WOW! My story is so similar! I noticed I was spacing out and stuff in 5th grade. Now I am in grad school and finally reached out for help. I was diagnosed with ADHD and was given adderall. On the medication I found my vision was not normal. My whole life I thought it was just my dyslexia that caused words to look jumbled. Turns out I have astigmatism!!!

Same here! When I take my adderall I get blurry vision while trying to read. If I don’t take it, I can see perfectly! Is there a proven link or correlation between blurry vision and ADHD medication?

I am not sure@@theramseyclark. My doctor said it can cause blurry vision but it shouldn't cause double vision. I have been taking it for a few months now and I am starting to think my bad vision is a mix of both the medication making me realize a preexisting conditions and the medication it self.

I have this as well, can't wait to get my new prismatic lenses. But I was told that vision therapy does not work, the results reverse in a matter of minutes.

I'm an adult going through vision therapy. I was diagnosed with ADHD late in life, and I also have vertigo. My situation is complex, but I do have convergence insufficiency. The vision therapy is making a difference. You have to do the home exercises (they don't take long), and it takes time. But the new lenses helped my vertigo right away (not completely, because it's not just my eyes, but substantially), and the exercises help my brain to focus.
Since everyone is different, My suggestion is to try it for yourself. You have to give it some months, but in my case, re-testing indicates that it's really helping. I know I can feel the difference, after I do the home exercises, especially if I wake up feeling spacey. The exercises help my brain focus any time of the day. It's a miracle, especially as I'm not a good candidate for ADHD meds. Good luck.
