Video pro tip - when you set up a close shot of your board and get it in focus, switch the camera to Manual focus so it holds focus on your board and doesn't keep trying to get focus when you put your hand in front of it. I haven't tried snapshot mode, but maybe I'll give it a shot after watching this!
I did what you said on the video. I love the way the songs appear at the top and the Snapshots at the bottom. I have one problem when I make a change to the 2nd snapshot or any of them, It is a universal change. It makes them on every snapshot. How can I separate the snapshots? So one does not affect the other within the song?
One other tip: You can set the master volume knob to only affect the 1/4" outputs (or only digital, etc.). By default, this leaves the XLR at full output regardless of knob position and prevents any issues if the knob gets bumped.
I like to set it to control 1/4" only as I can tweak the volume at home (I plug 1/4" right into a monitor when I'm not using headphones) based on how loud I can get away with that day, but my live volume is consistent and can be controlled/padded by the sound person.

Andrew Redmond yes great tip! I actually don’t disable it because occasionally I’m playing in environments where the sound guy doesn’t understand gain and I like to have control :)

So you have the songs up the top buttons, and snapshots (Intro, Verse, Chorus) on the bottom row. Are you able to set up snapshots on both top and bottom buttons and just use bank up/down to change songs?
good tips/tricks. I agree for a live setting with no time to waste the Presets on top and Snapshots on the bottom make the most sense unless you have some crazy effects switching happening in the song and you would need too many snapshots on the Helix(not avail) to cover that song using that mode. for most this will work best. yeah for $1500 its amazing Line6 cant add some LED lights. If they added a normal USB port you could add one of those flexible LED minilight things to the back of your board (if they had a darker colored one that was adjustable)

Hey, Daniel! Is it posible to set and save a song per bank, and have more footswitches available for my snapshots? And after I have lots of songs saved in a bunch of banks, all mixed up, is it possible to easily switch banks (songs) position in order to avoid all that tapping between songs live? Thanks! I hope I was clear, haha!
Kike Marino hey! So to answer your first question.. yes. You just won’t have any pedals available without clicking to get into the snapshot. I would suggest ordering them on the computer in the order you need them. It’s a huge pain on the helix :)

Man do you really have you master volume this high up? I noticed my sounds sound super harsh and thin when I use anything above 1-2 o'clock.
