C2 Furina + Raiden + Nahida in a hyperbloom team, and it deleted everything in its path! Arguably, the most OP team. I have C6 Furina now, so I can experiment with any team.
Ppl pull Furina's c2 not for her personal dmg, it have better buffer capabilities, easier to gain full stacks on her burst and more elemental dmg bonus buff
In hindsight, rather than the relative dmg increase staement I made, I shouldve just said Furinas kit shines the most in teams where she is not used as a big dmg unit, imo. Its a pretty vast oversimplification to say Furina C2 is a 50% dmg increase though, as Im pretty sure that number comes from treating it as if you get the max 140% HP bonus on her immediately, which is not the case (ever). Its a buildup still, and is tied to how much you can drain/gain HP (it does NOT count over healing, notably). Hence I think in the numerous possible teams Furina can be used in, 20% is a more realistic expectation. But Furina C2 is weirdly variable, as mentioned in the video lol. Depending on what you do with Furina and how much you like her it may be worthwhile, but I always recommend people evaluate based on the value of getting entirely new characters to play vs a dmg increase for existing ones. As an aside, the _potential_ the dmg increase it gives is why Ive often run an atk goblet on Furina, or a higher ER build than necessary, in order to balance out her dps for my videos so its closer to a C0 Furina and the results I have are more approachable for more players. But thats just for my videos and not relevant to most players lol
@@Solunerra Can't you reach 800 stacks instantly with C2 Furina, starting with 50% HP? 50% HP healed x 4 characters x 3.5 C2 multiplier + 150 stacks from C1 = 850 stacks total.

C3 does make the relative value of C2 higher, since C3 vs C1 can now be 125% frontloaded dmg bonus vs C2. (Edit: C1 enables easy 87.5% dmg% immediately frontloaded, C2 enables 100%, and C3 enables 125% in conjunction with C2) But I was specifically speaking more from my personal experience using Furina C2 of course, I do not have C3 and dont intend to get it.
As a fellow C3 haver I now sit with the tough choice of, A: C6 and fulfill my dream of Furina as a main DPS... Or B: Save primos for up coming Natlan characters that are most likely going to be game changing, just like how Fontaine was... (And ya bet'cha im rushing A head first!)

Like so strong that it may genuinely be worth getting C2 over time for F2P players. So maybe its a good thing they changed it to her C6 in beta lol)

C2 Furina: -can have ER sands no issue -doesn't need HP% sub stats either, so you can chase those crit% rolls => even more Furina's personal damage increase than can be calculated on paper -with C2 even first rotation on teams stacks fast (healers that are used in her teams, are used for fast frontloaded healing when her burst starts) -finally, can be used with teams with no healer (in case of emergency, take Zhongli with you=more shred and stagger resistance than a healer would bring=more damage)
Imo c1 is already a good stopping point, and alot better than most people think. Its probably one of the best first constellations in the game. She can't really maximize her dmg in a team without double hydro and teamwide healing anyway so her personal dmg aside, in terms of buffing capabilities c1 is almost as impactful as c2. An instant 150 fanfare stacks upon burst activation translates to an instant teamwide 37.5% dmg bonus (about the same as kazuha's but not restricted to an element) and instant 15% healing bonus, allowing her to work significantly better than at c0 in teams with a non teamwide healer, and in teams that have one or in teams that can max her stacks out fast through other means like Neuvillette, she basically now doubles the dmg of your entire team because of the maximum fanfare stack increase (300 to 400 = 75% to 100%) while frontloading a bit more of your dmg due to the instant 150 fanfare stacks. Basically, c1 is enough to make her noticeably stronger and wayy more flexible and any more cons is just kinda bait. (really fucking enticing bait tho, c2 still is absurdly strong and c6 basically allows her to excel in any role and not just sub dps support) All this aside tho, I still wouldn't hesitate to pull her for her c2 under normal circumstances since I got an early lucky c1 from her first banner, but I can't just ignore the rumors of a navia rerun next patch.. (I hope its not true)
I got C1 Furina without knowing how good it was just because I liked Furina and wanted to spend every last primo on her, the thing is even with just C1 the teams become so good to the point where I feel the downgrade when I switch her to another characters. one of my best investment in Genshin that I thought was useless. I sometimes use her with arlecchino with Layla and it's better than kazuha in that case
Every video that reminds me that kaveh hasn't been back in a year makes me feel special cuz i got c6 kaveh during baizhu's release. Which is both a curse and a blessing (I'm a fischl and baizhu main and both of them are C2)

You don't know how much has this video helped me I was basically fed that her C2 is broken and will instantly make you do unga bunga dmg I'll now try to get either Xianyun C1 , Yelan , Raiden or Pyro archon I like playing with different teams. And I already got Furina at 78 pity guaranteed and in the next one I again got her (really lucky) This video has really helped me made up my mind about how I should spent my primogems bec I have already wasted around 76 pulls only to get second Aquila favonia which I already got earlier from standard wish
got my Furina to C2, no regrets. Now able to use a hydro damage goblet. Also the massive increase in HP through the increased fanfare by her C2 is amazing.
from a player who's aiming at speedrunning, and attempting at shenanigans: - Furina C0 is almost always a sidegrade to Xingqiu (hyper invested Noblesse build); while she's great to help casual clears (because of ramping buff) - Furina C2 is great for speedruns, as you frontload the buffs, and can notoriously abuse it with Arlecchino and super invested Bennett Shenanigans (well farmed Instructor for instance). While for casual clears, it's about the same as said in the video. - for people playing Neuvillette Furina, probably already C0 is enough, as the clear pace is already fast enough - C2 Furina in "casual plays" is more a thing to to really buff weak units, like she already does at C0, such as Noelle. C2 Furina hugely buffs Noelle, and allow Dehya VV Vape to actually clearing abyss boss' chambers in 15/20s which isn't too shabby.
I have a similar but opposite issue. I pull Baizhu whilst attenpting to get Kaveh constellations on his release. By the time I was done, I had gotten c4 Kaveh, and c2 Baizhu. So now, Baizhu's healing is SO persistent and potent, that even with Furina actively trying to suck my team dry, they're almost always topped off, limiting the ammount of fanfare stacks I can earn. Still, they form such a powerful core that it more than makes up for it. Wish I could toggle it off at time though.
Thank you for making me think and for saving me primogems, next time it comes out I was going to bring her to c2, but now since I understand that there is an ephemeral difference I will aim to bring her to c1 and maybe I will pool the banner of her weapon.

I've had Furina since her release have been planning to get c1 and possibly c2, but c2 would deplete everything I've saved unless I got super lucky. I think I'm going to go for c1 and save whatever is leftover for those juicy pryo characters coming down the road. Thanks for a great explanation of how her c2 works.
You are forgetting one important part of C2. It allows fanfare to stack faster in teams that don't manipulate HP values quickly, which then leads you to being able to Marechaussee Hunter set on virtually any on field carry. Without it having to wait a long time for her pets to reduce the team's HP first. This opens up a lot of possibilities for future units too.
C2 is still extremely useful as a front loaded buffer for abyss, you’re able to max out extremely fast with the higher max stacks makes abyss clears faster and you’re not worrying about getting those stacks. His gameplay literally proves me correct.
He started the video off saying he doesn't regret having c2 and does say multiple times it's a good constellation. As always with 5 star constellations it's less "is it good" but "is it good enough to get instead of a whole new character to play with" Do you care about the clear time past getting 3 stars? If someone's answer to that is no that you're correct here doesn't really matter to them.
I mean yeah, I was trying to show when Furina C2 can be useful lol. I was abusing it to demonstrate the idea and show the nuance it where it is useful, while mentioning contexts where it wasn’t. Front loaded buffing is something you can do with Furina teams at C0 though lol. Thats kinda what I was saying. C1 is better for frontloaded buffing utility in more contexts. C1 (a prerequisite for C2) can get you 350/400 stacks immediately with a team wide heal, for a total 87.5% frontloaded dmg bonus, with the remaining 12.5% usually taking seconds to get the rest of (with as little as two hits from the different summons). C0 Furina in that context is 200/300 stacks immediately, for 50% dmg bonus with an additional 25% remaining. So C1 gets you to 87.5% immediately, and all C2 does is take you to 100% immediately. C1 is doing WAY more than C2 for the purpose of frontloaded buffing in normal Furina team contexts, then. Most players would notice the 37.5% difference with C0-C1 but not notice the 12.5% for C2. If you add C3 into the equation (another 25% total dmg bonus iirc), it becomes more significant. But thats not C2 lol Obviously the exact amount of fanfare will vary in practice, but Furina is someone you can get more out of through knowledge/skill expression than needing to get cons for. Dont let me stop you from getting it if you want it. Im just saying her C2 is more nuanced than most people make it out to be. Its still one of my favorite constellations in the game, but isnt necessarily “worth” getting

