Love your reactions. A song by them that is often overlooked by reactors is “Pit of Consciousness” (live at Kiev). They absolutely crush it. Check it out when you get a chance. You WILL NOT be disappointed. Have fun.

That's their former drummer, yes. He was a substitute for the drummer before him, which broke his spine in an accident, but couldn't keep up with Jinjer's insane touring schedule.
The live in Melbourne one is pretty good, yes. The entire Melbourne show is worth watching imo.

You are quickly figuring out why Jinjer has become my all time favorite band. Saying something since I have been into Metal since 1980. The drummer here was Dmityr Kim, he was filling in until they found Vlad. He still is friends with the band and helps them in production.

Jinjer are a "once in a generation" band IMO. They are quite special and unique. Became a fan in '18 at 52. Saw and met them in Sep. '19 and was blown away. Super nice people to boot. I have all their CD's and blast them in my truck. I check out all reactions to them to see new fans born. I can't wait to see them live again in Dec.! I have my Tix! 🤘

Damn my brother, you went to the deep end of the Jinjer pool with these two songs, and you survived LOL 😆😆😆 All kidding aside, these two songs are two of the most heavy and brutal songs that Jinjer does. I think I've mentioned this before on your previous Jinjer reactions, but Pit of Conciousness is a must, both the OMV and the live version in Kiev/Kyiv are siiiiiiiiiick!!! Heck react to both of them as a double feature, you won't be disappointed, I gurantee it. Peace and as always, stay Metal my friend. 😊🤘🤘🤘🤘🎶🎶🎶🎶

7:54 You sum it up perfectly here with this band. This is exactly what I try to convey to people who haven't heard them before. There are no songs in their discography where you can say they just followed a format and were lazy about. How many bands can you say that about...maybe none???
Also, you picked the right videos here IMO. Not to say that the live versions of SSRO aren't amazing but the studio version is just so difficult for Tatiana to repeat live as the added layers in the recording provide so much more depth, intensity and tone. On the flip side, this live version of Who Is Gonna Be The One is better than the studio version vocally and instrumentally even though there's an extra guitar on the studio version.
Lastly, the current drummer Vlad joined the band I believe late 2016 early 2017 so he was not the drummer on the studio versions of either song as they were released prior to him joining. They had 4 other drummers before Vlad.

Awesome man! It´s been a while, missed your energy reacting to Jinjer! Two of their greatest bangers from a few years back, love them both! And you nailed the video choice, the amazing live performance of Who´s Gonna Be The One is a must and Sit, Stay Roll Over deserves the first listen to be this official one to fully catch the audio explosion it generates! Your stank face during the songs made the video for me, it´s how I listen to them too :) Try the really reaggae infused blend of genres that is "Judgemnt & Punishment" Tatiana One Take Vocal, it´s mezmerizing seeing her do it in one take and for some live greatness "On The Top" or "Pit Of Consciousness" both live in Kiev are a blast. Keep up that banging energy, it´s contagious!

Yeah there is a live video of Sit, Stay, Rollover in Melbourne (Alive in Melbourne 2020). Great full concert video as well. It has the best live version of I Speak Astronomy in that live concert. If you can handle "Sit, Stay, Roll Over", then you can probably handle "Ape" - it's about as heavy, but a bit more musically complex. I call it "heavy jazz". It took me a few listens to fully appreciate, and now it's among my favourites.

If you’re not familiar with Tool, check them out. They are my favorite band other than Queen. And of course I love Jinjer. Tool’s lead singer is super intelligent so as are their lyrics so I’d say to use a lyrics video. The Pot at the Download is awesome though. I recommend SO MANY songs. They are in their own genre. You’ve probably never heard anything like them. Great songs are Pneuma, 46 & 2, Vicarious, AEnema, Sober (live version from 90s), Parabola, Fear Innoculum, 7Empest, The Pot, Stinkfist, Invincible, The Grudge, Schism, Lateralus, and Jambi. The lead singers voice is something special! He has 3 bands, the other two are A Perfect Circle and Puscifer. I recommend the songs Judith (about his mom) and 3 Libras, as well as The Remedy from
Puscifer. He can do no wrong really. I love watching his interviews. He’s truly a Renaissance man. He even owns a vineyard. Some people get all of the talent! I talk about music on my Twitter page often. Follow at @Scholar_Atheist. Later!

Ah man, how do you choose what Jinjer track to do next...
The live in Kiev vids are awesome, can't go wrong there. Similarly live in Melbourne.
My personal favs are Noah (a re-imagining of his story) and Judgement and Punishment. The latter has a 'live one take' vocal performance from Tati, with the music being the studio version. It's fantastic, very very close to the studio vocal performance and you can see her effortless talent up close.
Home Back is incredible as is The Prophecy (very progressive and intense) - but definitely go for the official vids for these two to get the full effect.
Just noticed all 4 of those are on the same album, unbelievable really.

I’ve said this before but it bears repeating, I’ve never listened to metal and I’m 54 always been a punk rocker. In walks covid 19. I now am listening to wardruna, heilung for some tribal and nightwish, epica and many more symphonic metal bands non stop for a year and a half. I’ve been able to make the transition to symphonic metal easily, because the fucking talent is mind blowing and it’s not death metal where I have no idea how to begin to appreciate that part of metal. In walks jinger and I can now understand what she’s saying while she growls. WHO THE FUCK AM I 🤣🤣 the best thing is I synced my phone to my, super religious goes to church twice a week, moms car when I used it the other day. So I’m watching jinger videos on my phone at her house and all of a sudden there’s no sound. I’m like wtf is going on. Since my Bluetooth stays on all the time my mom was getting the full on satan experience of her life in her car when she left for the grocery store 🤣🤣
