The funny thing is, LRAD stands for Long Range Acoustic Device, it's like a speaker that's so loud it can be heard clearly from over 2 miles away, and it's sometimes used to stop riots, using its capability to sound so incredibly loud to stop people from moving.

LRAD is now 10 years old! I remember how controversial this was because of the drop. Yes the anti climatic drop wasn’t for everyone but honestly after 10 years..this was ahead of its time! The intro is still fire and big room in general has grown on me! Huge nostalgia over this track definitely one of Knife Party’s most underrated track! Huge respect for Knife Party on how innovative they were during the early 2010’s!

It also sounded like fucking everything at this time.
The sound design on the drop is just perfect. A lot of big room got hate because it generally was low effort and had poor production quality, but this track is just massive. If you listen closely, the layering and EQing is actually pretty intricate. This isn’t your standard run of the mill big room drop.

To be fair to Knife Party this is actually a lot better than the usual generic bigroom but I will agree on the fact that bigroom all sounds very similar.
Well this track was made before Big Room was really generic. In fact, I think that this track is the father of all Big Room tracks that are made in 'triplets'

Protherus Big Room was here for some time even before this track but it gained some attention recently and lot of tracks are being produced so lot of them sound very generic. Still I don't get the hate wave that I see on every GOOD big room track nowadays. Even more than a year old track like this gets hate because of todays BRs. So sad.
Still LRAD is in my top tracks playlist after all that time :)

People complaining about the drop weren't there when this song first came out. This song first, and then animals is what kicked off big room house. This was insane and blew everyone's minds on day 1.

Imo I think this's one of the most unique tracks, think about it, this's posted in 2013 and has been every promotional mix since and is used in mixes today. I understand it's big room and it's always about the drop with big room but in this case you really have to pay close attention from the producers perspective, listen to the drop on speakers with good bass and you'll hear it. It's actually an amazing track