It’s just the extra stack gain for every HP change just speeds things along and allows you to put a hydro gob on her to squeeze even more usefulness from her kit.
Thank you! I always see video comparison of Furina C0 vs C2 like C1 and what it does doesn't even exist. I would say most people value Furina's buff more than any potential damage she could do. C2 is really on valuable when you don't run a dedicated healer, otherwise what's the point. I feel her stopping points should either be C1 or C3, C2 shouldn't really be considered a stopping point unless you value not running a healer, though most still run a healer anyways.
A team that benefita lot from the C2 is neuvilette + kazuha + zhongli because it already is the best Neuvillette team and its main weakness is how slow they are generating fanfare... here C2 will make it so that the 1st Neuvi CA is already fully buffed, while Furina will continuously gain HP for her summons, this is huge DMG. But I see your point that is how variable the value of this cons is.
Yes, I tend to use Prototype Amber instead of a better 4 star weapon on Neuvillette because I value the team wide healing he provides in that team. It also drops my energy needs to 0 and can use those stats on pure damage so it tends to perform pretty well. Can often do about 40k damage charge attack ticks in Spiral Abyss with a Prototype Amber. This is usually good enough to clear most chambers in seconds.
@@AzureDrag0n1 but if you have his signature it's not even that hard to do 70~80k with c2 furina in the team. it becomes hard to justify prototype amber. his book is INSANELY good, one of the best weapons in the game. a lot of characters can make great use of it, including klee, wanderer, yanfei, heck, even reverse vape charged attack mona and barbara. if you have neuvillette, i highly recommend his weapon. great value for the entire account. the only bad part is that you'll have to save up around 220 wishes to guarantee you'll get it 😓 but hey, it will probably happen sooner than that, then you're left with a lot of wishes to waste on whatever you want later.
@@GenshinYuppe That requires pulling on the scam weapon banner and not actually getting his weapon. You have to give up 2 or 3 characters to get his weapon.
@@AzureDrag0n1 that's worst-case scenario, and that's why i said you have to save ~200 wishes (it usually comes within 150, and you have some refunds via duplicate four stars, but~). if you don't make sure you can guarantee it, it's not even worth trying. and like i said, if you get it early, you still can get characters with the remaining wishes. honestly it comes to a point where weapons have better value than characters because they enable the ones you already have to be more viable. Also, you get weapons even when you lose 50/50, and those can be useful too. but you're not wrong, the weapon banner is pretty scummy. probably not worth on a new account, unless the other weapon in the banner is also good

As someone who was torn between C2ing her (from C0) or waiting for a Nilou rerun (leaks say 4.8) to get her and Key of Khaj-Nisut, I really needed this :') Now I'm only gonna be torn between waiting for Nilou or pulling for Splendor of Tranquil Waters %D
I'm getting c2 either way (c1 now and guaranteed) but I'm also torn between getting her signature or trying for Key again (3rd times the charm I guess, lost it twice). Especially considering the other weapon on the banner is a complete brick, just like last time. Then again we don't know who Nilou will be rerunning with. If it's Emelie her spear is also not the best, maybe for Xiangling on a burgeon team. It's an ok crit stat stick ig.

Furina C2 will make it easier to run sub-optimal healers. Even with optimal healers, her C2 will make her fanfare ramp up quicker, resulting in higher DPS. The HP increase is just a nice bonus to have.
the HP increase is a significant dps increase too. that means you can slap furina on a lvl 60 razor team and do abyss just fine because of her constant, reliable dps. true story, i did it a couple weeks ago.
I think Furina's c2 big advantage is also to enable hypercarry teams with Bennett, because without c2, you'll barely stack Fanfare in these teams. For example with Wanderer, Faruzan, Furina and Bennett team
swap bennet out for charlotte with TTDS in that case. she's actually better than bennet because of the +20% crit rate w/ cryo that wanderer has, plus team wide comfy healing, lots of particle generation and reliable cryo application to keep the talent running - plus 48% atk bonus from ttds is nice, and you get get 20% more if you use noblesse on her. but i personally use him with c6 diona instead. worse heals, but shield! shield is absolutely delicious with him. plus it allows me to use retracing bolide on him, which is a set i have infinite godly pieces for, and makes diona's shield as strong as a zhongli shield, almost
look, its not necessary but since I saw my girl getting max stacks from a burst skill of a lvl 20 charlotte, yea its kinda worth it imo. you can unironically use her on team with "poor healers" and still get max stacks and on co op, its like, 2s to get max stacks too. One of my big problems with her at c0 is how she took a big while to reach max stacks while youre doing your dps rotation so you lost potential big hits there but with c2 she just get max stacks while youre changing characters, its kinda of ridiculous. I may be extremely biased cuz I also dont like that we have to wait for Yelan's buff to do something and cuz c2 leaves you closer to c6 which is imo, very funny to use.
@@dleise not really, he said it isnt worth it if youre not taking advantage of faster stacks on teams with poor healers and Im saying it is worth it even on teams with strong healers cuz instead of waiting for her stacks, you get it basically instantly.
She CAN get max stacks for you quickly at C0/C1 though. Its a matter of how you end up using her. But yeah, as I said, unoptimal healers (which includes and unbuilt level 20 charlotte, yeah), are the main context it can be abused and can be valuable in. If you are always using her with Yelan, I can see why you notice it more since double hydro increases the relative dmg contribution of Furina too by having lower ER needs. I dont think Furina is at her best with double hydro though, but obviously different people can have different preferences for teams to use her in. Hence my argument being a wishywashy “probably maybe shouldnt get it” kind of argument
@@Solunerra I dont even have Yelan tbh, I just dont like the slowness of her buff so to me, the faster Furina can reach max, the better for the team, she is always on fav too even tho I have festering desire cuz to me she really doesnt need the extra dmg lol. The main thing about c2 imo is that she can do that even without a good aoe healer which rn we dont exactly have options that can justify their slots on the team(having to use Jean instead of Kazuha on a team or using Xianyun just for the heal and vv and ignoring her whole plunge thing as examples). I totally understand the argument because it is indeed a little less value than it seems but at the same time I would not trade her c2 for more characters at all but thats just me. Dont know how you feel about this but I really take my time being picky about who I pull for because most of the time now I prefer cons over new characters, I just dont feel the need for new gameplays that much, maybe it is the side effect of being an 1.0 player I guess.
@@Solunerra Correct me if I'm wrong, but assuming you're taking no damage outside of her skill HP drain and starting from 50% HP on the party, C0 Furina = ~4s to reach 300 stacks after full heal and skill HP drain. Under the same situation, C2 Furina can reach 800 stacks instantly. If you're starting from full HP, C0 = ~13s relying on skill HP drain alone to reach 300 stacks. C2 takes 2s to reach 300+ stacks, 3s to reach 400 stacks, and ~8s to reach 800 stacks. I think C2's value can come from its ability to quickly gain stacks when your team is at healthy levels of HP when you activate Furina's burst.
Yeah I forgot about her. Noelle is actually one of the contexts where C2 can make her more comfortable to play with Noelle as the solo healer, especially since slightly unoptimal situations can result in Noelle teams with C0 Furina getting stuck at 50% HP.
Well, it also increase Furina healing for co-op by a lot I guess. A jack of all trades who can deal dmg, team wide heal(a lot), team wide dmg buff(100% uptime), tanky, auto target, energy recharge(fav). C0 can do the same, but C2 will make everything above even better.
It is still one of the best C2 in the game on literally the strongest support character with unparalleled strength. It opens up a lot of things (hydro globet for example) and team building potential. You dont always have to slot an AOE healer in the team as long as one of your characters can do single heal (kiku/Bennett for example) or self heal (Clorinde/Neuvilette) You just cant go wrong pulling for this constellations, regardless of what characters come next.
I love your theory videos like this where you talk about specific characters you're messing around with and thinking deeply about, exactly because you think about things these ways. You challenge the initial concept the community has agreed upon, which aren't even innately wrong - C2 Furina is best version of Furina - and finds a way to think about it sideways - well, even if it's good, does it actually change how you play her to be worth getting like how constellations can change how other characters play? An easy comparison I can think of is Zhongli is good, but C2 Zhongli is better bc at C2 allows him to have 2 pillars AND co-op his shield, and these 2 things are valuable & can change how you play him [actually bother to use him in co-op with friends]. Basically longwinded way to say I love these vids, I hope you keep it up!
Here is another method for no healers. At the end of a rotation you can switch her to healing state then burst, followed by all the supports coming on filed to do their skill/burst. then at the end you can switch her back to DPS state before the on-filed character gets back. (you can still use a porotype amber) or you can consider replacing your Kazuha with Lynette. One of the greatest benefits with C2 is that she no longer takes up 2 spots on a team, which enables her to go into teams with non-fontaine characters. The true verdict is dependent on if you already have and build a few pre-fontaine characters you would like to keep using. The already have part is important, as if you don't already have them It is not recommended or efficient that you get C2 Furina in order to play that older character. The two extra guarantees would be a better time saver if you spent it on constellations of a newer DPS. For example Furina will bring a 35% team wide increase for 85% of characters in game going to C2; however, if you instead used that guarantee on getting Arlecchino her C1 and R1 she would see a 33% dmg increase in non vaporise teams in C1 and a 23% dmg increase going from R5 white tassel to sig. This is better as it would allow you to save time in one half of the abyss, so your older character can have more time to clear and use their most optimal teams(considering the tolerances for error), instead of worrying about health drain and having a different character with a different rotation to manage.
Honestly, I kinda see your point here. I already have her C1 and was planning to get her C2 this patch (especially since Im not really interested in any of the other upcoming characters), but now Im starting to doubt a bit because man, I sure would like to have Alhaithams weapon... Im just wondering if her C2 would make a bigger difference in Alhaitham hyperbloom teams that have Kuki as a healer. Since shes not team-wide and doesnt heal quite as much as other units
if want c2 it's especially good for teams where you don't have a teamwide healer (teams with bennet, kuki, diona, even neuv, any proto amber holder) the only teams where it doesn't do much are teams with characters like xianyun or jean, or other teamwide healers, but those healers generally provide less offensively than the single target healers (bennet, kuki specifically) c2 would definitely be a bigger increase to your team damage than alhaitham's weapon especially if you're only using kuki (i'm assuming your kuki can heal 25k per rotation (about 30k hp and talent level 9) you'd be able to gain 200 stacks from the drain over time and another ~ 150 assuming your characters don't have a lot of hp. but on average you'd max your fanfare at around the 9 second mark, vs with c2 it'd be about 2.5 seconds, leading to your average dmg bonus increasing by about 30-50% which IMO is better than the difference between a f2p weapon and a signature (TL:DR furina c2 > lofi in alhaitham quickbloom)
C2 is actually kinda good on Alhaitham teams because it uses Kuki who is not a very strong healer. I use Nahida on Prototype Amber with Kuki and it works fairly well with my c1 Furina but it does take a few seconds to ramp up to max fanfare. C2 also has a bigger impact for Furina herself because her stats are hard to balance when she is the sole hydro on a team. She almost can not balance her crit, hp, and energy stats without godlike artifacts. C2 lowers her hp stat requirements by a lot so you can just focus on crit and energy.
Funny how I just thought to my self about C2'ing Furina (She's C1) and then this video poped up in my reccomendations. TBH It was more about deciding If I should pull sigewinne or C2 Furina, conclusion was that I won't do any of these and save for Columbina
C2 is really flexible! That constellation enables to use her as a healer while maxing her stacks and enabling to bring a non healer character into the team. My favorite team using her as a healer is Eula Furina Shenhe & Raiden team... it just works!
I made the calculations: with prototype amber alone, in an 18 seconds rotation, trigger prototype (cast burst of the user) 4-6 seconds after casting Furina's skill. 12 seconds after Furina's skill, you will have lost 30% HP on everyone (120 stacks) and prototype will have healed for around (6.4-6.4-6.7)% HP (I'm showing the three instances, they increase because gaining fanfare stacks gives more healing). Total of 20% heal on everyone for 80 fanfare stacks. Just these 2 things already gives you 200 fanfare points out of 300. Some characters have HP drain and gain mechanics: Hu Tao can drain 30% of her actual HP (expect 25% of her total) and heal back for 10%, but this healing is increased too by 2% at 200 fanfare points (assuming burst is level 10 on Furina and Hu Tao) so she gives 35 more stacks. You're already at 59% out of the 75% dmg bonus she can give, after that it's just called get a healer (and some help). And that's c0 Furina. Other characters with self-drain mechanics are pretty much only Fontainians, so Clorinde can max it out easily, Wriothesley too, Neuvillette and Lyney. Furina c1: you still only gain 200 stacks from prototype amber and waiting 12 seconds after Furina's skill, but! You get 150 stacks to start with and the limit is increased by 100. So now you're at 350 out of 400, or 87.5% dmg bonus out of the 100% you could have. The difference is pretty much nothing so you just tell yourself that getting a full healer compared to whatever catalyst user with prototype amber is just a 12.5% more dmg bonus. If you use for example a freeze team with Mona and Furina, just give Mona prototype amber and it's gonna be perfect. No need to complicate your task when Mona does such a great job. So even with the slightest healing in the game, you should be able to get most of the fanfare stacks you need. I'm personnally trying to build some specific Hu Tao teams and no catalyst user really fits the bill, so I'm considering other options, but in most other cases there should be someone who can use a catalyst and still fit in your team, use prototype amber to free ONE! one whole spot on the bench. That doesn't prevent Furina from benefiting a LOT from this c2 constellation: where you would normally reach almost all your fanfare stacks, now you reach them all a bit sooner AND Furina gets 140% HP (21 430 extra HP at lvl 90 to be exact). Even assuming you have 2 artefacts main stat HP%, 20% more HP on substats and Key of Khaj-Nisut R1 for another 86% HP, it still remains a 40% upgrade. If you don't have that much HP, then it's 50% personal extra damage like he said, and with slower methods of healing it will be worth it because you want to reach max stacks sooner to take advantage of it, but in many cases half of your stacks will come from Furina draining HP. There's no way to "drain faster" like you can "heal faster", just like you can't slow it down, so it doesn't help that much in some cases to do it that way. Anyway, what you should remember is that getting one constellation, even to make a character 50% stronger, is equivalent to getting ONE WHOLE OTHER CHARACTER so unless you really (REALLY) know what you're doing, never pull for constellations.
If you’re c2 you should save up for c6. It’s pretty broken how versatile she is at max constellations. F2P low on primo gems then try to just stop at c1 but if you saved up for over a year like me then c6 . She is worth it! Best girl!
Honestly, I'm open to people fighting me but I don't usually would recommend constellations in 5★ characters. Unlike some 4★ characters, which the kit only feels completed with the C6, I feel that getting constellations in 5★ characters makes the game easier, and I personally prefer a new character, that can open new team compositions and thinking what could go good or not is hell of a fun. I hate that lately, specially on the 4.1, MiHoyo released characters that didn't feel completed without the first constellations, almost telling players to pull for it, but it stopped at 4.2, luckily. Perhaps that's why Sigewinne doesn't seem much fun right NOW as or 4.7. There is not much innovation in the teams she's good in, mostly can be covered with Kokomi. Hopefully they'll release in Natlan a character that has more synergy with her. Also, a BoL support characters that makes the new 4.6 set just like Marecheusse. Anyways, good luck to anyone who's pulling for either weapon, constellations or to get either Furina or Sigewinne.
i think alot of people forget how good furina's c3 is, so even if c2 furina is not as insane as some other archon c2's, its a nice qol constellation on the way to c3.

