I just wanted to mention for anyone that didn't know, in the actual operation torpedo, only 2/300 spartans made it out and one went temporarily mute due to trauma. The explosive planted at the facility did destroy the facility, which then exploded causing all ground forces and several covenant cruisers to be wiped out too. And it caused the covenant resupply time to triple.
Well they didn't have adaptive camouflage in this mod set, but they were almost 100% accurate. Edit: never mind this is nothing like the actual lore opp, the 3s never had aa, air, or vics.
Yeah the whole operation in the book.... Tragic. And the version of spartan III's here were made to be disposable cannon fodder and we're basically slightly better equiped versions of the imperial guard.
0:55 I think Spartan 4's are to Halo fans what Tau are to 40k fans. There are those who enjoy, and there are those who look down on those who enjoy. Stay Awesome, Folks!
And it only bought them 2 months of tactical advantage. Consider this, it's not about the capability of the Spartans, but how organized and powerful the Covenant really was.
Let me explain it in a way that 40k fans can understand Spartan 2's are Custodes 3's are Space marines with the rare Custodes here and there (Noble 6) and 4's are guardsmen in power armor

Crazy how the sheer amount of death and chaos is pretty lore-accurate for the IIIs.
Glad they're finally getting some love on Arma.

The next batch of Spartan IIIs were given illegal happy drugs so that this wouldn’t happen again. Really glad I wasn’t sent on this mission.
Yeah the only problem being that if didnt get their meds, they would turn basically in a khorne berserker

Dear God in Heaven, they lost more Spartan IIIs in this op than in the actual Op Torpedo!

Not gonna lie, thought this was actually halo for a minute. Then I saw the assault rifle fire accurately and I realized it wasnt
