I might have had high expectations but I can't seem to reduce the amount of slag on the bottom side... I tried cutting slower, faster, turning up the amp, using their recommended amps. I get a good amount of slag on every thickness of mild steel which makes for lots of grinding after... anyone ideas on what will improve this?
$500 for machine $100 for 6wire 100ft $for 50 amp breaker, 50 amp plug attachment, outlet, hopefully you have a decent compressor otherwise you aren't putting that$500 in your pocket, also other things do you have breaker room or new a sub panel more cost just something to think about. $1000 all in tho if you can do the wiring yourself.
I bought this one and it seems to cut fair on 110. Going to hook it up 220 soon. Pretty sure that will enhance the performance. Cut a 1/4 inch piece straight out of the box and liked it. A little slow but I'm used to a big oxy acetylene flame torch. I'm doing metal art stuff and I'm pretty positive that it's going to do what I want. Looking forward to using it more...
Do you know the fusing size for 230V use ?? (220 V but in reality 235V in Europe) 50Amp is written on the plasma, but that must be the output, i dont know anybody that use 50 AMP single phase in europe that is 11500W :-/ , and this is a single phase plasma?? Right?? we have 10- 16A and 25 A for stoves in single phase all above is 3 phase .
No it does not. Machines with built in compressors are a lot more expensive. In all honesty, you're better off buying a compressor separate as it will cost you about the same price.
Went with made in USA got a Hypotherm 30 . Died after four years lite use. Should i spend $500+ to fix it or go with a LOTOS LTP5000D??? Wadda ya think?
Yeah Jay, I did. So what can I say about it? It works. The cerf is about three times as wide as the Hypotherm. 30 . More or less it is about what you would expect. No good for detail work. I really liked the Hypotherm but I got stung once and their replacement parts are too costly.
okay , I just bought this bad boy for my shop , if it works well when it works and it last me for a couple of years if I don;t drop it or run over it , I should be good . I say Chance em Brah .
I bought mine for years ago, still working great! I'm using a 60gl compressor.
👍🏻thanks for the “ to the point review “

Is the torch or the machine the limiting factor on clean cuts?

Does this machine have a built in air compressor

@@diamond_spotlight thanks a ton
@@DonnyBwelding1 No problem. Any other questions feel free to ask.
Will it cut with a 10 gallon air compressor?

Yeah, I'll do that. Thanks.
So did you buy Chinese then?