I got C2 just because now anyone will always work with her. I like diverse characters I can throw into any team and C2 means I can literally make any team INSANELY good.
I'm probably going to pull for Furina c1 (would be my first gacha 5* con) if Emillie is as meh as it seems for now. If I already had c1 I would only consider c2, like you mentioned, for enabling sub-optimal healers to work better with her and not really for any dps increase from Furina herself. I've always seen her as an enabler rather than a dps tbh

I appreciate you for this video. I've been looking for an excuse to not summon Furina's C2, because I originally (when she first came out) planned to get her to C2-C4 and stop (DPS Furina), but I also still haven't gotten Zhongli and I really need him for some of my teams. Aside from that, I deal more than enough dmg with Furina to not necessitate her C2 even despite not having an optimal main DPS, and I'm looking to save for Zhongli and the Pyro archon. Thanks to pity, I'm actually guaranteed a Zhongli now.
Her damage increase is more significant than 20%, it is about 40 on average but can be nearly 70. Her damage is so high it can outweigh some lower dps characters.
C1 is a great constellation because it provides a comfort boost, while only offering around 9% team damage. It adds a front-loaded effect for more sustained DPS. In certain team setups where the healing comes late or uses a single target healer like Bennett or Kuki, it can help to enhance their viability because there is less fanfare to build. However, this is not as significant as her C2, which greatly improves the viability of single-target healers. This is not to bash C1 it is great just not as good as it seems. C2 is also better than it seems.
Single target healers still mean the team will be more fragile. That was the main point I was making. Most players of this game do not seem to like dying or being at low HP, and utilizing C2 to its strengths requires being comfortable with the fragility at least on some of your teammates. Its a good constellation, in fact probably my favorite in the game behind Bennett C6, but that doesnt mean its worth it for everyone. Hence "probably"

Furina's teams will always require a bit of comfortability with fragile teams, that's her whole draw. The other issue is that you keep bringing up prototype amber on furina teams in this video but that isn't optimal for getting her max hp bonus with C2. Most would just use a regular healer, and that's usually better for team damage and personal damage than just a prototype amber would be.
I’ve never done or seen any calcs about it, but I’m curious to see how Furina’s C2 and the Key of Khaj Nisut could work together, maybe in a team with Alhaitham and Kuki (who both can appreciate the extra EM)
The difference is not much. My Furina has about 50k hp with Key, which provides 100 team EM. At max fanfare stacks, the HP increases to 70k, which provides 140 EM, an additional 40. However the increase in EM doesn't happen off field as you have to switch into Furina to register the higher HP. Then ts also hard to get 70k hp fast on a team with Kuki, so realistically you're only seeing 60k hp which is a 20 EM increase. Overall the difference is quite negligible
My Furina team is (c6) Layla, (c2) Charlotte, (c0 r1) Neuvillette and (c0) Furina. Charlotte isn't even on a healer build. She's there for her skill to fill in the gaps of Layla's cryo application. Edit: Additionally, i know a lot of people talk about constellation toggling mostly in context in accidentally toggling Bennett's c6, but having the ability to toggle it for like, guides and stuff would be a genuinely good thing. I have several C6 4*s and my friends (who don't) ask for build help a lot and they dont always have the same constellations i do because they just got the character or whatever- Second edit: checked my charlotte, shes c2
@@Suuuushj1 no, im fully aware of what im doing. While yes, im losing some damage, i find this team fun and it still clears abyss no problem. I dont even use furina with sub dps, shes pure healer because I dont use Charlotte's heal on this team and i dont need neuvi to start at 50% hp because he gets all the stacks for furina's burst by making his hp bounce like a rubber ball and this team instead utilizes furinas spill over healing.
@@Suuuushj1 also this utilizes Layla's c4, making up some for lost damage. Throwing an anemo character into there would actually make me slower, because I have a rotation that the most thought that goes into it is "i better not have that camera device activated."

