In this wildlife photography vlog, I go into Yellowstone National Park to do grizzly bear photography, grey wolf photography, American bison photography, and moose photography. On top of photographing bison, grizzly bears, wolves, and moose, I also photograph other Yellowstone wildlife. Wildlife photography in Yellowstone is hard to beat, especially in the spring when the wildlife is active.

With your videos I'm falling asleep in Yellowstone. Because I did not see everything like you did. I love to watch everything you photograph and take videos of every beautiful place you go. Thank you
cabs are so cute! amazing.
@2:34 look at all those cameras! Awesome video capturing these interactions.
Hey, you also got to see Moose. That's great! When we were there 3 years ago, we couldn't find a one of them. And I used to see them all the time when I worked in Yellowstone during the early 1980s. We were told that the fires of 1988 took out much of their habitat and that the moose were slowly repopulating the park again. Sure hope that's the case. You've shared some great shots here, especially the Lamar Valley scenes. And the bear scene with the reflection in the water at 15:25 is amazing. Thanks for sharing!
Absolutely mesmerizing video/stills of the red dogs and cubs. The sow with the two COY in the last part of the video is just amazing; especially the cub with the light-colored face like Mom's. You have such a fabulous talent, and I feel fortunate to be able to watch your posts. Thank you!
Thank you so much, I appreciate that! Glad you enjoyed!
Absolutely wonderful video, enjoyed it so very much!
Thanks Mammaw!
Wow, Evan! Great footage! Love those little cubs!
Thanks! 🙏
Can't wait to see your next video with the wolves and the elk, love wolves. Thank you for sharing and keep em coming please
Thanks, glad you liked it! I’ll try my best to keep them coming.
Wow, absolutely incredible to be able to spend time with these awesome creatures in their environment. Hope to visit both Yellowstone and the Teton parks soon.
Just watched and loved it. The first momma grizzly and two cubs you filmed in the video, I’ve photographed myself. Also loved the footage of the wolves. Can’t wait to see the next video of the wolves taking down an elk. Good job on the video!!
Thank you!! 🙏
I love Snow. I've had the pleasure to photograph her for several years now. She, and her mom Raspberry, always a treat. Your luck is good with the animals. Well done, my friend.
Ras and Snow are such charismatic bears. Thank you, glad you enjoyed 🙏
Awesome footage! Persistence pays off. I love the photo of the bison and calf. Great job narrating and keeping the viewers captivated. Enjoy the journey!
Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed!
Great vid lov them
A trip for the ages!
Great video! I've been wanting to check out Yellowstone for a while now and your videos are giving me some familiarity of the area once I can go. 9:43 with the music timing on the cubs is super precious. It makes me hope in the future these animals can thrive and we can see more footage from you!
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed. Yellowstone is definitely worth the trip, it’s a truly special place that is just packed with wildlife. Good luck, hope you make it there one day!!
What? No R&J?😂😂
Great job as always Evan. Can’t wait to see more now that things have settled down.
Thanks Rod! 😂 not this vlog, this was before they came out. Maybe next vlog…
nice !
Just found your videos and I'm really enjoying them. I'm going to Yellowstone for the first time in October. You often mention that you hear there is a bear in a certain spot. Where do you hear that information? Thanks.
From beginning to end, worth every second of viewing! Thank you for taking the time to put this together Evan. I've always loved Yellowstone with all my being, but you help me love it even more.
Thank you Randy!
hi watts if I have 6 days in Yellowstone in winter can you help me draw up a. plausible itinerary ..ur knowledge of the park is fantastic. would like to photographs wolves , bears and birds of prey ...
Too bad she had a collar on, but it looks like you could get angles minimizing it showing. Love the bison baby images; goes to show you weather is always your friend. Great vid!
Muy buena toma
What lens was you using and did you have a 1.4 or 2X converter on it?
What month would you say is the best for highest wildlife activity
Why the music whyyy??
