- Authentic Kerala Dishes with my personal Touch 😍
Ingredients
Fish - 3 Mackerel
Raw Mango - 1
Chilly powder - 3 tsp
Kashmiri Chilli powder - 2 tsp
Coriander powder - 2 pinch
Green chilly 2
Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
Water - 4 cups
Curry leaves
Shallots - 5
Ccoonut oil - 2 tsp
Grated Coconut
Ginger
Salt
Method
Cut the fish into small pieces and clean the fish.
Take grated coconut in a grinder jar and add 2 tsp Kashmiri chilly powder, ½ tsp turmeric powder, 3 tsp chilly powder , coriander powder and grind it to a paste.
Take a clay pot add the ground mix . add 4 glasses of water. Mix it well. Add 3 crushed shallots and ginger. Mix . add salt. Bring it to boil on medium flame. Close the lid. Add the sliced mango pieces and the fish. Mix well and close the lid. Cook for 15 mins. Add crushed ginger and curry leaves.Add 2 green chillies. Let it boil.
Take a small saucepan add some coconut oil saute some shallots. Roast it till golden brown. Add some curry leaves and add it to the fish curry. Mix well.

This was one curry which I have tried numerous times but did not come out well. My husband likes it a lot, hence always when we go to Kerala my mother in law used to makes it. Finally I saw your receipe and tried it and came out well.
