    I can still remember sitting in class in high school drooling over the Honda lineup brochure, with this bike in there. My dad thought the 350 was to big for me, so I got the 175. Had it for 2 years, then bought a 68 Norton Commando. Wish I still had both of them.

      Yeah I can remember when we were about 12 or 13 me and my best friend looking at that Honda brochure at all those Honda bikes from 1970 or maybe we had the 71 brochure I can't remember. They were so beautiful and we wanted them all. We had 100cc bikes at the time but I was wanting the 175 or thinking maybe even the 350. It never happened but I did get several other bikes as the years passed. Still have a VTX 1300 today. Back when the speed limit was only 60 and at some points 55 a 350 cc bike was all the bike that even a grown man needed. Times change. I get on the interstate now and if I don't go at least 80 I just about get run over.

      @@jlrutube1312 Yeah great memories. I've had 8 bikes in all since then, and now have a 87 Honda Hurricane 1000, a 04 cbr1000rr, and an 87 Yamaha RZ350. I ride them every time I can.

    • @motorcyclerewind
      @motorcyclerewind  Месяц назад +2

      You’re right about it being a 69. The main difference between the 69 & 70’s in the color of the ride covers and headlight bucket and knee pads. Common practice by dealers was to title them when they were sold. Thanks for watching.

    I had bought a new 1970 CB 350 and I notice mine did not have the rubber pad on gas tank, my air filter covers were the same color as gas tank (mine was a blue-green color). The headlight nacelle was also blue-green. I'm wondering if this could be a 1968 or 69?

    • @motorcyclerewind
      @motorcyclerewind  Месяц назад +1

      I think this one is a ‘69. They were often titled the year they were sold. Which could be the reason it had 70 under the seat. Thanks for watching.