Was this before the floods in Yellowstone?
Yes
That was so much fun! So exciting to get to see the grizzly with cubs, and the sweet harlequin ducks. Also, super cool to know you’ll get to photograph bears in Alaska with a subscriber sometime in your future - what a magical adventure to look forward to!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed… and yes the Alaska trip should be awesome!
Beautiful videography, please delete the music!
At 14:53 what animal is he eating?
Great video man!! Incredible how many great experiences you had out in nature. I’d love to even just get a fraction of those around here 😂
Thanks man I appreciate that!! Yeah, Yellowstone is such a special place. We really are spoiled with great wildlife encounters here 😂😂
Incredible, thanks for sharing!
Wonderful videos, I will happily wander around and view your efforts. Not my preferred subject matter (birds) but I love seeing other's efforts when they are passionate about their subject. It sucks that you got robbed and your park was devastated with floods, but life goes on.
That's so cool. I could sit and watch them all day
Incredible bear and wolf footage.
Great video enjoyed it a lot. Hoping you can start putting more of them out to keep up with your plans of more videos this year. What part of the park are you working in?
Thanks! I’m gonna try my best to. I’m working at Canyon.
Nice work. Glad to see you out and about again. Enjoy the Park!
Thank you, I will!
More action than I ever saw on all my trips combined. I guess it pays to come out early in the season.
Great educational video! Excellent videography. YNP is one of my favorite places to visit, but it has been too long since my first/last visit. This brings back a lot of pleasant memories. Thanks for sharing.
Outstanding work Evan. you're crushing it!
Thanks Randy!!
We love your videos! We could be related; my maternal grandmother’s maiden name was Watts. I also have a passion for photography. As a full time nomad I have limited myself to an iPhone. I’m so jealous of your super zoom lens. That’s a game changer for sure!
wow some amazing photo's... Can't wait to get there this coming winter. Hopefully we will get some epic photos. do you have a Vblog on winter outing?
amazing work
Thank you 🙏
Amazing video well done, really makes me wonder if I ever do come back if I should visit earlier in the season, rather than autumn.
Thank you, glad you liked it! Spring is awesome, but autumn is great too. Just don’t come in July. You won’t see much of anything then.
@@wattswildlifephoto apart from loads of people lol.
Great video, but so sad, as most of the bears you got on video got killed this year. Happy you got some good videos of them. I got that sub adult boy of Obsidian's also a couple days before that fatal day and so glad I did.
Hi Watts, I was just there last week, what an amazing place. Can't wait to go back again.
Wow - great video and great website!! I enjoy your work!
Beautiful video filming! Can I ask what gear you use and how you does this?
Yellowstone is amazing. Need to spend more time in Lamar Valley next time
Love your videos. Very relaxing.
Great video ❤
I love those ducks!
What are they called again?
@@emmarichwine5545 😑😑
I want to take photos to alaska!!
Pretty dope loves it
Thanks 😊
Great video, love the choice of music.
Thanks!
We need to get rid of the wolves in Yellowstone there’s not as many bison, elk, and moose anymore
The wolves put the extremely high overpopulation of elk in check and corrected a collapsing ecosystem. Wolves saved Yellowstone’s biodiversity.
@@wattswildlifephoto ah I know where I live the wolves take out most of the elk
I've only been to Yellowstone once, and it was for only 3 days. It is a massive dream of mine to return. I love your content. Thank you for the beautiful images and inspiration!
Thanks, glad you like it!!
What size lens are you using?
500mm!
@@wattswildlifephoto Thanks man. I picked up a 600mm last year, and just upgraded to a D500. Now I just need to learn how to use it to its full potential.
@@MrFitzMonkey No problem! Good luck!
Those COTY photos are incredible
Thanks man!
From tictoc to insta to here, really glad to be following you, love your content🤙🏼
Thank you man, I appreciate that so much! 👊
