Hi Mam your perf is simply out standing and highly inspiring. Your perf is really soothing in it. Im ur frequent viewer, I passed grade 4 piano recently. Based on your perf! I'm picking the suitable piece I like for my grade 5 exam. I have picked 3 PIECES for my exam 1. Coranto or Sube Traumerei 2. Valse Sentimental 3. Settle down
Hi.. My dear friend 🤝 🤝 thank you for sharing 👍 👍 👍 I appreciate your presentation so much 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍Have a nice day to you and your family 👪 👍 👍 👍 👍
Please let me know how you did the camera angle. What kind of camera do you use? Also, what app do you use for reading music and how to flip the pages? Thanks a lot!
Your channel is absolutely brilliant Jill 👍 Well, I'm practicing "Berceuse" (F Burgmuller) & it's my favourite of the lot. Pedaling is a bit of a challenge for me as i use a 'switch pedal' for my digital piano & it's not as responsive as the grand piano pedal. When i listen to my recording it sounds sustained for most part of this piece!! Ok so i have a question for you :) For the exam, apart from the tempo, rhythm, articulation etc, do they also look for all the 'minute pedaling details' or is it okay as long as it sounds good, all is good!! 😀
Thanks for your comment! I think they want to make sure that any pedalling enhances the overall performance. If they can hear that it's being used through rests they'd mark that down, but so long as it's used with understanding and knowledge of the style you should be OK. Good luck!
You can buy a copy here shop.trinitycollege.com/shop/syllabus/Trinity-College-London-Piano-2021-2023-Grade-5/12407/398/5 I can't put up the music as it goes against copyright rules
Sorry, I've only just seen your comment! I don't know if you're still playing this piece but you basically need to pedal every new beat here. It's quite hard if you're not used to using the pedal very much.
@@jillmortonpianist Hi, I've passed Grade 5 exam already. 🙂 Thank you very much for your reply. I really like the way you played all the pieces in the video. 🙂
@@irinamishra1668 yes, you can use them. There is a new syllabus but the old syllabus pieces are on the alternative list for the new syllabus so there’s a big overlap 😃
I love that she put timestamps in the description

That's a good point! Thanks for the inputs.
Hi Jill, as someone starting soon I probably won't be able to do the exam by 2023, so should I wait for the 2024 Book?
You should have plenty of time to get this syllabus ready. If it's not ready, just get the new syllabus when it comes out and do the exam after that
Mam should l play the SUBE TRAUMERI fully in with pedal
I'm not quite sure exactly what you're asking, but yes, you can use pedal throughout this piece
Wow
Can i get the sheet music pdf ? Please

Could you please give a little advise on how to use pedal for "Süße Träumerei"?

May i know syallabus 2018 - 2020 still can use for exam in this year 2021?
Yes, it is valid until Dec 2021
Ohh. But it's written 9 pieces eBook. 2018 repertoire is included. So we can take pieces from there. I thought we can use them next year as well.

What software do you use for this setup?
Logic to record the audio and Final Cut Pro to put the videos together
Mam plz make video for tcl grade 8
That’s my plan! Will finish grade 7 first then get straight on to it 😃
👌✌👍🤝
Wow, but i am suggesting you to play slowly because i want to learn
Sorry, the aim of my channel is to provide performances of the pieces, I wasn’t wanting it to be for tutorials.
😅😅
Again not the best (basically shit)
A big salute to the great pianist. Really enjoyed .
Wow
