I love watching documentaries and your commentary and educational facts about the wildlife is great! Especially since I have never been to Europe and I am not familiar with many of the species that you document. Thank you 🙏🏻 for adding some context and data in all of your videos. It makes them very easy to watch! You are really good 👍🏻 at this!
Happy to hear that. This Bavarian forest series is more in a documentary format compared to other videos and so I appreciate the feedback on that 😊 thank you for the support!
@@PatrikInNature you’re welcome and thank you 🙏🏻 for sharing your work ! If you ever have the opportunity to record them, I would love to see a collective of Butterflies 🦋!!
@@PatrikInNature that would be wonderful! Thank you 🙏🏻 I have been noticing more and more varieties of butterflies 🦋 around me while I have been gardening 👩🌾 and I find them to be a sign 🪧 of a good healthy environment and each one has a different interest in my different types of plants 🪴 and I find them to be beautiful.
That's just amazing to hear. Butterflies and all other insects are definitely signs of a healthy environment and are very important for the whole animal food chain. You can't have birds, reptiles, amphibians, etc. without insects. I'm sure your plants offer them what they need to thrive. Great job, and keep it up! Patrik
Great video, Patrik! Love the sound of the birds chirping in the background. I also didn't know bison would always step on the same places when on snow to preserve energy!
Thank you Patrik. I enjoyed that ver much. At 00:01:35 what is the behaviour being shown there? Is it "tasting the air" for hormones or is there something else going on?
Hey, I checked your channel and I think you are doing a great job at finding and photographing the animals, so it doesn't make sense to give you a beginers advice... Just keep up the good work; be patient, and you will find them :D good luck
Oh, okay, I misunderstood you. Sorry. For the Bavarian forest NP I would recommend that you go there as early in the morning as you can. We noticed that almost all animals were active only early in the morning and then around sunset, just like in nature. During the day, there are many visitors who aren't photographers, so they make a lot of noise... Also, it might be tempting to just walk around from one enclosure to the next, but that will take a lot of time as they are pretty far apart. I think the best plan is to pick one or two animals that are near and just stick around for the morning. Then repeat that in the evening for the other two, etc., so you give them enough time to "forget" that you are there and get the best shots. Hope that helps.
Most enjoyable Patrik, thanks for sharing. Look forward to next episode.👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it Terry :) new video coming soon
Wow, what a winter wonderland!
It really was! Thanks for commenting :)
Well done, beautiful videowork 👍
Thank you very much!

Noted. If not as a standalone video, I will at least try to include them in some future video where possible 😊.

The footage is incredible as usual, well done Patrik!
Thank you, Tiago. Kind words much appreciated :D
Very interesting thanks so much! ❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
Excited for the next video! By the looks of it you ticked a bunch of species on the list!
Yes it was quite a success :) but it would still be awesome to see them in the wild one day
Great video as usual Patrik!
Thanks! :)

Thank you :) yes, very interesting. The bears do the same and probably many other animals.
Come to Slovakia too we have beautiful Nature here
I would love to :D It's definitely on my wish list. Do you recommend any specific parts/locations?
Slovak karst
Thank you, noted!

I am not sure, but it seems very similar to what the red deer stags do in the mating season :) they were also smelling each other
@@PatrikInNature yes, this is what I was thinking. I don't know when their rutting season is. Thank you for answering.
Thank you for watching :)
They are mating between August and October, so it probably wasn't that.
What should I do to see the wild animals in the national park?

@@PatrikInNature Thank you, but I asked you for information about seeing the animals in the Bavarian national park, which I wanted to learn.

@@PatrikInNature Thank you very much. Is it necessary to get permission beforehand or to meet with someone to shoot like you?
No, you can visit the park any time you want, and there is no entry fee. All the hides are available to visitors, and you don't have to book anything.
