    "Do you want to be 40 years old and realize you spent the entirety of your life doing something you don't really never cared about?" That's my life now. Yesterday I was 22. Today I'm 40. My passions were all buried because of bills to pay, took a job that was never supposed to be a 'career', but here I am decades later because life happened. Parents get sick, relatives die, but bills keep coming, so I kept working...
    No more. I am not going to wake up at 45 and regret another 5 years of my life. I'd rather eat ramen noodles and bologna to at least take a shot enjoying life now, instead of working in a job/career I absolutely LOATHE and never want to think about again.

      @@lijingxin6045 Its been pretty rough the learing curve of printing was longer then expected. But now my prints are finally good and been selling decent amount of shirts through IG. Even though I had 14 followers still managed $300 a week. Still not profitable as I reinvest the money into ads and buying other things to sell. But in the month was able to do $1.3k revenue. Only time will tell if I can actually make it profitable.

    • @SHA256HASH
      @SHA256HASH 4 года назад +2

      You seriously should have looked at print on demand. Don't have to worry about logistics. Only thing you have to do is design. No up front cost at all. Maybe less profits, but that's the way.

    I'm 32 years old & just decided to start a brand with a friend of mine. I remember being in High School talking about doing something together but other shit just got in the way. Too busy wasting money on other things. I even tried doing my own line in College Broke as Fuck I printed out a few shirts & crewnecks that soldout the 1st day. Everyone loved the brand but I never trademarked it or anything so I stopped and Slacked. (til this day I have people asking me about it) But yeah almost 2 years ago I became a father & that's when everything changed for me. I couldn't stand the thought of not following my dream and KHRUMS was created. The Hype isn't as big as my old brand but this time I feel much more ready & confident & IDC how well it does, I'm just glad I decided to go for it.

    This video gave me goosebumps and it made stop and think about my life for a second because it's true, you really should be doing what you love regardless of what the world says. I remember when I was in HS The Hundreds was a thing even though the brand wasn't popular in the HS I was in, some people would wear it but regardless of the fact, I used to see this shit all over social media, specially Tumblr. Even though I only owned one shirt from them because I was poor I loved loved LOVED The Hundreds but also, I'm not from the US so at that time I really wasn't up to date nor cared about what was hip and what was not, fashion, clothes, etc. I feel like if I was up to date I would've had a lot more clothes from the brand.
    I graduated HS, hell graduated College and it's like, this is just not for me anymore, I changed and so did the way I dress. I will still eventually buy The Hundreds, though, I only have one shirt from them that I bought in September of 2012, it is now 2017 and I still have that shirt I still wear it and it still looks great because of course the quality is great. Needless to say, I think the brand is very original and different from the rest of the "street wear" brands. I'm into art a little and this really is art not a clothing brand but art, I always said this and me now knowing that this is what Bobby thinks of it as well makes me respect it even more. The art for it is amazing, the dopest designs I've seen always came from The Hundreds, not Stussy, not TI$A not Obey not Diamond Supply, but The Hundreds.
    This video was very inspirational to watch, the most I've seen in years. Not sure why The Hundreds is not a trending topic like Palace and Supreme and I'm not sure if they're still a thing or not since I haven't heard from them in years and I don't keep up with things, but I whole heartedly hope this brand becomes the talk of the town everywhere again and I hope it remains in the business forever.

    I’m so happy I found this video I’m literally going through the same thing, and when he started talking about getting a job to fund the hobby by going to law school, i literally got goosebumps. Because I’m first year biology in Ontario and I had a lot of opportunities for me but after reflection of a year and realizing I will never be happy doing this I’m applying to a graphic design course and taking art classes and reading books about art and indulging my self into this life style and it has never been more liberating.

      Parents just want to make sure their kids are able to take care of themselves after their gone. Starting a venture is a risk there's no guarantee of success so naturally the parents would want their kids to pursue careers that's a sure thing that will yield job security and good pay + In South Korea entrepreneurship isn't popular, every business is run by giant companies that own everything & so people in South Korea are raised with a desire to work for one of these giant companies not compete with them or start something else which would risk you getting crushed by one of these giants.

    I’m 13yo and when i’ll be able to work I will keep my money to realize my dream, making my own af1, and some leather goods. I know that it will cost a lot of money but it’s a dream and a passion. Even if it takes me 10 years to come this project to life, I’ll wait.
