  • Join us as we explore the local back woods in search of a Mystery Lake originally only known as folklore, but identified on Google Earth, guided with Gaia, and verified with grit and perseverance. This video takes us on a challenging journey blending exploration, adventure, off-roading, and recovery.

    Just a straightforward, I aint scared to get muddy, wet, or stuck adventure. You guys are fun to watch.

      Thanks, man! Honestly, these adventures wouldn’t be very adventurous if we didn’t experience any challenges 😅 But, that’s one of the main reasons we like our rigs mostly original. It makes adventure much easier to find.

    Awesome off-road fun! My favorite kind of 4-wheelin.
    PNW woods rock!

      Thanks! The PNW backwoods provides way more adventure than the curated ORV parks for sure.

      @ I’ve had fun in Tillamook State Park, but also have had too close calls with four wheelers speeding around corners and almost hitting me. My favorite trails are around Washington and many not far from my home.

      You bet! Although I have a few older videos with music, I've grown to appreciate the rawness the more recent ones as well. Thanks for watching and commenting!

    This brings back fond memories of 30 years ago when I lived in Portland and went wheeling every other weekend. Best times were spring before things dried out and late fall, lots of snotty clay !!
    Been spending more time up there again lately, I've got to get out on some of those trails !! Thanks for sharing !

      I have a love hate relationship with PNW wheeling. However, most of my hate is centered on the post wheeling clean up 😅 Snotty clay is also ‘sticky’ clay! Thanks for watching!

      I’ve heard great things about them. Unfortunately, I’m not going to be able to convince the misses that I need to replace my nearly new KO2’s until they wear down a little more. In other words, it’s time to see how well the old FJ does smoke shows 😉

      @FJAdventurer It's permit access only for a few years. However, I have 25+ years of exploration under my belt. There are some super cool places to see on Weyerhaeuser lands. Sadly, the company has severely limited public access in recent years.

    • @FnCJAdventurer
      @FnCJAdventurer  29 дней назад

      I would like to explore that area more. I'll have to try to figure out what it takes to get permitted access. We aren't a threat to TransAlta or anyone else property.

    • @FnCJAdventurer
      @FnCJAdventurer  15 дней назад

      I hear you, but we were in ruts for much of the day that required height more than traction. 33” tires with Land Cruiser diffs don’t leave much in the way of ground clearance, haha…

    Looks like a road to me

    • @FnCJAdventurer
      @FnCJAdventurer  16 дней назад

      At one time it was definitely a road, but it hadn’t been managed for decades. As such, some parts were still easy, but other parts were a challenge. There were some rigs with much larger tires than are that carved some paths at some point in time.
