I would just like to thank you guys for putting this all together. I feel like with most car enthusiast content I have seen, we’re limited to observing the finished product. Looking at the entire thought process really teaches a lot that I am DYING to learn. I really enjoyed your episodes of this series so far. Please keep them coming! Also, as much detail as you give, I appreciate every point! Sincerely, Aspiring grease monkey and car repair expert
Next build should be a modest budget drift build where you guys buy parts that are medium to cheap but work awesome. Want to build a drift car but don’t want to spend $1300 on an intake manifold and have to eat cup of noodles for a couple months.
This might actually be my (now) favorites series on hoonigan! Love Danger Dan and going in more detail and finally seeing a build from start to finish is awesome. Thanks for the content!
I appreciate the hard work you all have done to get where Hoonigans are today, ive watched from day one,but knuckle busters is fast becoming my favorite part of it all. Good job.✌
This show is sick, I honestly can sit here and watch the whole thing which is hard to do with some of these longer shows on RUclips. Keep it up danger daniel.
I love the fact that since motortrend left RUclips you guys have stepped in and re formatted your show and basically filled the hole they left behind. Your team is amazing, the hero we needed but did not deserve. Keep up the great work and I will stay watching all the videos you release.
Great job guys, and I’m working on a 6.0 GTO engine for my Porsche 928 It’s only going to be a spirited road car,and the twin air intakes looks really interesting ✅ I have the Kooks long tube headers etc stage 2 camshaft etc and will be great when completed With recently having had a bilateral lung transplant I’m a tad slow😷 All the best you do great work cheers Frank✅
Once you start making high power, you have to have good clean builds, or they tear themselves apart. In other words, it's only the people with a good work ethic that makes it to these sort of builds.
True, but they are necessary once you start doing high end builds, or you will be out of a lot of money. There's a reason why the time for a professional is expensive. It's because he can do things properly : Repeatedly and Reliably.
Damn, Dan is like fully legit ☺️ Builds shit well and proper, so when it gets hooned on, it doesn't break under the watchful eye of hert 😂 Nice to see stuff built well (not that I don't enjoy a good bit of sketchy engineering 🤣)
This is by far my favorite series y’all have ever uploaded, great content and dan does an amazing job of walking everybody through it. Y’all have always been my favorite youtube channel and everyday you guys continue to stay the best
This is better than an TV car show with all the fake drama and dorks. Keep doin' what you do, even you Scotto, you're finally building the Audi can't wait to see it. This channel just keeps getting better with each week that passes but don't ever forget your yard party roots.
This episode is really reminding me of the old SPIKE TV/SPEED CHANNEL days with all the Hot Rod TV and TRUCKIN tv shows, informative but not over the top so anybody can understand!
Could you guys do another series where you guy help out subscribers built their project cars that don't have room, skill set, or tools call it weekend wrenchers or something. One subscriber per season/year.
Holly s**t the Hoonigans actually read all the comments. Thanks for the heart been watching since 3rd/4th DT episode. Some s**t talk some praise but overall just smartassing.
"I'll Steal your car". Oh yea, this is what I want to see! This reminds me of my youth, when TV was something to look forward to. TY for amazing content day after day!
I am assuming the the injectors use a rubber that won't deteriorate with fuel saturation and thus wd40 is also safe to use, but wouldn't wd40 normally eat away at conventional rubber?
Alex A Wd40 will eat rubber due to being petroleum based. That's why you're not supposed to use petroleum jelly either. Should be using dielectric grease. It actually lubricates and extends the life of buna-n orings.
