My question is where did you find such and epic view of the inbound outbound tracks at union station? I have rail fanned there or near by so many times but could never find a good spot to get close enough like you did. #Jealous. And second I so glad you showed up on my hey watch this video list.
Its sad to think that most of the platforms at Union Station were built to handle a 12-16 car train. now trains average half that. I mean the Senator had 18 cars alone (including 2 dining cars).

you can see he's at the NoMa stop on the DC red line, one stop north of Union Station.
