My favourite in list B is Arctic Night, then it's the Tchaikovsky and then Starry Dome. But you should choose to make a good programme with your other pieces and also with what you feel are your strengths. Good luck!
Jill it would be nice if you could tell what video recording devices you use for recording the abrsm pieces. I wish to record pieces for my exam with such visual clarity and quality of sound
Thanks for your comment! I am using 2, Rode NT5 microphones for the audio and a very average Panasonic camera for the videos. (Currently looking to upgrade this!) We put it together in Final Cut Pro. Good luck with your exam!
Personally I prefer to play A2 but it depends what you want as the performer. In A3, the slower tempo makes it harder to keep melodic lines throughout the entire piece, but in A2 the faster tempo means you need more finger dexterity and articulation. Both are good choices though!
Thanks for your comment! The mics are Rode NT5. I find that the speaker on my laptop/phone doesn't produce as good a sound quality as using a decent set of headphones. Also, my piano has recently had some work done on it, I'm sure you'll hear a difference with my latest videos :-)

For La Chevalersque(A:1) do we need to use pedal in the middle section where it is mentioned delicato?
No, you shouldn't need to use any pedal. The LH semibreves should be held with your fingers throughout each bar
I am playing A3, B something and C2.
If you choose B3 you will have the same as me
I don’t know 🤷♀️ what to choose in the b pieces. A of them seem good. I did choose Arctic Night but I feel like I have second thoughts.
Arctic night was probably my favourite, but the Tchaikovsky came a close second. Why don’t you learn 2 and then decide which one to go for later on?