Huh, I didn’t even think about that. I was planning on getting c1 Furina or maybe c2. I could maybe get value from c2 if I was running her with Bennett (for example in max-dps Wanderer team). However, I will pretty much always run her with Charlotte, even if there are better characters, because that’s the single situation when I choose waifu over meta. So yeah, I guess c2 is unnecessary for me. But at the end of the day, all of that probably doesn’t matter, because I might not even get c1 if I get unlucky
@@soujiokita6062 Furina’s c1 should be good. Basically, c0 burst gives 0-75% bonus dmg, while c1 gives 37.5-100% bonus dmg. Furina’s c2 does two thing: 1. You don’t need team-wide healer to get dmg bonus from Furina’s burst 2. Furina does a bit more damage If you want to run her alongside Xinyun (who’s a team wide healer), then [1.] is obsolete, while [2.] on its own isn’t that good TLDR: Furina’s c1 is worth it, while c2 is not
Thanks for this insightful video, it was exactly what I was looking for! I pulled Furina the first time around and was now considering to get one or two cons. I play her mainly with Neuvilette and that team basically already has enough damage for everything, but I do appreciate a bigger buff, also for other carries. I do not really need more Furina dmg though, so I guess I'll just go for C1.
This video wont stop me from having c2 furina, since I already have c2 furina. But I also plan to get c3 or just all in in this banner, since 4.8 (probable) banners arent that interesting
A datapoint for the interested: I usually play Bennett, Xiangling, Kazuha, and Furina. I ran seven times in three chambers each with C1 Furina, then got C2 and reran it. My times were consistently 15% faster in each chamber, and I was less likely to die. This is exactly a case that Soluna says C2 is useful for.
i got myself really lucky with c2 furina, literally 2-3 wishes each cons, and before her cons i struggled with abyss so much i couldn't even beat the the first chamber of floor 12, now with c2 i can, even tho my xiangling anx bennett are lvl 60, it also encourages me to give her fav since her cons so much dmg but encourages you to build er for since without her burst her cons means nothing, pretty cool

I think the best way to abuse furina c2 is in mono pyro with klee or liney. Since she vapes she does a bigger part of the team dps and you want a em sand. So the bonus hp wont overcap the 40k threshold. Plus you want to use bennet wich is worst at generating fanfare quickly.

Bennett's instructors build made me think of fridge teams with c6 Diona. Maybe that could be an another interesting way of utilizing Furina's c2, as shields might help with the problem of team being extra fragile without a team-wide healer.
As someone who only play nahida with neu, or in wet rock with noelle/albedo/chioir, I really plan to go for C1 furina. Her C2 is overkill for what I plan to do, but her C1 perfectly bump the need of healing% at the start of the burst stack on both of those teams. Noelle can snowball really fasterer from that, and with neuvillette, you have a better first proc of her A1. Better mass team healing = no need for team healing.
Welp. Looks like I didn't even need C1. My hyperbloom team with her and Kokomi effortlessly tore through the bottom parts of floor 12 like they were nothing. That was by far the easiest 36* I've ever had since 4.7 abyss launched.
although this isnt also the most significant boost, i do think it is still a bit valuable that your team and onfielder have more uptime of max fanfare boost with c2 compared to c1 and c0, although of course that uptime is probably less than 5 seconds for most teams
I've been saying this since her inception first banner everyone was like "yeah stop at c2" and im like "what, no? it's excessive for no reason" much rather get a teamwide healer like baizhu than microoptimise I think it makes single target healers better for furina teams by a large margin but that's about it,
Maybe it's my 250% CV Furina talking but I think you're under-valuing a couple things. First is Furina's personal damage. My C2 Furina does roughly 650k damage in a 20 second Neuvillette team rotation accounting for about 30% of the team's total damage herself. At C0 she was doing about 450k, so it was about a 10k DPS increase for the team without factoring in fanfare benefits of other party members which is really solid. Additionally, there's a lot of value in how fast she gains her fanfare stacks. Even in teams where she would've maxed the 400, with C2 she will max that 400 extremely quickly and then go beyond and increase her personal damage. Having more front-loaded damage and higher buff uptime is a major benefit and accounts for significant damage increases on other party members. Obviously it's not necessary and people shouldn't spend money they don't have when you can easily clear abyss with no constellations, just think there's more strength there. I'm also an Al Haitham main so his team with Nahida, Furina, and Kuki is his strongest and swapping for Baizhu as a teamwide healer (even if you also swap to EM Raiden for more hyperblooms) is a significant damage downgrade from Nahida, and more so if Nahida is C2+. C2 Furina really shines in this team, and it doesn't feel too squishy either.
It all depends on how you play the game and how you use the character. People tend to go "OH MAY GURD SO MUCH DMG" without actually understanding what is happening on a mechanics level in a way that allows them to actually gauge how relevant it is to how they play the game. Thats kinda all Im trying to encourage. Ive seen how a lot of people talk about and play this game, including a very significant portion of the playerbase that doesnt care about Abyss. And then I see these same people gushing over "Im gonna get [insert constellation/weapon here] with my 40000 primogems!!!!" There is a large diversity of players that approach Genshin in different ways, and I think to the majority of them, Furina C2 is not worth it. The higher relative strength of the constellation makes it more likely players get baited into pulling for it just due to community rhetoric around it being so strong. So I just want people to think a little bit more clearly about things, rather than having nonsensical reasoning justifying getting things like "well its this many %%%% more dmg" or the even worse weirdly common mindset Ive seen where people feel the need to get constellations to show their dedication to a character.
@@Solunerra I 100% agree with you on the thought process behind why people shouldn't pull for characters. There's way too much FOMO and false pretenses about dedication and "needing" constellations. If someone doesn't truly understand what they're getting I would advise they skip constellations entirely. I'm a nerd when it comes to builds and optimization so I like to look at what gets the biggest ROI for my primos for characters that I like. I always play a lot of abyss and really enjoy Genshin's combat and team-building. In my case and others that care about numbers and team comps, Furina C2 has a lot of benefits, but I will never advocate for anyone spending a lot of money or feeling pressured to get constellations or characters they don't enjoy. Personally, I'm a welkin-only player and I find that's a healthy amount just to get a steady extra stream of primos above F2P level. I don't pull for characters I don't like even if they're busted (Arlecchino) but I do get signatures/constellations when I like them and it's really impactful like Furina and Nahida.
c2 furina is amazingly good and useful tho and the hp does help bc shes a sub dps so ur gonna want her to do dmg and also buff which she does. C2 is most definitely worth it and i think ppl should get it

C2 Furina goes from "whatever" for my C4 Ayaka + Ganyu + Jean Freeze, to literally making my semi-whale Vape Neuvillette (C3R5 Sac Jade Neuvillette + C2 Kazuha + C6R5 Rightful Reward Xiangling) the most absurd thing ever. No jokes, without any food or abyss blessings, I can reach up to 360k damage per Neuvillette CA hit for 1 hit every 3 other hits. The frequency may not sound like much, but when compared to Zhongli-Neuvillette Mono Hydro (also sponsored by C2+ Furina), and Baizhu premium teams, it can be 25%-40% stronger. It's absolutely ridiculous. Not that I wouldn't get her C2 anyways, as I wanted the C3 for that juicy extra 24% DMG buff.
Me playing healerless and shieldless Hu Tao and shieldless Neuvillette because I find it too easy with those defensive supports You are just convincing me of getting that more so I can solely rely on neuvillette to stack up fanfare or try out other squishy teams
Also, gotta keep in mind that Natlan is just around the corner and there will be an inevitable gameplay and meta switch again, another Neuvi, Furina levels of game changing maybe, so who knows if getting Furina C2 will be a guarantee 'worth' pull rather than personal preferences, in my case, I really wanted Yelan c2 ( lost her c1) and Nahida/Nilou c2 but now I can't careless anymore because how much fun most Fontaine units are, I think I'd feel the same when I start to use a new mechanical Natlan team. Of course, if you really like the character, go for it, I'm on a very tempting spot rn with a guarantee, between Clorinde, c2 Furina and Emilie, I have 1 day lol.
Literally the only reason I want Furina C2 is because I use Key on her and I think it's funny that I can get like 200 EM on my other characters. I also plan on getting refinements on Key because it's funny. Hyperbloom dmg go brrrrrrr.
as someone who has played with c1 and c2 furina (played for about a month before activating each con) it really does make a difference in single target healer teams, like hyperbloom, teams with bennet, teams with neuv and more offensive supports, even itto teams, it makes her a character that you can slot into any team for a free 100% damage bonus and i definitely do recommend. she can trivialize the game to some extent though, (my navia went from doing 158k from skill to 254k between c0 with teamwide healer vs c2 with bennet) it has in my experience made it so that she is the best character for every single team i have. do with that what you will
@@tajfarnbach1547it's because he got the numbers wrong. I have absolutely no clue where he got that c2 is a 20 percent damage boost when that's straight up incorrect. The con on its own is about a 47 percent damage increase and when c1 is taken into account it's even more valuable.
Edit 10/13/24: Having used Xilonen for a few days, I will add that her healing works in the perfectly awkward way enough to make C2 Furina notably more valuable. Its a case of Xilonen's healing often being in the perfect middle ground of not healing quite enough or healing in just slow enough ticks that it can be really awkward to maximize dmg bonus with Furina C0/C1 and Xilonen.
Before Xilonen, imo the only use cases it had was things like Prototype Amber. Some people may say Furina C2 is great for Bennett being the team healer in the same vein as Xilonen, but Benny heals more in faster ticks and you dont lose as much moving him to a Maidens Build to maximize his healing for a Furina C0/C1. Its easy to make use of Benny as a healer for Furina without her C2, but Xilonen in comparison suffers with her 1.5s tick rate and NOT being able to be switched to Maidens because losing the 40% dmg bonus from the Natlan artifact set would be bad. There was no other unit who was a very compelling near universal healing to pair with Furina that made getting dmg bonus with Furina C0/C1 awkward enough that it would be inconsistent.
Basically, Xilonen is the healer in the game that I feel gains the most from having Furina C2. Enough so that I could confidently say its probably the best archon C2 to go for. But my point in the video still stands, which was ultimately that I do not think people should go for constellations if they don't meaningfully engage with the combat nuances in Genshin and understand the specific reason they may want her C2 even after understanding they have other routes to success (like by putting 4pc Maidens on Bennett). My brother ended up getting Furina C2 last year, and despite definitely having the capability to, he basically never bothers clearing abyss. And that's fine, he just doesnt care about the combat that much--theres plenty of ways to enjoy Genshin--but because he doesnt care about it he shouldnt have gone for Furina C2 because its really only something that has relevance within the nuances of combat. I made this video for players like my brother as a reminder that for many, it is unnecessary. Its still my favorite constellation in the game, but think through why you really want it. Xilonen's existence now as of version 5.1 is just another potential reason to get Furina C2 is all.
TL;DW: Furina C2 is weirdly variable in its value, to an extent wherein I think many players will not get much value from it. Hence "probably." It's a weird constellation, one of my favorite ones, even. But not necessarily to an extent that is worthwhile. Always evaluate the value of a constellation relative to what you would lose by deciding to go for it. Gotta be smart with those primos to play this game healthily, imo.

