Hello there and a happy new year to you. Thx for the comment. I still recomment this particular Highlander IP-1x model for National style resonators. I still use mine in the wooden Michael Messer Blues 28 I have and play. If I cannot use a mic I still use that set up (for my ukuleles too, ony other pickups). Great amplfied tone that sound good or better on any P.A. or amp. Hope that helps. Michael Messer uses those pickups as well. There are other options like Krivo or Michael Messer pickups too, more magnetic ones which I do not use any more. All the best. Jan

Yeah higlanders are best I found sonfar for resod too - Except mics of course. But i have to say that preamp really crowns he sound. I’ve been meaning to get one so far only bought the jerry douglas aura pedal (for my square neck).
Thank you DogwithtwoBones. Mic-sound can not be beaten in my opinion too. I had an Aura 16 with Dobro and acoustic guitar/Microphone images for my older Gretsch Alligators (with fishman Donut pickups) and the images blent in the crowned the sound too. But i wanted to get rid of things and rid of too many cables and boxes... So I am really happy with the Highlander sounds so far for band gigs (Percussions and all that).

It is a L.R.Baggs Para acoustic active D.I. box... and older "classic" as far as i can ficure out
