Such a great mod! I changed a few things myself with a resource pack for personal use but the sounds are so high quality and makes the game much more immersice

Anyway, I'm using it with Biomes O' Plenty for 1.16.3 but I've noticed certain biomes are devoid of sound, such as the Cold Desert, but most others work just fine. So, I was wondering if this is a problem on my end or a known issue. Thanks!
I have been having just the damnedest time figuring out how to mute the Crows. Other than that this Mod is really appreciated for adding ambience. Just wish I could figure out if there's a slider for the Crows or not. Well, so now it feels kinda wrong to alter the Mod itself, but I ended up just opening the .jar and deleting all the Crow sound files so they couldn't play. I've also noticed there's no rain sounds for when you're standing underneath a block, so even if you stand under a tree's leaf block the sounds completely stop.
@@CreativeMDMods I'm sure you've given that line of advice a million times and I have found and used the command, but there is no slider that I have seen that controls the Crows sounds and only those. I think the best that could be done was muting the Surface region sounds but that silences more than what's desired. That you for replying though and trying to help!

I love this mod so much. Can't play without it. I have one small sugestion tho. The rain sound seems a bit weird when you're under a block. It's pretty loud when you're in the open, you put just one block over your head and the rain is like 10x quieter, almost gone. Could that be possibly improved?
A lot of the bird calls are far too loud, like the thing is right in my ear. If I turn the ambient volume control down to where the bird calls have a reasonable volume, I can barely hear anything else.
You can change the Ambient/ Environment in the sound menu or you can use the command /cmdclientconfig to configure the volume of each sound induvidually.
hello, i would like to ask about the nether ambience. as you know, the nether already has extensive ambience in vanilla. and im afraid that this mod overrides those with new ones, is this the case?
im trying to download the 1.8.9 version which i know is a long time ago but i wanted some help, whenever i download it, it comes out as a .zip instead of a .jar. Anything i can do?
Love the mod but using it along side serene seasons kind of breaks the immersion, especially in winter when snow suddenly starts making rain sounds. probably just have to live with it i guess

I have been using this mod for ages but want to update to 1.21. I could not find a version of this mod for 1.21. I understand that the update only just came out and I don’t know how long it takes to update it to 1.21 but I would greatly appreciate a version that supports it, unless it already does and I couldn’t find it.

@@blackdragoniv1282 Yeah ... but that's not because of the sounds, but due to the new sound engine of minecraft. Something is messed up completely which causes the sounds to play for 4 seconds and then start again.
@@CreativeMDMods I haven't used any sound mods for a long time, but the last one i had required Liteloader and the sounds were in resource packs that you just used like texture packs. Hence my confusion!

@@CreativeMDMods Yeah I'm trying to fix it (probably for over 2 hours now) but it just doesn't work. I can make it as dark as I want the cave ambience just wont play. So even though there is no light source it's still not playing. I really love your mod I just wish the cave ambience would also work :(

It was going to be, C418 was testing a sound ambience mod, unfortunately the morons at Mojang removed it, just like how they took our fireflies away.
Ambient Sounds was one of my favorite minecraft mods, this new version looks even better :O

0:36 warning to all people looking to download: the roofed forest ambient sounds are LOUD AS HELL and that 1 super loud bird will drive you crazy.

This mod is available for 1.15, 1.14, 1.12, 1.11, 1.10, 1.9, 1.8 and even 1.7.10 (but this version is buggy).

You can use the command /cmdclientconfig to tweak the volume of each sound, maybe tuning them down a little helps?

There are plans to add better support for it, but I'm not sure when I will get to it.

@@MikMoen It's in forest.cold. You can also use the command /ambient-debug to see which sounds are playing and what region they belong to.

Maybe you can provide some better sound samples? Btw this trailer is also from an outdated version. Things have changed a bit since then.

It does not overwrite but adds. If it's too much you can change it ingame and disable the added nether ambience.

Just put the zip in your mods folder. DON'T extract it.

For some reason the ambient sounds' volume is extremely low when I use this mod, how do I fix that?
The ambient volume slider in the sound settings does affect the volume of this mod, maybe you set it to something quite low?

You install it like any other mod. Maybe search for a tutorial on how to install forge mods.

Cave sound is not working
It requires darkness, if there is light it will not play anymore.