C2 is a must for me the only way to max fanfare with a single target healer is through c2, also you gain extra hp so that it allows you to switch from Hp goblet to Hydro Goblet with more room for dmg substats with her aftifacts.

@anhao2237 a team consisting of sayu, furina, bennett and xiangling. sayu is used as the on fielder to swirl hydro and pyro so that both xiangling and furina do massive damage, she also provides healing for furina and also does pretty decent damage herself if you're like me and you build her with crit. also the fact she's so fast allows u to spin around the enemy, so that xiangling's pyronado hits way more often in single target situations
Even Neuvillette with Prototype Amber is great enough for healing!
I regularly used Neuvillette + C2 Furina + Raiden + Nahida in a hyperbloom team, and it deleted everything in its path! Arguably, the most OP team.
I have C6 Furina now, so I can experiment with any team.

In hindsight, rather than the relative dmg increase staement I made, I shouldve just said Furinas kit shines the most in teams where she is not used as a big dmg unit, imo.
Its a pretty vast oversimplification to say Furina C2 is a 50% dmg increase though, as Im pretty sure that number comes from treating it as if you get the max 140% HP bonus on her immediately, which is not the case (ever). Its a buildup still, and is tied to how much you can drain/gain HP (it does NOT count over healing, notably). Hence I think in the numerous possible teams Furina can be used in, 20% is a more realistic expectation. But Furina C2 is weirdly variable, as mentioned in the video lol. Depending on what you do with Furina and how much you like her it may be worthwhile, but I always recommend people evaluate based on the value of getting entirely new characters to play vs a dmg increase for existing ones.
As an aside, the _potential_ the dmg increase it gives is why Ive often run an atk goblet on Furina, or a higher ER build than necessary, in order to balance out her dps for my videos so its closer to a C0 Furina and the results I have are more approachable for more players. But thats just for my videos and not relevant to most players lol

C3 does make the relative value of C2 higher, since C3 vs C1 can now be 125% frontloaded dmg bonus vs C2. (Edit: C1 enables easy 87.5% dmg% immediately frontloaded, C2 enables 100%, and C3 enables 125% in conjunction with C2)
But I was specifically speaking more from my personal experience using Furina C2 of course, I do not have C3 and dont intend to get it.
As a fellow C3 haver I now sit with the tough choice of, A: C6 and fulfill my dream of Furina as a main DPS... Or B: Save primos for up coming Natlan characters that are most likely going to be game changing, just like how Fontaine was... (And ya bet'cha im rushing A head first!)

C2 Furina:
-can have ER sands no issue
-doesn't need HP% sub stats either, so you can chase those crit% rolls => even more Furina's personal damage increase than can be calculated on paper
-with C2 even first rotation on teams stacks fast (healers that are used in her teams, are used for fast frontloaded healing when her burst starts)
-finally, can be used with teams with no healer (in case of emergency, take Zhongli with you=more shred and stagger resistance than a healer would bring=more damage)
Imo c1 is already a good stopping point, and alot better than most people think. Its probably one of the best first constellations in the game. She can't really maximize her dmg in a team without double hydro and teamwide healing anyway so her personal dmg aside, in terms of buffing capabilities c1 is almost as impactful as c2.
An instant 150 fanfare stacks upon burst activation translates to an instant teamwide 37.5% dmg bonus (about the same as kazuha's but not restricted to an element) and instant 15% healing bonus, allowing her to work significantly better than at c0 in teams with a non teamwide healer, and in teams that have one or in teams that can max her stacks out fast through other means like Neuvillette, she basically now doubles the dmg of your entire team because of the maximum fanfare stack increase (300 to 400 = 75% to 100%) while frontloading a bit more of your dmg due to the instant 150 fanfare stacks. Basically, c1 is enough to make her noticeably stronger and wayy more flexible and any more cons is just kinda bait. (really fucking enticing bait tho, c2 still is absurdly strong and c6 basically allows her to excel in any role and not just sub dps support)
All this aside tho, I still wouldn't hesitate to pull her for her c2 under normal circumstances since I got an early lucky c1 from her first banner, but I can't just ignore the rumors of a navia rerun next patch.. (I hope its not true)
I got C1 Furina without knowing how good it was just because I liked Furina and wanted to spend every last primo on her, the thing is even with just C1 the teams become so good to the point where I feel the downgrade when I switch her to another characters. one of my best investment in Genshin that I thought was useless.
I sometimes use her with arlecchino with Layla and it's better than kazuha in that case

got my Furina to C2, no regrets. Now able to use a hydro damage goblet. Also the massive increase in HP through the increased fanfare by her C2 is amazing.
from a player who's aiming at speedrunning, and attempting at shenanigans:
- Furina C0 is almost always a sidegrade to Xingqiu (hyper invested Noblesse build); while she's great to help casual clears (because of ramping buff)
- Furina C2 is great for speedruns, as you frontload the buffs, and can notoriously abuse it with Arlecchino and super invested Bennett Shenanigans (well farmed Instructor for instance). While for casual clears, it's about the same as said in the video.
- for people playing Neuvillette Furina, probably already C0 is enough, as the clear pace is already fast enough
- C2 Furina in "casual plays" is more a thing to to really buff weak units, like she already does at C0, such as Noelle.
C2 Furina hugely buffs Noelle, and allow Dehya VV Vape to actually clearing abyss boss' chambers in 15/20s which isn't too shabby.
As a fellow C2 Furina, C4 Ayaka, C2 Arle main, pairing these 3 with Benny boi clears anything in Ayaka's burst window.

I have a similar but opposite issue. I pull Baizhu whilst attenpting to get Kaveh constellations on his release.
By the time I was done, I had gotten c4 Kaveh, and c2 Baizhu.
So now, Baizhu's healing is SO persistent and potent, that even with Furina actively trying to suck my team dry, they're almost always topped off, limiting the ammount of fanfare stacks I can earn. Still, they form such a powerful core that it more than makes up for it. Wish I could toggle it off at time though.
Thank you for making me think and for saving me primogems, next time it comes out I was going to bring her to c2, but now since I understand that there is an ephemeral difference I will aim to bring her to c1 and maybe I will pool the banner of her weapon.

You are forgetting one important part of C2. It allows fanfare to stack faster in teams that don't manipulate HP values quickly, which then leads you to being able to Marechaussee Hunter set on virtually any on field carry. Without it having to wait a long time for her pets to reduce the team's HP first. This opens up a lot of possibilities for future units too.

