I am not an auto mechanic but I do a lot of stuff with wood and wood working. Snap on tools in the woodworking world is festool. Excellent tools at a premium price. A lot of people hate on everybody in RUclips that uses festool much like they hate on snap on. 9 times out of 10 the hate comes from jealousy
I can see the love relationship in the shop between all three of you guys.. best of health to all of you keep turning wrenches make that cash♡♡♡ Tom from New Jersey
Milwakee is such a better company for electronic tools like drills, impacts, and yes plungers as well. But Snap-on is a way better company for hand tools like wrenches, socket’s, and ratchets.
That would be pretty funny next week and see Bill coming on the truck with no bottom teeth and Wally just smiling, Wally looks like a little scrapper , got a watch out for those guys 😁
Looks are deceiving! Clay and I have to play big brother to Wally! You could say Boo and poor Wally will be curled up in a fetal position under the table sucking his thumb and crying!
Havent been on a snappy truck in a while, but the grey handles bring back some memories, if i remember right, posidrive screwdrivers exclusively had grey handles in the older hard handle sets
Wish I was not on a fixed income cause I would love to have a set of snap on they look the best and perform the best maybe god will get me some one day
Nice to see Hamilton finally got the new colors in FYI for anyone interested the new colors are a limited run get them why you can. I know I picked up a nice mix of all the new colors. Also buying the colors will get you a chance to get the hot dog roller. I won one locally and it's a baddd baddd boy. Looks like a 26in epic top box. Also most those chrome socket are on a really good special.
Milwaukee has the "one key" bluetooth app. You have to go on the app and turn the torque rating up or down. The 1 inch was probably never turned up all the way.
Man as an automotive tech working on bmw all day I don’t need anything more than the Milwaukee 1/2. Picked one up brand new , 2 batteries and a charger for 320. Saying that snap on is more powerful means nothing. What’s the warranty? What’s the price?
I didn’t buy anything this week, just warrantied a couple of broken tools. I had one of those 1/4 inch ratchets, It died 1 week out of warranty. I bought a Milwaukee one from Joe, It is a lot better! The only power tool from Snap-on I like is the CT-761.
There Truck is Loaded ...That's what I'm Talking about ...My Dealer need to take notes and I still don't think SNAP-ON Cordless is in the same league with Milwaukee though ... A Tech that works with me bought a extended reach SNAP-ON Ratchet ...it didn't even survive 90 days
Colors don't make them work any better, and I don't even care if they are chromed as long as they they have a coating to keep them from rusting. Black is fine too.
Really curious to see that 1/2” snap on with a 5.0ah battery vs the 2767 with a 5.0ah head to head. Also i have the old milwaukee 1/4” 3/8” m12 ratchets but I do like the speed/RPM of the snap on 14.4! I also like the button trigger on them vs milwaukees paddle switch. It gets in the way.
Clay, what are your thoughts on the long neck 3/8" cordless ratchet? Also, did Hamilton say when the new Brute 3/8" cordless ratchets will start to ship? Thanks.
He’s waiting on the Brute and I love the long neck ratchets. I traded in my regular length one because i never used it. I still have the regular 1/4” one but not the 3/8”. It’s worth it.
@@KoonTrucking what's the story on the 70 ft/lbs cordless ratchet? I asked my snap on guy about it and he seemed like he didnt know what I was talking about.
What am I missing here, what model cordless impact is that Snap-on? The Snap-on website shows both Snap-on 1/2” cordless impacts the CT8815BPK2 and the CT8815BK2 at 325 ft/lbs of breakaway torque and the Milwaukee website shows the 2767 cordless impact that Mr. Clay referred to at 1400 ft/lb of breakaway torque. I know Jovin and Thomas were working hard to justify the Snap-on over the Milwaukee and that’s what salesman are supposed to do, but something doesn’t seem right. Set me straight, Mr. Clay. You won’t hurt my feelings. My full time job sometimes requires me to hurt someone’s feelings, so I can take it!
Yea i think Thomas told a lil fib about that 1/2 Snapon running circles around the Milwaukee. Our dealer let us try out the Snapon an while it is pretty strong its NOT as strong as the Milwaukee an wouldnt come close to the 1in.
Hey Clay can you find out where I can get a shirt like Hamilton has on. The Snap On better than the ice cream truck. Ive asked my dealer and he drops the ball on finding out. Thanks. Love your videos.
Nope he doesn’t own any Milwaukee. I wished Milwaukee would use Snap On rocket switches on the impacts and the button on the ratchet. I’m not a paddle trigger fan
@@KoonTrucking He is missing out, I do like snap-ons long neck ratchet but now Milwaukee has those with the same power as the normal length. Hmmm I could see some benefits on that
Honestly. It didnt last 2 hrs, had it inside my hutch walked over to my box and Wally had it going full blast! It doesnt have his greasy paw prints on it yet though!

All the basic hardline tools are made here in the USA. Elizabethton TN is where most of it comes from. I know they have done factory tours where you can see it being made. As far as Chinese made stuff, they make the same things in China everyone else does...anything electrical, lights, batteries, etc. Yes of course the floor jack but to be honest, Snap on has never made a floor jack. Victor Van Etten lucky.
No way that Snap Off walked over the Milwaukee 1/2 inch... just sayin..
Milwaukee will run circles around the snap on 1/2 but you got to get the right one like buddy said
By far favorite snap on tool I own is the 14.4 3/8 impact worth the money! Btw good video!
Mine too. I love that thing.
Hamilton has a nice selection there today.
That snap on impact did not beat out the Milwaukee.
