Buy Dumborc receivers, they work great at the fraction of the price. Just make sure you bind your transmitter to your RX. I've bought 3 and all work as advertised.
I use those on most of my bashers. They work great. You have to bind them to the transmitter. They also have great range. Only downfall is not being waterproof
The packs that come with the receivers and a radio are fine, I’ve had a great experience with those. I’ve recently switched to a better system, and it seems to be serving me well for the time being.
Love videos that show why there are a lot of negative reviews on Amazon for products that otherwise, in the right hands, work just fine. SMH I just ordered two of these, and went to watch a video on them and got scared when I saw the title of this video... Until I watched the video and read the comments about how most people love them. LOL Thanks for making me feel better, everyone!
LOL didnt bind it. That silly mistake aside, i have had these recievers inputs stick, for no reason. Whether it be the throttle or steering servo; randomly, they stick and become unresponsive for about 3 seconds. If anyone knows why, that would be great!
If the tx is closer than 2 ft from the receiver you can have signal problems. The receiver is completely fine... You just have no idea how to use them.
look at your throttle trim. if its not in neutral some ESCs wont move if there's a signal telling it to go when it started up. and like other poeple said, try binding it.
@@RemoteUncontrolled The bind process is how the receiver knows to listen to your transmitter, and not some other transmitter. If you buy transmitter and receiver as a kit, they're already set up for you. If not, you need to hold down the bind button in the receiver for a few seconds and the LED will flash, then cycle the controls on the transmitter (with car wheels safely off the surface, or motor disconnected). The receiver light should go solid and then you're good to go.
I actually have one untested still in a bag now. May check to see what seller it came from. Both my x6 & x4 combos came from Amazon. But some receivers came from Ali-Express. The only problem I've ever had was with the instructions 🤣. But RUclips videos helped with that.
Put the controller down and step away and find another hobby cause your calling out a seller for nothing but user error I actually purchased 3 of same seller with no problems
Apart from the other commenters suggesting additional action was needed, did you really see an issue with outwith just your experience? Or is it just yours that was the problem? Just seems a bit much to bad mouth “batches” and general issues at dumbo, when it appears your only issue is a snapped aerial.
I’ve generally had a bad experience with dumbo rc, mainly the snapped antennas and then being faulty out of the box. Maybe I was a bit over dramatic and clickbaity in the title. When my dumbo stuff worked it was great, but I’ve switched to a more reliable brand, and planning to make a video on it soon
ITS A GREAT PRODUCT! DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS GUY HE OBVIOUSLY HAS NO IDEA WHAT HE IS DOING! READ THE INSTRUCTIONS AND BIND THE RECEIVER TO THE RADIO! AGAIN THIS TOOL HAS NO IDEA WHAT HE IS DOING 🤣
OMG the fukin price your paying on Amazon 😆😆😆😆 Don't wanna wait an eternity off aliexpress lol Aliexpress do 5 day delivery and they're only about $9 - £7.. Oh and by the way.. try pushing the little button on the receiver to pair it.. Or change your batteries in the radio.. i had a similar problem a while back.. Also, sometimes if you have too many receivers programmed into one radio it can play up too.. I bet all those receivers you've bought were perfectly fine.. Apart From The Price lol
You need to bind the radio to the receiver. That's why it's not communicating.
Already tried that, but thanks for the help. :)
No he never 😆
Tom it out the pack and never pressed the bind button 🤦🏼♂️

I used theae all of the time. No issues whatsoever. Just bind them correctly..

How do u bind?
Did not bind (long press on receiver) and did not calibrate ESC.
I’ll try that
Never had an issue with mine from Amazon. However I bought the 6-channel radio with a 6-channel gyro receiver included.

Gotta bind the new receiver genius
😂😂😂

my bad! :(
Been running it for six months. No problem
I ordered a motor . Having the same problem 😢

you may be right, but the antenna's coming out of the box snapped is a different story.
try to move throtle trim slowly back or forth - find where radio srarts to see esc
Good idea!
you need to bind the receiver to the transmitter
Tried that
you know theres a button you have to press 3 times to bind it right?
Yes, I have tried that, but thanks for commenting

All i did was press the button , it flashed and bam! It works
Pressed another 3 times and gyro on..
Try binding the remote to the receiver. I order these all the time and never had an issue once you bind them as well as set up gyro if applicable.
Interesting

Just installed one literary today ran it for two batteries works way better than x6f
In addition to binding the new receiver, make sure your trims are set to 0 & calibrate your ESC to the new receiver.
I have already tried that, maybe it was just bad luck.

Im having this problem. I also put fresh batteries in the transmitter, now it works fine for me.
Nice! I still have not had any success, so I switched to a new system

Buying mine from Aliexpress, they have a good refund policy.
Why don't you just delete this video? It's user error and just embarrassing surely.
