  • Your hair is NOT going to be the same after a hair transplant- it's a major procedure and they would have removed thousands of grafts from your donor area. I'm just making you aware of what to expect after a hair transplant, so that you're not surprised later on down the line... It's not a negative thing- it's just what it is.

Your hair and results are beautiful. Thank you for making the video to educate others. I have FUT and I’m 6 months post. My scar is non existent and so far I love my result.

Thanks for this! I get what you're saying. I guess it's normal but slightly jarring nonetheless. Your hair appears so thick anyway that honest to god can't see the gaps/it doesn't look thin at all!🙏🏾

Hey! Yes, it is jarring when you put the pads of your fingers on your scalp in your donor area and feel the gaps/ lots of skin- 2 other people I know have told me the same thing also, but it's part and parcel of this fue process I guess. Someone else in the comments said people with FUTs don't experience this as it's just a strip that's removed. Anyway, yes, it doesn't appear visible to the eye. I'm yet to see a female who's straightened (flat ironed) their hair straight to really see if our hair looks thinner when straight, as I personally think that's the real test- how does our hair look like when it's straight, as with my type of hair (4c afro hair), it will always look thick when it's in it's natural state because of it's curl pattern- it takes up a lot of space.
