Jill Morton enjoys a highly successful career as piano soloist, chamber musician and teacher. Her performances, including a performance as soloist with the BBC Concert Orchestra on Radio 2 for Friday Night is Music Night, have taken her throughout Britain and across Europe. She is Musical Director of “Encore! Concerts for all, big and small”, a monthly concert series for preschool children and their carers to experience the thrill of live music. Jill has a successful RUclips channel showcasing the repertoire from the ABRSM and Trinity Graded exam syllabuses, and other solo piano works. She has given masterclasses at universities and specialist music schools, and is becoming recognised as a competition adjudicator. She also teaches at the Perse School in Cambridge and from September 2022, Jill will become a Principal Tutor on the Piano Teachers' Course UK.

Thank you! I really enjoyed your play. As a (adult) student myself, I think this video is the most “sensitive” and precise execution of the grade 4 pieces ❤ on the Internet. Also this is the only video that actually follows the tempo required by the exam - No idea why other videos tend to play much faster than what is required

At 3:55 I thought you would have been able to notice the typo Jill ! In bar 8b, the flat sign has been mistakenly placed in front of the E when it should be in front of the D. This should then make a perfectly harmless and charming dominant 7th chord, C7flat9 moving to F. Otherwise, your playing is beautiful.
Of course it sounded strange, but when I recorded this, the AB had not added it to their list of typos so I thought I'd better play it as written! I'm happy to see that they have now said it's wrong!

Did you spot the typo on the c7 chord in the second time bar? Abrsm made the same error when they used his piece years ago too!
Ah, yes I did think it was strange, but as they had not listed it as a typo on their website, I thought I'd better play what was written! They have now accepted that it is wrong!