C2 is still extremely useful as a front loaded buffer for abyss, you’re able to max out extremely fast with the higher max stacks makes abyss clears faster and you’re not worrying about getting those stacks. His gameplay literally proves me correct.
He started the video off saying he doesn't regret having c2 and does say multiple times it's a good constellation.
As always with 5 star constellations it's less "is it good" but "is it good enough to get instead of a whole new character to play with"

I mean yeah, I was trying to show when Furina C2 can be useful lol. I was abusing it to demonstrate the idea and show the nuance it where it is useful, while mentioning contexts where it wasn’t.
Front loaded buffing is something you can do with Furina teams at C0 though lol. Thats kinda what I was saying. C1 is better for frontloaded buffing utility in more contexts.
C1 (a prerequisite for C2) can get you 350/400 stacks immediately with a team wide heal, for a total 87.5% frontloaded dmg bonus, with the remaining 12.5% usually taking seconds to get the rest of (with as little as two hits from the different summons). C0 Furina in that context is 200/300 stacks immediately, for 50% dmg bonus with an additional 25% remaining. So C1 gets you to 87.5% immediately, and all C2 does is take you to 100% immediately. C1 is doing WAY more than C2 for the purpose of frontloaded buffing in normal Furina team contexts, then. Most players would notice the 37.5% difference with C0-C1 but not notice the 12.5% for C2. If you add C3 into the equation (another 25% total dmg bonus iirc), it becomes more significant. But thats not C2 lol
Obviously the exact amount of fanfare will vary in practice, but Furina is someone you can get more out of through knowledge/skill expression than needing to get cons for. Dont let me stop you from getting it if you want it. Im just saying her C2 is more nuanced than most people make it out to be. Its still one of my favorite constellations in the game, but isnt necessarily “worth” getting

It’s just the extra stack gain for every HP change just speeds things along and allows you to put a hydro gob on her to squeeze even more usefulness from her kit.

Thank you! I always see video comparison of Furina C0 vs C2 like C1 and what it does doesn't even exist. I would say most people value Furina's buff more than any potential damage she could do. C2 is really on valuable when you don't run a dedicated healer, otherwise what's the point. I feel her stopping points should either be C1 or C3, C2 shouldn't really be considered a stopping point unless you value not running a healer, though most still run a healer anyways.
A team that benefita lot from the C2 is neuvilette + kazuha + zhongli because it already is the best Neuvillette team and its main weakness is how slow they are generating fanfare... here C2 will make it so that the 1st Neuvi CA is already fully buffed, while Furina will continuously gain HP for her summons, this is huge DMG. But I see your point that is how variable the value of this cons is.
Yes, I tend to use Prototype Amber instead of a better 4 star weapon on Neuvillette because I value the team wide healing he provides in that team. It also drops my energy needs to 0 and can use those stats on pure damage so it tends to perform pretty well. Can often do about 40k damage charge attack ticks in Spiral Abyss with a Prototype Amber. This is usually good enough to clear most chambers in seconds.
@@AzureDrag0n1 but if you have his signature it's not even that hard to do 70~80k with c2 furina in the team. it becomes hard to justify prototype amber. his book is INSANELY good, one of the best weapons in the game. a lot of characters can make great use of it, including klee, wanderer, yanfei, heck, even reverse vape charged attack mona and barbara. if you have neuvillette, i highly recommend his weapon. great value for the entire account. the only bad part is that you'll have to save up around 220 wishes to guarantee you'll get it 😓 but hey, it will probably happen sooner than that, then you're left with a lot of wishes to waste on whatever you want later.
@@GenshinYuppe That requires pulling on the scam weapon banner and not actually getting his weapon. You have to give up 2 or 3 characters to get his weapon.
@@AzureDrag0n1 that's worst-case scenario, and that's why i said you have to save ~200 wishes (it usually comes within 150, and you have some refunds via duplicate four stars, but~). if you don't make sure you can guarantee it, it's not even worth trying. and like i said, if you get it early, you still can get characters with the remaining wishes.
honestly it comes to a point where weapons have better value than characters because they enable the ones you already have to be more viable. Also, you get weapons even when you lose 50/50, and those can be useful too.

I'm getting c2 either way (c1 now and guaranteed) but I'm also torn between getting her signature or trying for Key again (3rd times the charm I guess, lost it twice). Especially considering the other weapon on the banner is a complete brick, just like last time. Then again we don't know who Nilou will be rerunning with. If it's Emelie her spear is also not the best, maybe for Xiangling on a burgeon team. It's an ok crit stat stick ig.

Furina C2 will make it easier to run sub-optimal healers. Even with optimal healers, her C2 will make her fanfare ramp up quicker, resulting in higher DPS.
The HP increase is just a nice bonus to have.
the HP increase is a significant dps increase too. that means you can slap furina on a lvl 60 razor team and do abyss just fine because of her constant, reliable dps. true story, i did it a couple weeks ago.

I think Furina's c2 big advantage is also to enable hypercarry teams with Bennett, because without c2, you'll barely stack Fanfare in these teams. For example with Wanderer, Faruzan, Furina and Bennett team
swap bennet out for charlotte with TTDS in that case. she's actually better than bennet because of the +20% crit rate w/ cryo that wanderer has, plus team wide comfy healing, lots of particle generation and reliable cryo application to keep the talent running - plus 48% atk bonus from ttds is nice, and you get get 20% more if you use noblesse on her. but i personally use him with c6 diona instead. worse heals, but shield! shield is absolutely delicious with him. plus it allows me to use retracing bolide on him, which is a set i have infinite godly pieces for, and makes diona's shield as strong as a zhongli shield, almost

you can unironically use her on team with "poor healers" and still get max stacks and on co op, its like, 2s to get max stacks too.
One of my big problems with her at c0 is how she took a big while to reach max stacks while youre doing your dps rotation so you lost potential big hits there but with c2 she just get max stacks while youre changing characters, its kinda of ridiculous.
I may be extremely biased cuz I also dont like that we have to wait for Yelan's buff to do something and cuz c2 leaves you closer to c6 which is imo, very funny to use.

She CAN get max stacks for you quickly at C0/C1 though. Its a matter of how you end up using her. But yeah, as I said, unoptimal healers (which includes and unbuilt level 20 charlotte, yeah), are the main context it can be abused and can be valuable in. If you are always using her with Yelan, I can see why you notice it more since double hydro increases the relative dmg contribution of Furina too by having lower ER needs. I dont think Furina is at her best with double hydro though, but obviously different people can have different preferences for teams to use her in. Hence my argument being a wishywashy “probably maybe shouldnt get it” kind of argument

The main thing about c2 imo is that she can do that even without a good aoe healer which rn we dont exactly have options that can justify their slots on the team(having to use Jean instead of Kazuha on a team or using Xianyun just for the heal and vv and ignoring her whole plunge thing as examples).
I totally understand the argument because it is indeed a little less value than it seems but at the same time I would not trade her c2 for more characters at all but thats just me.
Dont know how you feel about this but I really take my time being picky about who I pull for because most of the time now I prefer cons over new characters, I just dont feel the need for new gameplays that much, maybe it is the side effect of being an 1.0 player I guess.
@@Solunerra Correct me if I'm wrong, but assuming you're taking no damage outside of her skill HP drain and starting from 50% HP on the party, C0 Furina = ~4s to reach 300 stacks after full heal and skill HP drain. Under the same situation, C2 Furina can reach 800 stacks instantly. If you're starting from full HP, C0 = ~13s relying on skill HP drain alone to reach 300 stacks. C2 takes 2s to reach 300+ stacks, 3s to reach 400 stacks, and ~8s to reach 800 stacks.
I think C2's value can come from its ability to quickly gain stacks when your team is at healthy levels of HP when you activate Furina's burst.
Personally, I think after watching this video I want it even more as I usually use her with me Noelle
Yeah I forgot about her. Noelle is actually one of the contexts where C2 can make her more comfortable to play with Noelle as the solo healer, especially since slightly unoptimal situations can result in Noelle teams with C0 Furina getting stuck at 50% HP.

Well, it also increase Furina healing for co-op by a lot I guess. A jack of all trades who can deal dmg, team wide heal(a lot), team wide dmg buff(100% uptime), tanky, auto target, energy recharge(fav).
C0 can do the same, but C2 will make everything above even better.
It is still one of the best C2 in the game on literally the strongest support character with unparalleled strength. It opens up a lot of things (hydro globet for example) and team building potential. You dont always have to slot an AOE healer in the team as long as one of your characters can do single heal (kiku/Bennett for example) or self heal (Clorinde/Neuvilette)
You just cant go wrong pulling for this constellations, regardless of what characters come next.

I love your theory videos like this where you talk about specific characters you're messing around with and thinking deeply about, exactly because you think about things these ways. You challenge the initial concept the community has agreed upon, which aren't even innately wrong - C2 Furina is best version of Furina - and finds a way to think about it sideways - well, even if it's good, does it actually change how you play her to be worth getting like how constellations can change how other characters play? An easy comparison I can think of is Zhongli is good, but C2 Zhongli is better bc at C2 allows him to have 2 pillars AND co-op his shield, and these 2 things are valuable & can change how you play him [actually bother to use him in co-op with friends].
Basically longwinded way to say I love these vids, I hope you keep it up!

