I don't know why this is so but it's like this genre of sound delves into the depths of my soul, the fabric of my being and show me that I want more and can be more. According to Wiki Trance is a "form" of EDM where EDM is more broad in scope ...so technically I was incorrect in regards to what I said (just as you were) ..but when I refer to EDM I was referring to this kind of sound of EDM (big room, elctro, dutch & something along those lines) ...because this sound here in particular is not Trance, when someone listens to Armin Van Buuren ...they don't say their listening to EDM really ...they say they're listening to "Trance" ..when someone plays this type of sound that we're listening to right now well most of the times people will describe this as EDM ...so that was what I was simply "trying" to say but sense some people want to skip the whole essence of what i wrote and find fault in my technicality I figured I'd make myself a bit more clearer now. thank you sir for pointing that out to me. 2012, this tune was smack bang in the middle of an amazing era for Big Room & Progressive House, for 2 years we were blessed with anthem after anthem and banger after banger, such a fruitful, amazing time and in the blink of an eye, the sound changed. I felt that Big Room went on a mega bad slide from 2013 onwards… too many tracks sounded the same and the track structures and drops became so predictable. I remember a time when you couldn’t tell the difference between tracks classed as Big Room House, Progressive House, Electro House, Mainstage etc., it all started to sound the same and that’s ultimately when I drifted back into my first love Trance as well as growing a huge love for Techno as well as giving more time to House it’s various sub genres that I had liked prior to the 2010/11-13 era.
