Extremely rare for me to comment on youtube. Followed all your stuff. Really great to see your realistic, honest, heart on sleeve ventures. Very entertaining. I sympathise with you on how much insurance you have to pay at your age. Your enthusiasm for bikes is refreshing though and I hope it rubs off on other young riders. I was shocked at the NEC Motorcycle Live to notice that 90% of people were 50yr old plus males! I do worry for the future of motorcycling. Also great to see and hear your respect and consideration for others on green lanes. Keep up the good work.
Bryan, I am so grateful you stopped by to leave a comment here, when I said it makes my day, I really mean it... puts a smile on my face. The insurance is unfortunately just insane at the moment, but I did decide to get a brand new bike, so there we go - maybe a mistake on my part, although I am very happy. It is sad... unfortunately I think it's predominately the older generations that can actually afford it at the moment... Im not a new rider so I hate to think what a premium would be for someone just passing their test. It is a luxury. I feel extremely privileged every time I get out on the bike - keeping it is another story, sometimes that feels like an uphill battle in itself. Thanks mate - as I said, made my day.
Excellent point on respecting the Green Lanes. People forget they are classed as roads and the same rules apply. A lot of riders treat them as impromptu motocross tracks hence why so many are under threat of closure. Yes, I get that we all like to have a bit of fun but a bit of thought now and then doesnt hurt.
The subframes just need the drain holes drilling and then some cavity wax spraying inside and they won’t rust for many years. I’ve just got a set of Mitas Adventure Trail XT+ tyres (140/80-18 rear), they have fantastic reviews.
Thanks Chris, I have already had em drilled and filled. Will see how hey hold up, thanks for the tips though, really appreciated. The tyres I will be sure to check out, at the moment I am going as budget friendly as possible, hence the ones in the video. Ill go take a look at the Mitas later this eve
Good luck for your film work in Spain. You’ll be back before you know it. Will be great if you do get to the ABR next year. I’ve got my tickets and there’s hopefully a group of us that went on the tour to France back in August, also going and meeting up. Roll on the Spring and some decent riding conditions again!
I most definitely plan to be there mate, it’s just affording it at the moment… there is ALWAYS something, and given it’s Christmas, it’s just a very expensive time of year as well all know. Be great to meet there - enjoy the NEC tomorrow, look forward to hearing how it is
@ I’ll be entering the competition when I visit the ABR stand, if I win, then the tickets are yours! I’ve noticed from previous years as it gets closer to the event there are always people selling tickets who for whatever reason aren’t able to go, so you don’t really need to rush out to find the cash for them right now.
Giday, in regard to the exhaust, get some black exhaust paint, clean then paint, I did and have no issues at all now, dry just washes off and no discoloration, the sub frame just spray with ur anti rust inside, then u can then weld the open ends closed. I love my Cf mt450cc, best bikeive ever owned. Thanks for sharing 🤙💯
Thanks for this tip mate - it may well come to that over here given that it's winter! It's finding the time to do it when Im not riding, this is my main catch at the moment.
Hello have You had the software update for the throttle to smooth it ? . I really do want one of these but I commute in heavy traffic and can imagine a snatchy throttle becoming annoying
Hello! No, it’s not currently in the UK… although I’ve gotten used to it now after 1,000 miles. I’d say it’s absolutely fine off road, or at higher speeds… stop start not so much, it sadly would become annoying (at least for me)
Hi thanks very much for replying. I did see a comment on the Internet from someone in UK that paid £30 to dealer to update the software it didn't specify where though. I wonder if a VPN would fool CFMOTO into letting a Brit download the whiplash delete update.
Ive no idea! I do know changing the front sprocket to a 15t helps… and probably taking the slack out of the throttle would also help. I’ve just not had the time yet, but there are fixes to improve it
How harsh / stiff is the suspension? Everybody says its stiffer than Himalayan 450? It’s the only thing thats keeping me from buying mt insted of the himi
I mean it’s all adjustable, so I guess it depends on how you have it set up. I’ve left mine as it came out of the dealership, and it’s sweet. Splitting hairs really, but the himy Id say is a little comfier - but it’s preference as I much prefer the MT for off road. It’s nice to feel what your riding over imo
@@Papanchasonline Ive just came back from Canary Islands and rode there on a Crf300l. It was super comfy and I thought that I want something like this in my bike. Problem with the mt is that you cant do a test drive here where I live. Ive rode the himi and it was ok. Not perfect but ok and now in thorn. Mind says Himi, heart gose the MT way ;)
@@RobertMountfort you are so positive thinking,i also read somewhere that after warenty excedes motor explodes and rims fly back to china, not sure now will see
Oh no! It’s Papanchas! Thanks for the heads up on this. Also big big thank you for the coffees // beers mate... It honestly all helps to keep me going with the vlog. I’d love to send you some stickers… get onto the discord and I’ll give you a message.

This is the sad fact of the matter - oh we had some fun today. Vlog on that to come 🎅🏻
Can't believe the Europe trip was last summer....Spain next 👀❤💫
Crazy huh! Spain is calling xx
Remember, several weeks ago, you almost was baked in southern Europe. How fast the change is.
So good to hear from you Stefan. I literally had this same thought a few days ago... you really feel the seasons when you have a bike eh!

I would say the MT but of course, I am biased!

Somehow I feel this bike wont be... but we shall see. No bad reports thus far.
