@Jason Wu Find the definition of humble. Wearing cheap stuff doesn’t make you humble. I know a lot of people earning minimum wage that are not humble
Full scholarship to NYU is so crazy. That’s a huge success.
I like that he sees a therapist.
Transportation costs are too high if he's working from home. I would take the money he's investing and pay off both his student loans and car so the interest rates aren't eating up all of his dough.
He's also eligible for Covered California to cover medical care.
Thank you for the advice!

This man and his girlfriends are a superpower couple. He mentioned how he has more than enough to cover all the expenses but his girlfriend insists otherwise, why? It’s because they both keep each other accountable and are always hustling.

This is one of my favorite episodes. I love how open he is about mental health. What an incredible example for other young people watching!! I want to see an update when he buys his property!
Thank you so much! This year🤞🏾
I love that too, mental health is too often it is not even considered let alone seen as important. That therapist money spent is probably his biggest investment into his future.
Staying on your parent's health insurance plan is smart do it as long as you can. Helps with saving income. I did that until 25.
True! Staying on until 26!
This guy hustles in life. Mad respect

Every American hustle hard becuase they live in the worst country

I appreciate how he prioritizes mental health as that is something that is often overlooked. On top of his dedication and work ethic, he will be very successful!
It’s so upsetting to hear how access to healthcare in the US is a struggle. I’ve had one experience with the system (as a foreigner) and I was shocked at many bills they send your way. I can only imagine how hard it is for families 😔
I filmed a story time/reaction video. I’ll probably upload it bc people abroad don’t realise how bad it is till they experience it 😭😭
Exactly my thought.
Well most americans have health insurance that covers a lot of the bills. Im a former cancer patient and I had bills coming my way every week. My insurance covered like 95% of my bills and I only had to pay a small amount. Not as bad as you think
We do not pay 50% taxes like other countries. You pay for healthcare but it is disguised as taxes. Just because you are used to your home country does not mean other countries are wrong.
When you sum up the entire amount you pay in other countries, the difference won't as significant. Of course, we are not comparing the US with Russia and other countries with half-nationalised health care systems.
I love that he's so transparent about the mental health aspects. Especially for POCs and even more so POCs who are male there is a large stigma around mental health and not being something you address and if you do, you don't address it openly. Money can come and go but at the end of the day you can't run away from your own mind. It's always great to make sure you care for it.
Since when is saying "black people" a bad thing??
@@TrollerzTV being that people can be a mix of multiple races instead of just assuming someone is of 1 singular race I personally chose to say POC. Especially because the topic I mentioned in my comment isn't exclusive to just black people. It is an issue that is present in many different non-anglo races thus POC. I don't say it as a means of black erasure.
Lol just say black
@@kayseacamp non Anglo races? So Latin European Slavs and celts aren’t white to you?
It’s okay to say black. Other “POC” have a different experience than blacks.
Great start in planning your retirement starting now. I'm 67, I started saving for retirement when I graduated from college at 23. I still have the first IRA I invested in. I always worked 2 or 3 jobs but still had time for fun. I also bought rental units in Los Angeles as a single person and always lived below my means. I retired last year and having the time of my life and will probably not be able to spend all my money before I die. I;m proud of your accomplishments, it is a long journey but the payoff is sweet.
In the USA, individuals living in cars due to partial homelessness result from a complex interplay of factors. High housing costs relative to income, stagnant wages, and income inequality drive this issue. Job loss, weak social support, medical expenses, evictions, and lack of affordable housing also contribute, while systemic problems and inadequate policies further perpetuate the phenomenon.
Considering the present situation, diversifying by shifting investments from real estate to financial markets or gold is recommended, despite potential future home price drops. Given prevailing mortgage rates and economic uncertainty, this move is prudent, particularly due to stricter mortgage regulations. Seeking advice from a knowledgeable independent financial advisor is advisable for those seeking guidance.
I've remained in touch with a financial analyst since the start of my business. Amid today's dynamic market, the key difficulty is pinpointing the right time to buy or sell when dealing with trending stocks - a seemingly simple task but challenging in reality. My portfolio has grown by more than $600k within just a year, and I've entrusted my advisor with the task of determining entry and exit points.
@@ThomasChai05 My partner’s been considering going the same route, could you share more info please on the advisor that guides you?
I'm guided by *Mary Onita Wier* An experienced coach with extensive financial market knowledge. While you can consider other options, her strategy has yielded positive results for me. She offers valuable insights, including entry and exit points for the securities I concentrate on.
Thank you for the information. I conducted my own research and your advisor appears to be highly skilled and knowledgeable. I've sent her an email and arranged a phone call. Her expertise is impressive, and I'm eagerly anticipating our conversation.
This dude and his girlfriend are absolutely killing it. The hustle is what drives you to always work hard and play hard. The fact that he lives so below his means and doesn't really need anything means he has a bright future ahead. Also he's more willing to buy and give to others. Love to see it.

