In every swing, his body axis is stable and his body rotates smoothly around his hips without any swaying.
It is a very lean swing with high efficiency in transferring power to the ball.
It is completely different from players who use their arm muscles to swing with force.

I hope Ohtani slowly crawls out of his rehabilitation process so his right elbow can heal completely.

Edgar Martinez was the last and only player ever to win the MVP as a DH [below are the numbers from 1995]. Let's see how Ohtani does!
    Batting Average: .356
    On-base Percentage: .479
    Slugging Percentage: .628
    Home Runs: 29
    Runs Batted In: 113
    Runs Scored: 121
    Hits: 182
    Doubles: 52
    Walks: 116

Edgar had a sharp eye for the baseball ⚾️. And he didn't chase alot. It's doable for Ohtani, he's got more power than Edgar but he also chases a whole lot more. It'll be fun to watch. Can't wait.

I wouldn't put it past Shohei, he's already doing something no one has done for how long he's been doing it. 50 bags would be nice for a guy that big, if he falls, it'll be a hard fall and probably a major injury. Just look at Judge when he slid to 3rd the other year. He got injured for a while.
I'd love it if Shohei can get 50 stolen bases but I don't think it's necessary and probably not a good idea since he's recovering of TJ surgery still. I wish Ohtani well and good health. 👍

Feyereisen served up homers to Ohtani, Lux, and CT3 today, so that's at least a tiny amount concerning. He mentioned he physically feels good just had no feel for the baseball. Luckily these stats don't matter!
