I have had problems with the carbs on my CL350 and I want you to know that in my experience you are the only one I have found on here that talks sense on these matters. I like the way you say why the work may be necessary, what you're going to do, why you are going to do it and the techniques to employ, and what the resulting improvement should be. It's the reassuring kind of thing that home mechanics want to hear. Keep up the good work sir, please.
Is that a Matthew Sweet song that opens your videos? I like it. Are you sure that's a phillips screw and not a JIS? So many of the JIS screws on my CB750 were stripped because someone before me was using a phillips head.

The jets in the CMC kit are too small in diameter - they wont seat properly, don’t try and mash them in like I did. The retainer clip should hold them in well enough
The main needle in the slide is not adjustable with slots . My SL350 has a two into one aftermarket available in the day. I think the bike ran ok when my dad had it but it had those two honda exhaust that are like $3000 to buy. So my question is on other bikes usually you have to adjust the main needle richer as the header freed up flow. Do you know if this is needed and how do you richen it up if i have to.
Okay, when pressing the first part in (#6085) I immediately destroyed it. When the replacement comes in I will just press the jet in on top of it to seat it. Word of warning, I don't know how he wacked it as hard as he did without destroying it. Don't do that.

What is the difference between #68 jet and an #70 jet ? Performance wise.😎
Haynes manual states 38 for the cb350 pilot jet, it's 35 for the cb250. Most of the other jets differ.
If the pilot jet is plugged off, what does the size# matter?
What did you clean the body with?

They often just drop in. Only at tap may be needed. Finesse.
