Beautiful autoharp playing. My dad played his autoharp when I was a youngster and I have carried on his autoharp playing with my own autoharp all these 80+ years. Love it to the max. More musicians should start playing the autoharp. I'm carrying on the autoharp music by bequeathing it to my great-grandson when I say my alohas...
How wonderful that you have a plan for your autoharp to continue making music. It's an instrument that rarely gets much attention but it continues anyway. Thanks for your comment. Fran
Hi Fran - what a beautiful piece of music. I really love the tune. Fantastic playing, as usual. The guitar and autoharp blend so well. But the highlight is the joy you both got from the performance. 👏🏻👏🏻
I was just busting with the fun of watching and hearing Led's fingers flying over those strings and he was obviously having a lot of fun showing what he could do. His creativity, his ability to have an idea then turn it into music instantly, is just amazing. Fran
Robert, we can certainly agree that "Sanoe" is one for the ages. It's another one that I probably have to thank Led for bringing to my attention. Over the years of playing alongside him I've introduced to so many wonderful songs. Fran
Lush and wonderful. I like it every bit as much as the other guitar-based arrangement and performance video of same song, you both did in a home setting. Kudos! I learned to play beginner autoharp in elementary school back in Los Angeles. My Great Auntie who was also and elementary school teacher played autoharp quite regularly. A fine and under-used instrument.
Linda, one of the unexpected benefits of doing these videos has been the autoharp stories people have brought to the comments. I'm loving it! We had an autoharp here at the house many years ago, but it never found a devoted player and eventually we sold it on. I hope it found a good home and brought lots of music to another family. Fran
Thanks, it was a pleasure to capture the harp and the player. After years of frustration with his wooden harps Led is really enjoying the d'Aigle. Fran
@@franguidry I can definitely understand. My own d'Aigle carbon harp provides a sound, and playing opportunity unlike any other autoharps. Due to the flat frequency response of the carbon soundboard, you get to flavor the sound of the instrument by using playing technique. Once you get the nag of it, it is amazingly rewarding. Y9ou can hear a few pieces played this way on my own channel. I wish Led much happiness and beautiful music with this unique instrument
Chroma harp with guitar! That string instruments fit well each other! It's my first time that listen guitar with harp. You both are nice combination, I like it. I support you!
Beautiful! Also one of my favorite mele by the Queen. Now how many musicians are going to try to get their hands on a autoharp (and someone to learn from)?
You're right, it would be interesting to know if the autoharp gets a big boost from Ledward's amazing playing. I know I'm not going to try to follow him, I have enough trouble trying to catch up on guitar! Fran
Yes indeed, this is much different from our other duet of Sanoe. I'm glad you enjoyed it, I hope we can do one more video of this song with Ledward playing `ukulele. I'm sure it would be beautiful too. Fran

A beautiful performance. I really like the sound that Led gets from his d'Aigle carbon top harp.

Thank you so much, I feel fortunate to be able to add my guitar to the wonderful music created by Ledward Kaapana.

@@franguidryGreat! I'll be on the lookout for it. Mahalos.

Awesome as always :)
Thank you Jeremy. It's sure fun to see what Led comes up with on a new song or a new instrument.
