UKRAINE WAR: Putin's ruse! "The Russians' plan is to surround this city!" Storm on Vuhledar!
According to state media and bloggers, Russian troops have begun to take the eastern Ukrainian town of Vuhledar. "Russian units have entered Vuhledar - the storming of the city has begun," writes the Ukrainian-born pro-Russian military blogger Yuri Podolyaka. Other pro-Russian war bloggers are also reporting on the attack. Russian state media are reporting that the city, located in the Donetsk region, has been caught in a pincer movement and that fighting is taking place to the east of the settlement. Vuhledar is considered a stronghold of resistance against the Russian invaders. The Ukrainian General Staff reports that Russia has attempted to take Ukrainian positions near Pavlivka and Vuhledar.
