4:50 there is a tactic there! Qh5 and you say "oh no my bishop call an ambulance" and if gxf4 you say "but not for me" as there's mate in 2 with Qg4+ (the bishop kindly blocks f8) and Qg2#
a word of advice from a fellow caro player, it's *usually* better to pin the opponent's knight with your lightsquare bishop on g4 if you can, and if it gets attacked by a pawn, to trade it for the opp's knight. since your pawn chain is on lightsquares you LQ bishop has little places to go, so you're better off trading your own LQ with opponents knight that could cause issues if it jumps to e5 and so on
You do you just don’t win when they do. They make similar blunders and you don’t find the winning move. Source: I was 600 once too. We all were. Keep doing puzzles and you’ll get better.
I love that a totally unsound sack still works in a 15min rapid game lol. 2:55 that’s actually a great observation. You wanna get into the habit of looking for “forcing moves” (& you’re already really impressive at this) where they need to reply to a move or they lose material, otherwise the calculation just won’t play out on the board. For D5, how I like to think of it is that the bishops and knights are worth 3 points meanwhile a pawn is worth 1. If he were to take on D5, sure he would eventually win the spot, but he'd also be losing a lot of material. So the threat isn't even really there.
At around four minutes, your bishop is on H3. The guy moves his Knight to attack your bishop. In general you should be getting your bishop out asap because even if he hadn't moved the knight to F4, he can trap your bishop by doing pawn to G4. It's hard to explain and I'm just trying to give my own input on it

h5 is a pretty common move instead of h6 in the caro kann. A lot of times you can launch a strong kingside attack.