Here is another method for no healers. At the end of a rotation you can switch her to healing state then burst, followed by all the supports coming on filed to do their skill/burst. then at the end you can switch her back to DPS state before the on-filed character gets back. (you can still use a porotype amber) or you can consider replacing your Kazuha with Lynette. One of the greatest benefits with C2 is that she no longer takes up 2 spots on a team, which enables her to go into teams with non-fontaine characters.
The true verdict is dependent on if you already have and build a few pre-fontaine characters you would like to keep using. The already have part is important, as if you don't already have them It is not recommended or efficient that you get C2 Furina in order to play that older character. The two extra guarantees would be a better time saver if you spent it on constellations of a newer DPS. For example Furina will bring a 35% team wide increase for 85% of characters in game going to C2; however, if you instead used that guarantee on getting Arlecchino her C1 and R1 she would see a 33% dmg increase in non vaporise teams in C1 and a 23% dmg increase going from R5 white tassel to sig. This is better as it would allow you to save time in one half of the abyss, so your older character can have more time to clear and use their most optimal teams(considering the tolerances for error), instead of worrying about health drain and having a different character with a different rotation to manage.
Honestly, I kinda see your point here. I already have her C1 and was planning to get her C2 this patch (especially since Im not really interested in any of the other upcoming characters), but now Im starting to doubt a bit because man, I sure would like to have Alhaithams weapon...
Im just wondering if her C2 would make a bigger difference in Alhaitham hyperbloom teams that have Kuki as a healer. Since shes not team-wide and doesnt heal quite as much as other units
if want c2 it's especially good for teams where you don't have a teamwide healer (teams with bennet, kuki, diona, even neuv, any proto amber holder) the only teams where it doesn't do much are teams with characters like xianyun or jean, or other teamwide healers, but those healers generally provide less offensively than the single target healers (bennet, kuki specifically) c2 would definitely be a bigger increase to your team damage than alhaitham's weapon especially if you're only using kuki (i'm assuming your kuki can heal 25k per rotation (about 30k hp and talent level 9) you'd be able to gain 200 stacks from the drain over time and another ~ 150 assuming your characters don't have a lot of hp. but on average you'd max your fanfare at around the 9 second mark, vs with c2 it'd be about 2.5 seconds, leading to your average dmg bonus increasing by about 30-50% which IMO is better than the difference between a f2p weapon and a signature (TL:DR furina c2 > lofi in alhaitham quickbloom)
C2 is actually kinda good on Alhaitham teams because it uses Kuki who is not a very strong healer. I use Nahida on Prototype Amber with Kuki and it works fairly well with my c1 Furina but it does take a few seconds to ramp up to max fanfare. C2 also has a bigger impact for Furina herself because her stats are hard to balance when she is the sole hydro on a team. She almost can not balance her crit, hp, and energy stats without godlike artifacts. C2 lowers her hp stat requirements by a lot so you can just focus on crit and energy.
Funny how I just thought to my self about C2'ing Furina (She's C1) and then this video poped up in my reccomendations.
TBH It was more about deciding If I should pull sigewinne or C2 Furina, conclusion was that I won't do any of these and save for Columbina
C2 is really flexible! That constellation enables to use her as a healer while maxing her stacks and enabling to bring a non healer character into the team. My favorite team using her as a healer is Eula Furina Shenhe & Raiden team... it just works!
I made the calculations: with prototype amber alone, in an 18 seconds rotation, trigger prototype (cast burst of the user) 4-6 seconds after casting Furina's skill. 12 seconds after Furina's skill, you will have lost 30% HP on everyone (120 stacks) and prototype will have healed for around (6.4-6.4-6.7)% HP (I'm showing the three instances, they increase because gaining fanfare stacks gives more healing). Total of 20% heal on everyone for 80 fanfare stacks.
Just these 2 things already gives you 200 fanfare points out of 300. Some characters have HP drain and gain mechanics: Hu Tao can drain 30% of her actual HP (expect 25% of her total) and heal back for 10%, but this healing is increased too by 2% at 200 fanfare points (assuming burst is level 10 on Furina and Hu Tao) so she gives 35 more stacks. You're already at 59% out of the 75% dmg bonus she can give, after that it's just called get a healer (and some help). And that's c0 Furina.
Other characters with self-drain mechanics are pretty much only Fontainians, so Clorinde can max it out easily, Wriothesley too, Neuvillette and Lyney.
Furina c1: you still only gain 200 stacks from prototype amber and waiting 12 seconds after Furina's skill, but! You get 150 stacks to start with and the limit is increased by 100. So now you're at 350 out of 400, or 87.5% dmg bonus out of the 100% you could have. The difference is pretty much nothing so you just tell yourself that getting a full healer compared to whatever catalyst user with prototype amber is just a 12.5% more dmg bonus. If you use for example a freeze team with Mona and Furina, just give Mona prototype amber and it's gonna be perfect. No need to complicate your task when Mona does such a great job.
So even with the slightest healing in the game, you should be able to get most of the fanfare stacks you need. I'm personnally trying to build some specific Hu Tao teams and no catalyst user really fits the bill, so I'm considering other options, but in most other cases there should be someone who can use a catalyst and still fit in your team, use prototype amber to free ONE! one whole spot on the bench.
That doesn't prevent Furina from benefiting a LOT from this c2 constellation: where you would normally reach almost all your fanfare stacks, now you reach them all a bit sooner AND Furina gets 140% HP (21 430 extra HP at lvl 90 to be exact). Even assuming you have 2 artefacts main stat HP%, 20% more HP on substats and Key of Khaj-Nisut R1 for another 86% HP, it still remains a 40% upgrade. If you don't have that much HP, then it's 50% personal extra damage like he said, and with slower methods of healing it will be worth it because you want to reach max stacks sooner to take advantage of it, but in many cases half of your stacks will come from Furina draining HP. There's no way to "drain faster" like you can "heal faster", just like you can't slow it down, so it doesn't help that much in some cases to do it that way.
Anyway, what you should remember is that getting one constellation, even to make a character 50% stronger, is equivalent to getting ONE WHOLE OTHER CHARACTER so unless you really (REALLY) know what you're doing, never pull for constellations.
If you’re c2 you should save up for c6. It’s pretty broken how versatile she is at max constellations. F2P low on primo gems then try to just stop at c1 but if you saved up for over a year like me then c6 . She is worth it! Best girl!
Yeah if you are the kind of player that can play this game for a year straight without pulling for a new character it could be achieved.
I'm just glad I got her C2 on her first banner. I can even on-field her on a team like Furina / XL / Yelan / Healer (benny, PAmber, etc)

Honestly, I'm open to people fighting me but I don't usually would recommend constellations in 5★ characters.
Unlike some 4★ characters, which the kit only feels completed with the C6, I feel that getting constellations in 5★ characters makes the game easier, and I personally prefer a new character, that can open new team compositions and thinking what could go good or not is hell of a fun.
I hate that lately, specially on the 4.1, MiHoyo released characters that didn't feel completed without the first constellations, almost telling players to pull for it, but it stopped at 4.2, luckily.
Perhaps that's why Sigewinne doesn't seem much fun right NOW as or 4.7. There is not much innovation in the teams she's good in, mostly can be covered with Kokomi. Hopefully they'll release in Natlan a character that has more synergy with her.
Also, a BoL support characters that makes the new 4.6 set just like Marecheusse.

i think alot of people forget how good furina's c3 is, so even if c2 furina is not as insane as some other archon c2's, its a nice qol constellation on the way to c3.

I got C2 just because now anyone will always work with her. I like diverse characters I can throw into any team and C2 means I can literally make any team INSANELY good.
I'm probably going to pull for Furina c1 (would be my first gacha 5* con) if Emillie is as meh as it seems for now. If I already had c1 I would only consider c2, like you mentioned, for enabling sub-optimal healers to work better with her and not really for any dps increase from Furina herself. I've always seen her as an enabler rather than a dps tbh

I appreciate you for this video. I've been looking for an excuse to not summon Furina's C2, because I originally (when she first came out) planned to get her to C2-C4 and stop (DPS Furina), but I also still haven't gotten Zhongli and I really need him for some of my teams. Aside from that, I deal more than enough dmg with Furina to not necessitate her C2 even despite not having an optimal main DPS, and I'm looking to save for Zhongli and the Pyro archon. Thanks to pity, I'm actually guaranteed a Zhongli now.
Her damage increase is more significant than 20%, it is about 40 on average but can be nearly 70. Her damage is so high it can outweigh some lower dps characters.
C1 is a great constellation because it provides a comfort boost, while only offering around 9% team damage. It adds a front-loaded effect for more sustained DPS. In certain team setups where the healing comes late or uses a single target healer like Bennett or Kuki, it can help to enhance their viability because there is less fanfare to build. However, this is not as significant as her C2, which greatly improves the viability of single-target healers. This is not to bash C1 it is great just not as good as it seems. C2 is also better than it seems.
Single target healers still mean the team will be more fragile. That was the main point I was making. Most players of this game do not seem to like dying or being at low HP, and utilizing C2 to its strengths requires being comfortable with the fragility at least on some of your teammates. Its a good constellation, in fact probably my favorite in the game behind Bennett C6, but that doesnt mean its worth it for everyone. Hence "probably"

Furina's teams will always require a bit of comfortability with fragile teams, that's her whole draw. The other issue is that you keep bringing up prototype amber on furina teams in this video but that isn't optimal for getting her max hp bonus with C2. Most would just use a regular healer, and that's usually better for team damage and personal damage than just a prototype amber would be.
I’ve never done or seen any calcs about it, but I’m curious to see how Furina’s C2 and the Key of Khaj Nisut could work together, maybe in a team with Alhaitham and Kuki (who both can appreciate the extra EM)
even at C0 this weapon is amazing on her, she stacks the weapon’s 3 hits quite fast, teams that use em benefit a lot from it
The difference is not much. My Furina has about 50k hp with Key, which provides 100 team EM. At max fanfare stacks, the HP increases to 70k, which provides 140 EM, an additional 40. However the increase in EM doesn't happen off field as you have to switch into Furina to register the higher HP. Then ts also hard to get 70k hp fast on a team with Kuki, so realistically you're only seeing 60k hp which is a 20 EM increase.
Overall the difference is quite negligible
My Furina team is (c6) Layla, (c2) Charlotte, (c0 r1) Neuvillette and (c0) Furina.
Charlotte isn't even on a healer build. She's there for her skill to fill in the gaps of Layla's cryo application.
Edit: Additionally, i know a lot of people talk about constellation toggling mostly in context in accidentally toggling Bennett's c6, but having the ability to toggle it for like, guides and stuff would be a genuinely good thing. I have several C6 4*s and my friends (who don't) ask for build help a lot and they dont always have the same constellations i do because they just got the character or whatever-

@@Suuuushj1 no, im fully aware of what im doing. While yes, im losing some damage, i find this team fun and it still clears abyss no problem. I dont even use furina with sub dps, shes pure healer because I dont use Charlotte's heal on this team and i dont need neuvi to start at 50% hp because he gets all the stacks for furina's burst by making his hp bounce like a rubber ball and this team instead utilizes furinas spill over healing.

