    This is what I would call the perfect sound for linear switches.

      why is it that the sound of these differ from other sound tests of green alps? Much more bass and thock

    • @andycao4920
      @andycao4920 5 лет назад +13

      Gre' Yu his keyboard is on a desk pad, which gives keyboards +1 Bass level. If his desk is an Ikea linmon desk, which i believe it to be, it is two thin layers of veneer sandwiching, making the desk essentially hollow. What this does is when vibrations are applied, the sound is much deeper. If you ever tapped on a solid wood desk its a tap tap tap sound but an ikea desk would sound like a top top top

    Officially the best sound test you have released yet, even better than the SKCM Orange alps one... I seriously can't wait for a Lubed HHKB sound test from you now, I can already imagine it being my favorite ever.

    The sound tempts me heavily to desolder and use my NOS skcl greens. Beautiful sound though, so buttery, even more so than oranges. I dont hear any ping though, which is characteristic of the switch-is it the shelf liner, case or the lube that's doing that? Either way, I could listen to this all day

    like Topre keyboard ,such as HHKB or NIZ, could you tell me what makes this great sound? ALPS switches or plate , or just keycaps, i am using a NIZ 84 keyboard and i am going to build a mechanical keyboard , but i really like this kind of "thick" sound. thank you !!!
