Awesome video
Loved it!! Thanks for sharing🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️
Thank you. Considered buying a $77 backdrop and this looks great!
This is such a good idea and it's so easy to make! It looks great!
Emily Leary, A Mummy Too awesome ! Glad it was helpful!
I've done this many times for my food photography. Well done. Great video!
Thanks! It's definitely one of my favorite backdrops!
Great video. I plan to try this. Will it work for other surface looks?
Reid Northrup I’m sure it would work for any contact paper.
Upgrade your photography with this easy faux marble backdrop - and for just a few bucks! Also works great for Instagram flatlays. It's easy to clean and way easier to store than a real marble slab.
I have made these before but am not using them much because when editing the photos I didn't like how much I could see the plastic canvas-like structure of the surface when zooming in. It could work if I could always make sure during the shooting that the whole surface is blurred, but that was too limiting for me.
Interesting, I've never had that problem! The surface for the contact paper I use is smooth without a canvas texture.
Good for you. :-) Mine (d-c-fix) looks really smooth, but only until I zoom in when doing the retouching before submitting the image to stock agencies.
This looks really easy and nice!😍 ...it looks like I can only find shiny marmbled paper...is that a problem when shooting?🤷🏻♀️
...also how thick is the foam? the product linked says 1.5 inches....that is more than 3 cm...??😮
I think the thickness must be all five sheets together!
The contact paper I used does have a shiny surface but it's not glossy enough to cause problems when I use it. It looks very matte in photos (just like what you see in the examples).
Weird. I was just Thinking that I need to make one if these, then I saw this!
Awesome! It will definitely take your photography to the next level!
Hi! Doesn't shine in the pictures? Because it's not matte?
You would think so but I've never had an issue with shiny spots!