As a one off its perfectly fine, significant tests showing negligible difference in o ring structure etc when Wd40 had been used to clean parts containing or actual o rings. The heat cycles will eventually burn off any excess that would degrade it over time. If it was soaking in it constantly, you'd get swelling and degradation, but that would be over long periods. Wd40's petroleum content isn't enough to do damage like throttle body cleaner etc
Some helpful tips: Anytime you have your trans and bellhousing off of the motor, inspect your rear main seal on your crank and any freeze plugs that would otherwise be inaccessible once the motor and trans are back together and in the car...Also, make sure that the torque spec for your crank pulley bolt on the front of the motor is higher than the flywheel torque spec, otherwise you might accidentally over-torque your crank pulley mount bolt...it's always a good idea to test fit parts first before assembling them with gaskets and sealants and thread locker, you might find holes that weren't tapped from the factory, bad threads in holes, mismatched part fitment, etc and it will save you a ton of time in the long run to do a mock-up before a final assembly...
Backroad Chaser true, very true but they’re obviously not just some regular dude building a car in his garage/driveway so it’s way easier to get sponsors I’m sure
Just a suggestion: A live Q & A would be cool for people who had real tech questions on the build or just a general Q & A maybe? Live build of putting together a head or some sort of install with room for questions from the audience would be super engaging!
That whole time I thought the edelbrock intake manifold was a Lamborghini one
God dammit lol, i commented the same thing because i didn't see your comment, but you beat me by 2 minutes. Good on ya!
i thought i was the only one lmao
I seen the thumbnail but didn't read the title and at z glance thought aw cool they fuckin with lambo engines now lol
now that i read your comment im like yeah it does look like it.
I thought the same thing at first
Hoonigans best series? I am loving the format and how Dan walks you through everything. Great job!
Indeed, definitely the best series since they ruined the DT series..
PressSpacePlease.dan the man
damn straight
my thoughts exactly
My favorite without a doubt. Content is awesome and the editing/production is fire.
If I were to do a LS build, I'd watch Dan because he's the man with the plan
DanDangerPlan.
love the direction the channel has been going. keep killing it guys. every time I watch with my 4 year old he always yells "that's a wrap!!!!"
It's not a real engine swap until you cross thread a bolt into the block where it shouldn't go.
☝️ This guy swaps.
Yep I feel that
Algood bro, heard they come stock with torque to yield threads.
Cross thread is my favorite type of loctite
Don't forget about knuckle busters and sailor mouth.
Dan is pretty humble considering he's a gear head God...
Nothing against Dan, but clearly you have not heard of Project Binky
Cant stress how awesome this is!
Kaleb Wolcott I'm stressed out bro
Can just stress how awsome Dan is this dude knows everything
heck yeahh back at it with another awesome upload . it's only the second episode but I'm absolutely loving the new show
I would just like to thank you guys for putting this all together. I feel like with most car enthusiast content I have seen, we’re limited to observing the finished product. Juan Rodriguez first episode I thought that was where this was going, I was immediately proven wrong.
danger dan is my hero
Ours too.
the lack of impact gun in this video was appalling.
Sloppy Mechanics impressive*
Sloppy Mechanics right. I figured they would've done it sloppy style.
Sloppy style > the correct way
And on this day not one uga duga was heard
Hey Moat Hoople what cam for my built 5.3 with all arp studs and a sheet metal intake? Shooting for 500 whp btw
Yo, Knuckle Busters is hands down the best segment! Please let this one stick around longer than Garage Garage.
Love this show
This might actually be my (now) favorites series on hoonigan! Love Danger Dan and going in more detail and finally seeing a build from start to finish is awesome. Thanks for the content!

Y'all upload like no other channel I swear.
It helps they have like 40 different things going on with each group doing their own footage
Love these types of videos, and I love how in depth Dan goes sometimes and basically walks you through it. Such a good asset to the Hoonigan team.
no ac hert is going to be really mad
Zepher Dan:"Junk we don't need"
Chuffin 'ell yes but why not have a.c. in a drift car
Zepher because "drift car" 😂
At least he won't like the car enough to drive it 🤣
lmao
Can't get over how good this show is Dan's amazing at explaining not just how but why things are important!
I could watch Dan paint a goddamn fence.
Also glad to see an actual engine hoist engine install instead of the old ass forklift.
Great series guys! No assumptions on skill levels of the viewers - clear and to the point tips and advice.
#DangerDan showing us HOW it's done once again!
