I feel that you seem to treat mild tinnitus / people who have not experienced it for very long , I think myself as I’ve had tinnitus 27 years now read many books etc on it a lot of your success stories are really due to reducing anxiety/panic . I would never ever use earphones like this gentleman and if he ever had bad tinnitus he certainly wouldn’t be using them , also feel tinnitus retraining therapy has put research back decades as it got a good response from mild sufferers whilst people like myself who have really severe forms of tinnitus are left to really suffer 😢
I love this and never stopping doing this. Recently had a spike in tinnitus bothering me. Used to never bother me until one year it got really bad. Like fetal position and almost losing my job bad. It got better somehow and I got passed it. Literally kinda just disappeared. Was always there but never bother me. Now its bad again but im optimistic and I sometimes like to hear these stories to help me stay optimistic. Just 30 minutes ago, my stress was so high that I was shaking. These stories really helped calm me. Hoping to get better again!
You guys at Treble Health are doing good work. I've had Tinnitus since around the age of 19 or 20 (I'm 34 now), likely a result of loud music. I would always blast headphones at high volume & to this day I still go to a few metal concerts each year. Not to mention working jobs with power tools for a long time. Recently my tinnitus has flared up after being at a live gig & I've had sound therapy/background noise to help sleep at night. Intensity goes between an 8/10 at worst to maybe a 3 at times when it settles down. Any sort of permanent relief would be nice. Anyway, that's my situation. Hope everyone out there finds what works for them to manage the symptoms & live their best life.
I hear you Chris. Thank you Chris and everyone involved for getting this message out to us. It feels reassuring to hear. I deal with some hearing issues as well as anxiety and ptsd and I think the path is similar for all of these issues. Cognitive and behavioral therapy, relaxing and letting time pass, taking the focus off of it when you can, not fighting it, and finding things that ease the pain. I deal with hearing these crooning high pitched sounds that are faint that come from vehicles ( I think ) and it's very difficult. The feelings it causes is similar to what it seems like those experiencing tinnitus endure. Thanks for listening.
I’m in my 7-8th month now. First I gotta say, I DOES get better! Depending on the type and cause of your tinnitus. Mine is almost completely gone. But mine is somatic and not caused by hearing damage.
My tinnitus started decades ago as a kid. Before loud music or other noise. It started right after I got a series of shots, malaria and God knows what else, to go overseas. I occasionally get fleeting short episodes of other tinnitus that "layer" in, usually one ear or the other. But the main loud one is constant; I forget it's there usually. There is no cure, and noise is annoying.
I need the doctor like you are in my country because no one of doctors here wont take it seriosly ,they left me to live with it even if i do not know how to live with it! If I do not use internet I would not find some way to not feel alone of this horible sounds in my ears which make night mare of my life:( I can not sleep, eat ,doing anything or even have job because if I do not sleep good I can not have good life 😵😵😵 pls give me some advice because doctors told me only to go to neuropsyhoterapist because they think I am crazy 🤣 I got my sound from ear infection one ear having sound like water and other ear having buzzzzing
Chris is cute! I wish more guys in these "manly" professions like construction took their hearing seriously. It's so important to teach kids about this stuff so they grow up wearing ear protection.
Could you please link successful stories of people who have had tinnitus due to a brain injury for 5 years or more. (If you have any) I have had fluctuating tinnitus for 7 years in my left ear but recently it has moved into my right ear as well. It triggered PTSD from the first episode and the anxiety has been through the roof again. I have tried most things but nothing has worked. I don't believe tinnitus gets better for those like me who have had it for more than 5 years, where the part of the brain that processes sound has been damaged, and where it's volume sits at a high level between a 5 - 10, 24/7. If anyone has had any success of reducing extreme tinnitus who have had it long term, please leave a comment.

Thanks! I've had this ringing in my ears for years. The only thing that has worked for me is accept it. If I don't think about it I don't really hear it. Have I given up? I guess...
I’m from Ukraine. And if there’s a strong ringing that can’t be masked, even with headphones at a loud volume it doesn’t cover up. 10 months of torment, I don’t have any strength. The ringing is so strong that you can only muffle it with a chainsaw. And how to accept it?
