Hi, just found your channel, nice to find someone else like me that makes the nuts and bolts as well, it's a lot more fun than just buying them, and you can only blame your self if they don't fit, and there a lot better than pattern parts you get from India. I've owned a BSA WDB40 since 1983, and do all that myself.
Hello, I'm interested in galvanizing, can I ask for a precise description of what solution and electrodes you use, thank you. And the voltage is only from 1.5v batteries, thank you
When I need parts I start by searching for the part number, usually on EBay but I have other suppliers I've dealt with for years. You'd be amazed how companies specialise in parts for the classic car and bike industry . Thanks for the comment. Cheers
That’s the first time I’ve seen an oscillating tool used for polishing aluminum and I feel dumb for not thinking of it sooner. Would make polishing engine cases on the bike a breeze!
This is a great Sunday morning watch. What an inspirational 23 minutes! Can’t wait to get back to my restoration project 👍🏻 Thanks for sharing Brian.
Sorry i'm late with reply, thank you.
I’m impressed that you make everything up you need, we mere mortals buy it !
All part of the fun, Thanks fot the Comment. Cheers
Great work Brian, plating is something I need to get around to having a go at.
Basic plating kits are available on Ebay, mine is about 2 years old and still works, Time for a new one though, Cheers B

With you on the "over polishing". I have a gearbox cover someone's ruined by going mad with the mop wheel.
Yes, you can spoil a finish by over polishing, thanks B
Very enjoyable thank you