good point
Who cares
Great idea!
Yes, thanks for saying this. They also featured a wonderful couple who, while doing great work, are nonetheless older than millennials (they were in their mid 40s). They should just feature people who manage their finances admirably and not call this millennial money anymore.
Right isn’t a 25 yr old gen z?
He's doing great especially for his age. He should probably consider paying off that car loan quickly.
Why?
@@bonkersvideos6073 knock out that interest, 1 less bill to worry about and more money for investing, saving and/or recreation. I paid off my car very early and its one of the best decisions i’ve made
@@biscaynesupercars depends on his interest rate but its pros, and cons to both. Do whats best for you.
@@Nelson-ys8pm ya thats what I’m trying to say. Mathematically low or no interest rates make sense to pay off later if you’re making more money with your investments but lets be honest, the average person doesn’t even invest let alone good investment, most people aren’t financially disciplined and again we don’t know what can negatively happen in the future so personally I’d recommend most people pay off debt 1st especially if they have more than enough in savings and investments to pay off the debt. If he paid that $5000 off today he’d completely forget about it after his next paycheck and earn that $5000 back within another 3 or 4 paychecks
I agree, and his federal student loan, he could cut out a check today for that!!

The money pie chart is interesting but is perhaps too simplistic for his situation. He runs a business, technically. Which means a lot of items can be deducted from taxes. If he is in front of the camera, for instance, clothes, grooming, etcetera can be itemized. And if he uses his living space as office, he also gets further deductions. So, the pie chart at 3:35 isn't really giving us significant information at all...

One of the best episodes so far! His parents must be so proud of him, young, smart and successful
It shocked me moving to L.A. from Florida that here even 100k isn't much. Youre basically rich in Florida if you make 150k a year.
Yeah, you need WAY more in CA to be considered well off because housing is extremely expensive and competitive. Median household income in LA is 65k, and and 30k for individuals. 100k is enough to rent a good studio/one bedroom apartment with amenities. 150k+ is needed for a median condo (600k+). 200k is needed for a median house (880k+). The people who are well off earn hundreds of thousands from jobs (300-500k/year with stock), and then millions if they have a business. Those are the people who will out-compete everyone else.
Love this content very inspiring
Guyanese in the house hello!!! Love my Guyanese people straight hustlers.
So many admirable qualities about this young man, but I particularly was impressed how he used his depression/anxiety and healthy issues as a motivation for his success. Most people would used them as excuses to fail, sit at home and sulk.

I’ve been in the production biz for several years and have worked my way up to producer. I’d like to know what production company is paying their APs 6 figures? APs typically tap out 65-75k (and that’s for all the major networks). The fact that he doubled his salary through freelancing and OT is insane!
Right?! I'm scratching my head about the six-figure as an AP.
@Hunchoz Higher than NYC? Wow. I lived in NYC for almost 5 years. Worked at the Big 3 (NBC, ABC, and CBS) and have experience as a freelancer and staff member. I made almost 70k as an AP but I was hourly and had at least 15-20 hours of OT a week. This was in 2018. I've never met an AP who made over 75k (as a base salary). By that point, they were all producers.
I live in LA too. Never seen that. But if there is a production company offering that, I’d love to know!
He also mentions we works 3 jobs in total so I think it’s his net across all 3.
He's a producer at Oprah. He's the right hand man of a billionaire.
Keep up the good work young man! By the way, I have worked at every major studio in Hollywood and have attended over 30 Academy Awards. My friend Will Packer is producing it this year. Not too many people I don’t know or work with in Hollywood. Thank God I didn’t make $150,000 at 25!
Keep up the good work and stay humble!
Proud of you man. Keep it up

No mention of that Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watch. The base models with no complications start at around $25k. Looks like his is a chrono, which would put it closer to $50k. A watch that costs more than a car is a splurge worth mentioning.
I noticed the AP as well, it might not be real because they're pretty hard to get from the boutique and grey market prices are over 50k.
No way that thing is real if he is driving a used Honda.
