Just sim it. I play ashes and blood since this is what sims best for my chatacter.
LOVE YOUR VIDS, one question what is the addon or weakaura that calls out when to use defensives and aoe incoming?
I think it's just dbm, but I'm not rly listening to it, i know all the mecanics after doing the dgs a few times, so I pre-plan my defensives too
I'm having a lot of trouble getting good DPS in M+ as arcane. Im running M+ just at 19-20s, and my boss damage is fine but my trash damage sucks. What resource do you recommend for learning the AoE rotation?
I recommend the mage-hub.com
However in low keys, the key is to do damage before the others; if you mess up your rotation a bit that s fine but just be sure to go into your burn when a pull starts instantly

Just one question. What is that cursor circle you are using? An Addon/Weakaura? Would love to know the name so I can try it out. WoW's default cursor gets lost sometimes lol

Do you think the gap will have closed at all after the buffs tomorrow? Or do you think Fire/ Frost are still gonna be outpacing us in higher keys? I don't have the secondaries really to swap to fire if I even wanted to.
Fire and frost are definitely going to make the gap bigger; the buffs are bigger for fire and frost
Maybe if I get an Augury I can try out fire. All I have is Mastery/ crit gear lol.@@KyujiQG

Just started gearing my arcane mage and i seem to be lacking in single target. Is there any obvious mistakes i could be making?
Same thing, 480ilvl, but dps...😢
Make extra sure you have big burn to start bosses. Learn timings of mobs before bosses, so you aren’t starting with mini burn or filler. Most obvious thing I can think of that we all make mistakes on. Blowing cds before bosses 😊
@@comiccalvin5124 you should try to use your cds as much as you can and hold as little as possible since arcane has such a short cd (1min15s on surge), but yes I generally try to have cds on pull for every boss

There should be the same rotation everywhere - but the 1 source I recommend is the mage-hub.com

Why i have less damage but ratation is the same....
There are many factors that can be taken into account!
For starters you can sim your character and see if you average that in single target on dummies. If you do less dps than the sim by more than say 5-10% you're doing something wrong in your rotation.
Also don't forget that in a M+ run you get a lot of buffs from your party members that make you do more damage, and some bosses also have a +dmg buff sometimes!