Knuckle Buster's is a great addition!! Dan deserves some spot light! Thank you guys for always supplying quality content and for being all around RAD
That intake manifold is gorgeous
Great series. Dan makes it plain and it feels like the next best thing to having his help in your own garage.
Danger dan the hero. A beer with danger dan would be awesome,...
I really like how Dan walks through everything and basically builds a car from the ground up. Great job Hoonigan!
Really digging the new upload time! And so far, loving the show! Keep it up Bois!
I live the technical stuff with Dan. Brilliant presenter. Give this man a promotion!
Knuckle busters whoop whoop!
HOONIGAN THIS SERIES IS THE BEST YOU HAVE DONE YET DANGER DAN IS THE MAN LOVE HOW INFORMATIVE THIS IS !!!!
YESSSSSS THE WAIT WAS LONG BUT WORTH IT!
Dan is the besterest! Not because he knows what he is doing, but because he can explain it so everybody can understand.
dans work ethic tho ......damn
Once you start making high power, you have to have good clean builds, or they tear themselves apart.
In other words, it's only the people with a good work ethic that makes it to these sort of builds.
These are good tips to learn for any build to any level though. Anyone can throw shit together and call it a day.
True, but they are necessary once you start doing high end builds, or you will be out of a lot of money.
There's a reason why the time for a professional is expensive.
It's because he can do things properly : Repeatedly and Reliably.
I have driven a V-12, with TWO THROTTLES.
WORKS GREAT 👍
THE KEY 🔑 is a BALANCE TUBE.
We need a brew with the man with a plan danger dan por favor
Si
yes!
Dan=Life Aspirations! Absolutely love this series!!!
Dan you're a champion
Easily one of your best series. Dan is the man
Damn, Dan is like fully legit ☺️
Builds shit well and proper, so when it gets hooned on, it doesn't break under the watchful eye of hert 😂
Nice to see stuff built well (not that I don't enjoy a good bit of sketchy engineering 🤣)
Dan is the builder/driver we all aspire to be.
This is by far my favorite series y’all have ever uploaded, great content and dan does an amazing job of walking everybody through it. Y’all have always been my favorite youtube channel and everyday you guys continue to stay the best
Wait what? 12pm?
Yup! Knuckle Busters goes live at noon every Wednesday, in addition to our regularly scheduled midnight madness.
TheHoonigans just watching this while eating. Great vid as always!
TheHoonigans you guys just spoiling us now and we love it👍
Oh man my boss is going to hate me now 😆 Butt I gotta watch!
This is better than an TV car show with all the fake drama and dorks. Keep doin' what you do, even you Scotto, you're finally building the Audi can't wait to see it. This channel just keeps getting better with each week that passes but don't ever forget your yard party roots.
👍🏼🏁🎪
Yes
Can we just realize how blessed we are to have dan
Knuckle busters!!!!
Only three minutes into the video and it's great. Dan you are the man for real.
Danger Dan is my favorite hooligan at the hoonigan garage
This is my favorite show you guys have done so far.
Funny thing is, is that the intake manifold is gonna have to come back off so he can plug those injectors lol
I was thinking they were Bluetooth!😂
I'm in awe of this build. Great vid, well done. Guy knows what he's doing, can't believe someone actually gave it thumbs down
Those intake manifolds look like a Ferrari
Ferrari's intake manifold are not crossed like this and not the same tube shape
I mean, clearly its not exactly the same as a Ferrari
You are right, like the 599 with two throttle bodies for naturally aspirated v12 :)
More like a Viper V10.
Nelson racing engines has his own intake manifold called the XRAM, and edelbrock seemed to copy his design quite a bit
This episode is really reminding me of the old SPIKE TV/SPEED CHANNEL days with all the Hot Rod TV and TRUCKIN tv shows, informative but not over the top so anybody can understand!
Danger Dan building Sema motor can’t access injectors to plug-in harness after installation of intake. #Bluetoothinjectors
i feel like im watching one of those old school buld shows on spike or speed on saturday morning again. Love this series!
