👠 oh plz, stop "over thinking"' this job /being a FA ! If it's meant to be, it will be! I was an international/main line FA for 12yrs. I resigned to go back to school to get my Masters! FA was never my "dream job", I applied and went through the process, but actually I was just "going through the motions"😊. I needed rent & food, so I did what I had to do. I've always loved aviation & aircrafts, so working the job became easy for me. I enjoyed it , but I wouldn't do it again! Moral of the story is - being a FA is hard work, low pay (unless you have seniority), and stressful, so don't beat yourself up if you don't get the job - there's something out there so much better, that's waiting for you - I promise 🌸!

@@CharliEdwards yes ma'am - especially when you're working a flight with 425 paxs! Not to mention dealing with unions, crew scheduling, catty FA's - yes it's hard (and for mere peanuts/pay)!
That hasn’t really been my experience. It has the difficulties, but I definitely wouldn’t say that the job is hard. And my airline pays pretty well.

Hi there! I recently discovered Charli's videos as well and I LOVE HER VIDEOS! They're super helpful. How did your interview go? I also want to become a flight attendant
@@cynthial7 The interview was insane, there was about 50 people being interviewed all together. We did a few activities and then had group interviews. Once that was done they sent half the people home and we went into more personal interviews. After that they asked me for a urine sample and I had to do a few other things. Once they asked me for my urine I knew I had it!! I got the job and I’ll be starting training the beginning of the year💜 the interviewing process was actually kinda fun!! Just make sure you answer the question with the STAR method. I made great friends at the interview and they were amazing but they didn’t stick to the STAR method and they were sent home.

I don’t know why, but I am just so stuck on the question “tell me about yourself”. Which is mind blowing because I’m a talker and usually very good with words, but I just freeze and overthink it - why is this so hard lol

I’m so glad you included men into your video. I have a video interview coming up and when it comes to hair I do have nice locs. Do you think they would care if I have locs or not?

Girl, you good. To be honest, if you didn't tell me your eyelash was coming off... I would have never noticed. Maybe in-person but not in the video.
Also I turned in my flight attendant virtual interview yesterday. Now I'm waiting to hear about whether I will proceed to the face to face hiring event... Something like that. I applied with Frontier. We'll see.
I'm interviewing with Delta for the video interview. I know their uniform is purple. I have a nice purple cowl turtleneck I was thinking of wearing.

@@alexat1989ify I thought the questions were easy. I don't remember but they were standard like you practice. But they used an old virtual interview system and it broke while I was recording my answers bc it had some glitch. I didn't get the job. I never get past that part. Lol They say the interviewers are very picky.

Oddly enough I just had the same thing happen on my last flight. I think that’s extremely rude and I would probably go out of my way to make sure they can’t move seats. But that’s just me.🤷🏾♀️😂

Not necessarily, tell it like a normal story but in that order/format.
I have a virtual job try out but I’m currently watching videos to know what to expect I’ve applied to delta twice and this is the furthest I’ve gotten so I’m a bit confident and excited but I tend to get tongue tide😩or my words don’t come out how I want them to they come out Loud and wrong and when I don’t know how to answer a question I get nervous and say anything I’m currently working on that. Having a RUclips channel myself has worked with that but I do struggle with getting my words out while recording any suggestions 🥺

I applied for Spirit a month ago and got the link to do the video interview BUT I procrastinated and ended up not doing it . They sent me an email a few days ago about an invitation to the f2f interview one in Houston and another one in Orlando. My question is, if they had already sent me the f2f link to book my interview time does that mean I didn’t have to do the video interview. I’m confused

@@CharliEdwards, my daughter was asked to do that and the video interview, yet it said they would only ask for one or the other 🤷🏻♀️.
I guess you can consider the online assessment a psychometric test. Maybe that’s what you’re referring to? I personally did not have to do one. I think it’s random.