Throwing an anemo character into there would actually make me slower, because I have a rotation that the most thought that goes into it is "i better not have that camera device activated."

Huh, I didn’t even think about that. I was planning on getting c1 Furina or maybe c2. I could maybe get value from c2 if I was running her with Bennett (for example in max-dps Wanderer team). However, I will pretty much always run her with Charlotte, even if there are better characters, because that’s the single situation when I choose waifu over meta. So yeah, I guess c2 is unnecessary for me.
But at the end of the day, all of that probably doesn’t matter, because I might not even get c1 if I get unlucky

@@soujiokita6062 Furina’s c1 should be good. Basically, c0 burst gives 0-75% bonus dmg, while c1 gives 37.5-100% bonus dmg.
Furina’s c2 does two thing:
1. You don’t need team-wide healer to get dmg bonus from Furina’s burst
2. Furina does a bit more damage
If you want to run her alongside Xinyun (who’s a team wide healer), then [1.] is obsolete, while [2.] on its own isn’t that good
TLDR: Furina’s c1 is worth it, while c2 is not

I play her mainly with Neuvilette and that team basically already has enough damage for everything, but I do appreciate a bigger buff, also for other carries. I do not really need more Furina dmg though, so I guess I'll just go for C1.

A datapoint for the interested: I usually play Bennett, Xiangling, Kazuha, and Furina. I ran seven times in three chambers each with C1 Furina, then got C2 and reran it. My times were consistently 15% faster in each chamber, and I was less likely to die. This is exactly a case that Soluna says C2 is useful for.
i got myself really lucky with c2 furina, literally 2-3 wishes each cons, and before her cons i struggled with abyss so much i couldn't even beat the the first chamber of floor 12, now with c2 i can, even tho my xiangling anx bennett are lvl 60, it also encourages me to give her fav since her cons so much dmg but encourages you to build er for since without her burst her cons means nothing, pretty cool

it has felt a bit predatory with c1's in fontaine being so strong, especially with arle she felt so bad without the c1 for me
I think the best way to abuse furina c2 is in mono pyro with klee or liney. Since she vapes she does a bigger part of the team dps and you want a em sand. So the bonus hp wont overcap the 40k threshold. Plus you want to use bennet wich is worst at generating fanfare quickly.

Bennett's instructors build made me think of fridge teams with c6 Diona. Maybe that could be an another interesting way of utilizing Furina's c2, as shields might help with the problem of team being extra fragile without a team-wide healer.

As someone who only play nahida with neu, or in wet rock with noelle/albedo/chioir, I really plan to go for C1 furina. Her C2 is overkill for what I plan to do, but her C1 perfectly bump the need of healing% at the start of the burst stack on both of those teams. Noelle can snowball really fasterer from that, and with neuvillette, you have a better first proc of her A1. Better mass team healing = no need for team healing.
After watching I will still go for c2 but won’t spend if I lose my 50/50s

Welp. Looks like I didn't even need C1. My hyperbloom team with her and Kokomi effortlessly tore through the bottom parts of floor 12 like they were nothing. That was by far the easiest 36* I've ever had since 4.7 abyss launched.

Maybe it's my 250% CV Furina talking but I think you're under-valuing a couple things. First is Furina's personal damage. My C2 Furina does roughly 650k damage in a 20 second Neuvillette team rotation accounting for about 30% of the team's total damage herself. At C0 she was doing about 450k, so it was about a 10k DPS increase for the team without factoring in fanfare benefits of other party members which is really solid.
Additionally, there's a lot of value in how fast she gains her fanfare stacks. Even in teams where she would've maxed the 400, with C2 she will max that 400 extremely quickly and then go beyond and increase her personal damage. Having more front-loaded damage and higher buff uptime is a major benefit and accounts for significant damage increases on other party members.
Obviously it's not necessary and people shouldn't spend money they don't have when you can easily clear abyss with no constellations, just think there's more strength there. I'm also an Al Haitham main so his team with Nahida, Furina, and Kuki is his strongest and swapping for Baizhu as a teamwide healer (even if you also swap to EM Raiden for more hyperblooms) is a significant damage downgrade from Nahida, and more so if Nahida is C2+. C2 Furina really shines in this team, and it doesn't feel too squishy either.
It all depends on how you play the game and how you use the character. People tend to go "OH MAY GURD SO MUCH DMG" without actually understanding what is happening on a mechanics level in a way that allows them to actually gauge how relevant it is to how they play the game. Thats kinda all Im trying to encourage. Ive seen how a lot of people talk about and play this game, including a very significant portion of the playerbase that doesnt care about Abyss. And then I see these same people gushing over "Im gonna get [insert constellation/weapon here] with my 40000 primogems!!!!" There is a large diversity of players that approach Genshin in different ways, and I think to the majority of them, Furina C2 is not worth it. The higher relative strength of the constellation makes it more likely players get baited into pulling for it just due to community rhetoric around it being so strong. So I just want people to think a little bit more clearly about things, rather than having nonsensical reasoning justifying getting things like "well its this many %%%% more dmg" or the even worse weirdly common mindset Ive seen where people feel the need to get constellations to show their dedication to a character.
@@Solunerra I 100% agree with you on the thought process behind why people shouldn't pull for characters. There's way too much FOMO and false pretenses about dedication and "needing" constellations. If someone doesn't truly understand what they're getting I would advise they skip constellations entirely.
I'm a nerd when it comes to builds and optimization so I like to look at what gets the biggest ROI for my primos for characters that I like. I always play a lot of abyss and really enjoy Genshin's combat and team-building. In my case and others that care about numbers and team comps, Furina C2 has a lot of benefits, but I will never advocate for anyone spending a lot of money or feeling pressured to get constellations or characters they don't enjoy.
Personally, I'm a welkin-only player and I find that's a healthy amount just to get a steady extra stream of primos above F2P level. I don't pull for characters I don't like even if they're busted (Arlecchino) but I do get signatures/constellations when I like them and it's really impactful like Furina and Nahida.
Funrina is a great support for my Neuvillette. She does really well now, I’m not pulling her cons. Saving for Natlan…

c2 furina is amazingly good and useful tho and the hp does help bc shes a sub dps so ur gonna want her to do dmg and also buff which she does. C2 is most definitely worth it and i think ppl should get it

C2 Furina goes from "whatever" for my C4 Ayaka + Ganyu + Jean Freeze, to literally making my semi-whale Vape Neuvillette (C3R5 Sac Jade Neuvillette + C2 Kazuha + C6R5 Rightful Reward Xiangling) the most absurd thing ever.
No jokes, without any food or abyss blessings, I can reach up to 360k damage per Neuvillette CA hit for 1 hit every 3 other hits. The frequency may not sound like much, but when compared to Zhongli-Neuvillette Mono Hydro (also sponsored by C2+ Furina), and Baizhu premium teams, it can be 25%-40% stronger. It's absolutely ridiculous.
Not that I wouldn't get her C2 anyways, as I wanted the C3 for that juicy extra 24% DMG buff.

Also, gotta keep in mind that Natlan is just around the corner and there will be an inevitable gameplay and meta switch again, another Neuvi, Furina levels of game changing maybe, so who knows if getting Furina C2 will be a guarantee 'worth' pull rather than personal preferences, in my case, I really wanted Yelan c2 ( lost her c1) and Nahida/Nilou c2 but now I can't careless anymore because how much fun most Fontaine units are, I think I'd feel the same when I start to use a new mechanical Natlan team. Of course, if you really like the character, go for it, I'm on a very tempting spot rn with a guarantee, between Clorinde, c2 Furina and Emilie, I have 1 day lol.

as someone who has played with c1 and c2 furina (played for about a month before activating each con) it really does make a difference in single target healer teams, like hyperbloom, teams with bennet, teams with neuv and more offensive supports, even itto teams, it makes her a character that you can slot into any team for a free 100% damage bonus and i definitely do recommend. she can trivialize the game to some extent though, (my navia went from doing 158k from skill to 254k between c0 with teamwide healer vs c2 with bennet) it has in my experience made it so that she is the best character for every single team i have. do with that what you will

@@tajfarnbach1547it's because he got the numbers wrong. I have absolutely no clue where he got that c2 is a 20 percent damage boost when that's straight up incorrect. The con on its own is about a 47 percent damage increase and when c1 is taken into account it's even more valuable.