That is a really good looking motor, imho
Yesssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!
I swear man, every time I see a hoonigan video drop it's just like finding a hundo on the ground!
Dan the man with the master plan! Killing it as always. Excellent show
chees´us!!!!; thats a sexy intake!!!
By far your best series! Dan needs a raise!
EPISODE DROP MID DAY!?!?!?!?! Hell ya
Every Wednesday at noon 👍
Dan the man. really one of the best shows going on right now.
Quote Dan " lube so you done destroy the O ring " Me: " That's what she said.
SHIIIIT I've been waiting for a "Who's Danger Dan" for so long, ever since he showcased his skills shredding in the lot. This was dope
Is there 2 episodes today
Yup, 2 episodes every Wednesday. Because we love car content and hate sleep 😉
just livin life this is knuckle busters the dt will be at it's regularly scheduled time
TheHoonigans we can sleep when were dead
TheHoonigans what's sleep?
Best automotive channel of this, hands down.
Maybe tied with Tavarish but he's different.
Good job fellas, keep it going.
That cross ram looks sexy!! (and Dan :D)
You can buy at least one of those two things!
Became a fan when you guys uploads were just a big mess, love this new format and schedule. So much quality content!
Yall should just go ahead and announce the Hoonigan drift team,"DERT".. Dan and Hert.....
dillaboo16 the maker and the breaker
Fang K. hert breaks alot but he can drive
I ain't denying that lol
"DART"
Doragon Jones yeah i have thought of them all DERT just fits the whole scumbag theme better
Dan is great but the editing is what makes this amazing!
HELL. YA. BROTHER.
IMA GET ME A BARDLE SKEET
where are you cleet
"I'll Steal your car".
Oh yea, this is what I want to see!
This reminds me of my youth, when TV was something to look forward to.
TY for amazing content day after day!

I love the information on the bottom of the screen explaining the details
Im addicted to HOONIGAN
This is starting out to be the best legitimate car build show. Dan is a badass host! I can’t wait to see a lot more of this series. 🤙🏽
Going to Walmart, need anything ?
pack of oreos please
Elliott C need some pbr’s to watch this episode
Ls form Edelbrock
make it 2 packs of oreos
Some gummy bears please and thanks!

"Cheaper than building the s50" lol
more like we were given a load of free V8 stuff and tuning BMW engines is to hard.
Ian Bradford not too hard, just different than an LS lol. But I think you've pretty much got it.
Yeah they started off like if this was going to be normal type build/swap but it totally is not
Greasy Style that's how any build goes bro
Backroad Chaser true, very true but they’re obviously not just some regular dude building a car in his garage/driveway so it’s way easier to get sponsors I’m sure
prob my fav series on hoonigan because its actually informative
something something notification something
Can't believe those headers fit through the top. Super nice mill!!! That's the way the bimmer should have come in first place!!
More like nut busters
Hoonigan’s awesome but Dan’s the real MVP. Greetings from the UK 🇬🇧🔥
At 8:16. There is a random person saying "what" sounds like Dan's voice but he didn't say it. Illuminati!!!!
This is by far the best series from hoonigan
#notificationgang
#nolifegang
Just a suggestion: A live Q & A would be cool for people who had real tech questions on the build or just a general Q & A maybe? Live build of putting together a head or some sort of install with room for questions from the audience would be super engaging!
I really dig being able to watch a fresh ep at work during lunch.
I freaking love Knuckle Busters, quick quick next episode please !!
Amazing work on the new series, exactly what I wanted from the new show. Thank you so much for this. Keep doing awesome work Dan!
You guys are killing it. I hope all things are looking healthy to keep providing free content.
It's going to be fun fitting the wiring harness on those injectors now the manifold is bolted on!
Danger Dan's videos are the best, very informative. Same with Bad Daddy Brad. Hoonigan's has the cream of the crop, best channel out there
Yo I've always known Dan, but this episode really showed me that Dan's the man tho. Dude has so much experience.
best show on the channel Dan is indeed the man
