Awesome video chief! Absolutely love seeing your content. Had me dying at 14:28 with the "DUUUUDE!" All time favorite overlanding channel, you make this stuff feel more real and less "influencer like". Keep doing what you do my man, you make this stuff so palatable and enjoyable to watch!
What shoes are you wearing?! I just put the carven exhaust on and I’m kinda regretting it. Super fun for around town but not looking forward to a long road trip with wife and baby…
Just asking this question in general for anyone that might know. Is there a cat shield system that is compatible with quality skid plates or a skid plate that can act as a cat shield? One that could do both would be sweet, maybe a product that backwoods could manufacture and sell?
Hope you don’t have to sit in your truck running much because that system will kill you with carbon monoxide, but It’s petty though, that all that matters right? Do you have children that ride in the back seat? Get one of those detectors and stick it on the ceiling.
@@bootmender I’m sorry to hear that. Please remember that this is 38 years later. Vehicles emissions have come a looooong way. This also still exits well behind the cab.
Not really sure what you mean here, but if you’re referring to the initial startup in the shop, the door was open? Even still I’m plenty safe. Appreciate the concern.
@@ArkansasOffroadno not your shop, your exhaust stops way up under your truck and if circumstances were right CARBON MONOXIDE is an orderless colorless GAS that can kill you. Next time go to a muffler shop that will welds your exhaust pipe up and extends it to the end of the bed of your truck like the law requires them to do. If you sit in deep snow or water that is up to your floorboards where are the fumes going but up. I know your from arkansaw but damm where did you go to school? My wife was a teacher at sylvan Hills middle school where they had to evacuate the school because kids were getting sick, 1991. I have been running hot rods and 4x4’s for more than 60 years now and as I stated before my brother died in Illinois sitting in his parked car running trying to stay warm.
I think it sounds pretty freaking awesome! And very cool mod!
I think so too!

Yo thanks Killian! Haha. That was the face of pure joy
That exhaust sounds really good.
I’ve got a Flowmaster FlowFX dual exhaust on my 23 TRD Off Road.
Coolest taco exhaust I've seen 💨
Thanks homie
Thanks for the video. Im sold on it. Going to put in my order!
Thank you for the great video! Just placed my order for my 23 trd offroad with the black tips. 👍
This is an amazing video. The time and effort you put into it is unbelievable. This is the best full review of this exhaust. Thank you!
Really appreciate that feedback! Definitely was a lot of work
Know of a good shop for an rclt 3.5 on a 13 dcsb?
They should make one for the 2nd gen!
Does it breathe better allowing for a cold air intake to actually be effective
I am curious but have you tried this exhaust without the resonators just to hear how it sounds ?
Sounds great!
Thanks!
excellent video. Thank you! any increase in power from getting rid of that y-pipe from factory you think?
According to AWE, there’s a slight increase in power. Much better flow. It’s fairly minimal gains, but still better than nothing.

sounds similar to my flowmaster 50 series setup.
What wheels are Thoses, looks dope set up
Any power gains?
Man, I have a Borla Type S cat back but thinking of getting this AWE exhaust. Any regrets?
Nah I absolutely love it

RCI skid plates have an option for cat guards
Good question. I don’t know if anyone in particular. I think I saw Tacoma beast advertising some from another brand recently. Maybe cali raised?
Not bad brotha 🤙🏽
Duuudddeee, the want is strong…
Next video, DIESEL SWAP!
Damn why is the intro so heavy LOL

You’re wrong
@@JamesBerkeyI don’t have to ride in that death trap. My brother died in his car in a snow storm in Illinois on January 16, 1985. Car exhaust.
