      I hate to disappoint someone who spends the time to leave such a generous comment, but I don't expect to ever pick up an autoharp, especially not when Ledward is in the room. His playing is so amazing that I can barely keep my mind on the guitar part I'm trying to play.

    I'm just flabbergasted at how he plays so many chords to complete the music which he is playing. Not just the chords, but the strings that make the sound of how the song/music is supposed to be heard. Amazing! I thoroughly enjoy watching him play the autoharp, and I make sure that the volume is up higher than it should be because I want to hear the chords he's playing distinctly. Beautiful! Mahalos for being so gifted.

      Hi, Brian. Our "arrangements" usually just flow out of the moment, with occasional looks and nods to try to communicate where we're going. We're both amazed when we end together (grin).
      Are you doing overdubs of your songs or do you have a group you record with?
      Fran

    • @brianmulholland521
      @brianmulholland521 Год назад

      @@franguidry I think you and Led are on the same wavelength musically. The arrangements do sound natural and I can notice the communication between you. It’s a gift! You can see how much you both get from playing together. Fran, I would really like to thank you for listening to my music. I’m an amateur musician with a big interest in folk and roots music. It’s what lead me to your beautiful music. I played professionally many years ago but only for friends, social gatherings and the occasional jam session now. I love recording music so all my songs are overdubs. I play all the instruments and use virtual drums if needed. I never try to record a song to sound the same as the original, it just doesn’t work for me. I record the basic song with voice and guitar and go from there. I’ll try different things and hope for the best. They never turn out how I think they will and I’m always amazed that they they usually work out!

I really enjoy playing my "old" autoharp out in the yard, catching the makai breezes to keep cool.
