That ratchet comes with it’s own cheater bar built in. They should do a complete line of these from 1/4” , 3/8”, 1/2” breaker bars also With an adjustable breaker bar.
Yes sir, I agree with you. That would be great if Matco made these as you suggested. I have this same Matco dr34t Beast Ratchet and it is beautiful and brutally tough at the same time. I love it sir. The Matco website states that the Matco dr34t has 45 teeth and can handle up to 1,575 foot pounds of torque. It’s way better than the old style ERED ratchet style. You should definitely buy the Matco dr34t, you will not be disappointed at all. 🇺🇸😎🇺🇸
Well stocked and seems like he's up on all his products, thanks for sharing
I am really surprised that some high tech companies have not invented a GPS tool tracking device from the factory so if a tool is left on a vehicle after repair the tool would show its location on a smart phone. If I was to build a tool GPS device a base station and some kind of tool sticker that tracked tools in the shop would work also.
Never thought I'd want an orange tape measure but I know why do now they're easier
I have the astro version of the Rivet nut tool. Makes those so much easier to install vs the squeeze handle type.
Hello sir great post. I have a 3/8 drive ratchet that works like that big sucker
Our shop has one. Ain't broke it yet !!
Great video Clay
Been falling behind on y'all's videos been EXTREMELY, EXTREMELY BUSY. Nice ratchet need to get one.
I'd like to try those hose pliers!
Sounds like there is a large cat purring on the Matco truck.
Now I did like them Marco Pliers Wild Bill was using in the end ( BADASS ) for sure.
I have the EZ Red in 3\4". I was hoping that one was 1\2" drive. Thank You.
How do you like that ratchet Bobby?
Richie, I purchased this ratchet from my Snap On guy around 8 years ago. It has been my go to since. I busted a tooth about 3 years ago. I took it apart and flipped it and its still in use today. Great tool for the money. It has paid for itself long ago. Thanks.
Michael has a lot of knowledge for as new as he is. I think you’ll have a good dealer for quite a while Clay!
Of all the tool trucks Matco is the one I have the hardest time understanding. They don’t make a single thing they sell except the boxes. That means you can buy everything they sell for half the money or even less. I just don’t understand how that business model survives.
Almost everything any tool truck has is rebranded
That deal on the die grinders, buy one and get one free is a great deal.I bought mine that way,buy the 90 degree and get the straight one for free.Holding up well for me and they don't spit out bits which my 90 degree King Tony M7 did although it was tight in the arbor.
You need to get you some of them strip out nut wrenches. I just got my set yesterday and they are beautiful. They are almost as long as the gearwrench 120xp rathets. I may never use them i just like buying wrenches amd ratchets may never use them but that one time i need them ill be glad i boight em. Good video
Sounds like you were purring on the truck. Lmao
How bout a video of those pinche off pliers in action ??
7:34 😂😂😂 come on Koon this part didn't age well. I'm pretty sure your take on the standard colors and these hipster colors have changed 😂
Is bill's old matco rachet going to come back as a big boy? Great demo on the matco pipe wrench
that 12 volt looks like a re branded mikita
The Matco truck looks much neater then the snap on truck the tools look better presented in packaging aswell, in all seriousness do matco compare to snap on?
Matco just rebrands their tools. Snap on makes most of their tools. No comparison between the two.
Yeah I will stick with my Snap on tools.
Jursaw that's not a good answer snap on does not without a shadow of a doubt make the best tools at least not always matco rebrands other companies and does not manufacture their own tools although I do not agree with that it's not safe to say they can't be compared to snap on some of the tools they are rebranding are comparable and sometimes better than snap on but you need to know your shit on a matco truck or you will pay $100 for a $10 tool when you could have spent that $100 on a legitimate snap on tool just know what you are buying and you will be fine
i'm currently thinking of starting a matco franchise in my area. can you possibly give me an estimate on how many $$$ on average you guys buy monthly? just tryin to figure things out, if its going to be worth it for me or not.
You gotta get a demonstration on them rivet things ( I say things cause I’m new into the trade)
Rebranded ez-red ratchet.
Jesse, do you have any experience with ez-red ratchets? I am looking for something like that one in the video.
@@rdp2370 ...I bought a 3/4 drive ez red ratchet this winter and hsve used it hard on the farm all summer. Very sturdy and works excellent!
Buy the ezred its alot stronger. have had the ezred for years and has worked awesome...bought the matco and it bent first time using it to remove a final drive plug on a d11
Clay--I noticed near the end of the video (about 11:10) that you were removing a rusty threaded stud with a pair of Matco pliers (German-made, so perhaps it was re-branded Knipex?). It was bone-dry, however (no PB Blaster or other penetrant was used), so it squeaked and fought you the whole time. I wondered why it was done that way, as some penetrating fluid would have made the job simpler, preventing damage to the internal threads of the piece you were removing it from.
We were testing those pliers (they are Knipex with a matco logo) to see how well they worked. I didn’t put penetrating oil on it to see how they grip (i told him if they pulled the stud out i would buy them) they worked with it dry so on an oiled one it would work even better. If i am going to test it i want to see what it will do.
By the way that was a junk airbag that was being replaced and tossed in the trash anyway so we just wanted to see how good the pliers grip
Bubbler sounds is annoying lol
Does the ratchet come in 1/2" and 3/4' drive?
Not sure just seen the 3/4
You could use an adapter to make it 1/2. Even harbor freight has and adapter set for cheap.
A thousand bucks worth of tools!?! Thats... thats... like a whole socket set, a medium wrench set and a couple picks! Maybe a flashlight too 😂😂 lmao
What is the part number for that plier at the end of the video?
It was in the first matco video I did 3 weeks ago
Forgot Great video.lol.
That green dead blow hammer the beginning of the movie was that an SK hammer
I don’t have an sk hammer it was probably a Wilton unbreakable
I just can't get over the fact that matco dosent manufactur a single tool they are all rebranded
That’s not correct. Their ratchets are made in their factory. I’m not sure who makes their USA made impact sockets but they’re the toughest I’ve e ver owned.
Does this mean the new M word is Mac ? 😆
are they even around anymore? I know I have one in my area, but you only see the truck every six months
Could you send me you number I am a Matco tool gut that rachet is awesome
Thanks
Matco electric impacts are junk!!!! Dont waste your money
Been running a matco 1/2 electric for the last two years it hasn’t skipped and beat and I have beat it up
